This is an excellent breakdown on the 3070ti cards out there so much appreciated! I caught the Tuf OC on sale at New Egg a few weeks back for 699 USD and they had a 10% off promo going at the time up to 50 USD off. Bought an Inno3D x3 moslty because it was one of the rare ones under egregious price here in France (on ebay, the us ones coming in more expensive bc shipping) and i am happy to see that it's just meh, and for the noise i didn't "test it" but it doesn't sound that loud, it's under the level of my NZXT 140mils PS : It's also a 2 slot long cooler, basically the same as their 3080 X3 one, and stays a bit under 80°C even when rendering, with 110% power limit.
You said 3070ti being the most inefficient gpu - does it mean that you would avoid it and buy the 3070 unless the 3070ti (even from the lower parts on your tier list) would cost the same price? Thanks.
I did the same hunted for the FE and undervolt it. I planned to mod the card to water cooling, but seeing the price for the water cooling block i said nope. Cause my main concern was the memory temps, those are really not that bad after you undervolt the core. So i just keep it air cooled and wait for RTX 4000 and sell it off as fast when i have the RTX 4080 in my system. Core: 1800MHz Mem: 10500MHz Fan: 60% @ 60C
I really like the PNY Revel, it would work great in my Jonsbo V8 case with the pass through air flow design. This is an ITX case with horizontal mobo layout which is the best imo, less stress on CPU and PCIe socket(s). Does the PNY Revel 3070ti have an extra VRM over reference like their 3070? You didn't list their phase count like on your 3070 video I don't think. This card would look sick standing upright up against the side vent in my case. Is this a solid, reliable card?
I love my PC that I built and have a FE 3070ti. I got a good deal on it at the time and I don't regret it. Does run hot though, I had to set a custom curve on afterburner.
funny how the EVGA ftw3 Ultra cards are absent from almost all reviews. Its like the card was never sent out to anyone to review. Just picked one up at BB for msrp but havent had a chance to use it yet. I chose EVGA cause it can be traded in for upgrade to 3080 which is a far superior card even at a step upgrade in price of around 400 bucks....
EVGA is insanely quiet and even pushing all settings to max on every game I've tried it's yet to break 54c with just an air cooled case. You didn't choose wrong I'm a huge fan of this card.

I had recently purchased the MSI Ventus version & I must say that this gpu is quite satisfying for my needs. The card is well-built, the thermals are good when gaming & surprisingly, the card is quite light regarding its weight 👍
Being well built with good thermals are only in a vacuum with nothing else to compare to. But yes it is still a 3070 Ti and it will perform up to spec.
What is the difference between the Colorful Ultra OC (that you reviewed) between the Colorful Ultra W OC? I'm thinking on buying this, it's the best price here in Brazil, the other one with this price is the MSI Ventus 3X, but according to your video, the colorful is better, but I don't know if is the same model.
In your review of the EVGA FTW3, my own personal use in an Enthoo Pro 2 where the ambient stays between 22 and 26C, the card has yet to break 60C and is able to push boost clock past 2Ghz.

Hello, I have the FTW3 3070 ti to also and mine does go to 310w and over 2050 in clocks, so it over locks itself pretty good my temps are a bit hotter than yours sometimes reaching 69c but I’m very happy overall, download EVGA precision X it updated my card bios maybe yours needs an update to reach 310w
This is what i was waiting for! Thanks
I have EVGA FTW3 ULTRA, and i fully recommend it!! It's a master pice. Great cooling and noise, not to mention amaizing rgb.
okay i will take one just because of you
Question:
Should I buy the 3070Ti MSI Ventus 3x or the 3060Ti Gaming OC Pro?
Is the 90$ difference worth it?
I’m aiming for 1080p 144Hz gaming.
Decided to go with the RTX 3070Ti Gaming OC.
Thanks for the video I had chosen the EVGA FTW and works really good !
As an owner of the Zotac Amp Holo I can hard agree on the card being loud. Undervolting it solved some of the noise issues.
is this the same for the extreme version?
@@yourlocalhuman3526 I can't say. I have the AMP Holo HoloBlack, not the Extreme version. However, I would try to find another 3070ti card. The Zotac card isn't bad but there are better out there. I only got it because I got a killer deal on it given the times.
Just ordered the Ventus one.. the only reason is that it's super affordable in comparison to the rest. I also only did so because I didn't have a bad experience with my Ventus 2060.
eyy same
Awesome content as usual !
Thank you!
Keep it up, man! I'm looking forward to the 3050 stats if you're planning that.
Best comparison video out there
I finally did it. I got a Asus TUF 3070Ti for $700 (incl. tax + s&h). I couldn't believe my luck. I wanted a 3060Ti but at this point I'll take any GPU for close to MSRP. Now I just have to buy the rest of my set-up.
Haha congrats, I also ordered my evga 3070ti xc3 ultra for $750 just $150 above msrp and I feel so blessed
@@ssfdf7751 Considering what other people paid for their GPUs that isn't that bad. Glad you were able to finally get one!
thanks for the knowledgeable insight and breakdown. many months in and GPU dump season, is a great reference for people less in tune with whats going on!
Awesome help to the GPU community thanks for your handwork, major thanks 👍
Thanks for the info
Appreciate all your hard work my guy.
Thank you I appreciate the support as well!
@@OTechnology I have the msi suprim x 3070 ti and it is a really great card. I am very happy with it.
You made this video literally 1 day after i bought a pc with EVGA RTX 3070TI
Thanks, perfect timing for me
colorful is quite popular choice in my region, southeast asia, so far it got good review for long time users.......so im planning to get one also
Yay! Thank you for this 🥳🤓
You're welcome!
Literally just bought an asus tuf oc 3070ti from Amazon at $699.99. Was trying to hold out for a 3070 at a cheaper price but I’ll live.
I got the strix for $899 but I’ll be exchanging it for a 3080 for $999
@@Po7ent the 3080s keep coming into stock on Amazon for $850
OMG finally! Insta like and I'm ready to watch!
ASUS's TUF series video cards are always pretty tough contenders ( pun intended ) in any professional hardware comparison since they launched this budget product line! Imho ROG and STRIX are just overpriced "enthusiast" halo products but TUF is always 99% the same quality hardware.
TUF have overheating VRAMs. their coolers are beyond garbage. the heatsink only touches half of the VRAM chips
@@adriannasyraf3534 only on the 70Ti
The 70 has no such problem because the VRAM heatsink is unified with the main heatsink while the GA102 series have proper positioning on the secondary heatsinks
@@adriannasyraf3534 Bro that's a big fat lie and you know it, my ASUS RTX 3070 Ti TUF Gaming OC doesn't overheat literally it never gets over 69°C even at max stress test and further undervolt/overclock.
@@vladvah77 /watch?v=f8f6ZHCPVpw now show us your "truth"
I'm surprised the zotac model got ranked 2nd. Their other 3000 series cards are extremely underwhelming
Zotac gang
I was thinking about buying one of them, what would be the negative points that you identified in the other models please?
@@GustavoJochims basically in all of his other videos the zotac models were ranked low in all categories. But if you do buy a zotac card you'll probably be fine if you don't plan on overclocking it.
This is actually funny that this video has come so late.
Why this is funny is, that in EU you could hunt for FE models and get them for MSRP through out the whole year in 2021.
Now that the GPU shortage is almost over in 2022 recommending to not buy the FE is very respectful haha.
Pumped to get my asus tuf 3070 ti next week. Upgrading from a 1060 6gb strix
I upgraded from the Gigabyte 2070 Super to the MSI 3070ti Gaming X Trio and I'm glad its about dead middle of the tier list.
My only problem is its massively huge lol had to cut a little bit of the hard drive bay in my Fractal R5 Design case
A very useful video. Thank you very much 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Bought an Inno3D x3 moslty because it was one of the rare ones under egregious price here in France (on ebay, the us ones coming in more expensive bc shipping) and i am happy to see that it's just meh, and for the noise i didn't "test it" but it doesn't sound that loud, it's under the level of my NZXT 140mils
PS : It's also a 2 slot long cooler, basically the same as their 3080 X3 one, and stays a bit under 80°C even when rendering, with 110% power limit.
You said 3070ti being the most inefficient gpu - does it mean that you would avoid it and buy the 3070 unless the 3070ti (even from the lower parts on your tier list) would cost the same price? Thanks.
So much info thanks for effort
Thank you for this video, so helpful!!!
I love these videos. Very helpful.
Thank you! btw do you got any more of those OC videos? haha
@@OTechnology I might do a video on the 2990wx soon. It seems to be stuck at 3400mhz though and its very annoying. Should be able to do 3600 or 3733
@@LawrenceTimme talking about memory speeds?
@@OTechnology yes. The CPU frequency is ok, I can do 4.15-4.3 depending on the benchmark
Thx i was waiting for it.
i got a asus tuf oc and i am super happy it the performace and cooling
Is it still running good? Im debating whether to get it
I was only able to get the founder's edition at msrp, undervolting it improved it a lot but it's not the greatest card
Does run hot though, I had to set a custom curve on afterburner.
ciamik memang om owen
I waiting this vidoe for month
Thqnk you🌹
Sorry for the wait!
awesome video!
Have a nib strix 3070TI OC that I don’t need, ended up getting a 3090 for kids school workloads. Been sitting on a shelf for months.
Picked up the 3070 suprim, it’s infinitely better than my old Zotac 3070 twin edge. The cooler is a monster and it never downclocks under load.
3070ti is the definition of Ti = tiny improvement. Nvidia didn't even bother to give it more VRAM. In a normal market, this card would NOT sell well
It is literally an overclocked to hell 3070 lol
For 2K gaming it has more than enough VRAM bro
@@vladvah77 For todays single player games. In the next 2-3 years, good luck.

just leaving a comment for the algorithm since this video is so helpful
Thank youuuu !!! 😊 ❤
funny how the EVGA ftw3 Ultra cards are absent from almost all reviews.
So much detail in your review. Thanks. I love Asus strix
Nice! Finally a 3070TI version!
Yes finally lol took me too long.
LOL,how old is this video and I'm using it today to justify buying a card from Newegg now that they aren't UNOBTAINIUM.
Thanks Dude,Got the Gigabyte OC for $699./754. taxed
I don’t see anything mentioning the ASUS Tuf oc v2 how would this compare on the ratings? Mainly just want to know is it better than the oc v1 and or the tuf?
Do you think it should higher in the tier list?
@@bluhlust I personally would place it higher yes. The cooler on it is astounding. I regret ever buying a waterblock for it tbh.
@@ShaunNuzzo ah okay. I’m currently trying to build my first pc and I have the gpu (evga 3070 ftw3 ultra) here already. Just waiting for the rest of the parts but man this gpu is beefy af.

I was surprised with the Palit Gaming Pro RTX 3080 (same type of cooler as the 3070TI version) as I had to compromise for the first time, usually an MSI buyer but the difference in price was way too much! Love the ASUS TUF but very expensive, same with the MSI Suprim....Value wise the Gigabyte Eagle is great...Good news prices have come down at least in the UK...If you can get these or any 6700/6800/3070/3070Ti/3080 for MSRP or near MSRP I would get one as I fear the RTX4000/Radeon 7000 is going to be another terrible time for prices...I had the 3070Ti and it is an immense GPU for 1440p gaming and even light 4K
I’m excited, I just picked up a brand new 3070ti tuf for $450
@@EhoenChoi HOW?!
Hi I just bought msi suprim last month. I'm loving it but I'm curious why the games is stuck on 6gb vram? I was hoping I could get more juice if it's consuming 8gb or close to it. TIA

Is the PNY GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB XLR8 Gaming UPRISING EPIC-X a good buy? It's the cheapest 3070 ti in my country and costs around $1000.

got question about colorful andvanced tho, how do you rank it so high when in the data we can see the VRM and cooler is not that good, do you mistaken it with the vulcan OC?
I bought the last GIGABYTE Vision GeForce RTX 3070 Ti at $800 on Newegg yesterday lol
Got an open box (like new condition) 3070 ti tuf oc for 680 after tax. The luck to get any under 700$ with tax feels great.
oh damn thats good, where did you find it?
i have a Asus strix 3070 ti, its play games at 4k mixed setting 60FPS but it lacks VRAM it seems like the card has more to give but is limited by VRAM which prevents me from putting everything on high i gotta use mixed settings i recommend a 3080 with 12GB that will be enough.
so, is it better to buy a top 1-2 rtx 3060ti or a low tier rtx 3070ti for example Inno3D?
Hi, how would do rate the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua OC? Can it become the lower tier Ti brother ?

My Gigabyte 3070 ti had problem and Gigabyte didnt even help 2 times i send for repair and still they didnt. While i am using sharkoon Rev 300(you can check the position of GPU) and the GPU is on Vertical position i get 92+ full load. But if i lay down my PC case and the GPU goes on Horizontal position temps are normal full load 68-70
Loved the effort to analyze the cards ! You guys think I can use the gigabyte vision OC with a 650w power supply? just found one in a incredible price but not sure if I can power it with my power source.
If you’re still looking for one. You’d probably be best with an 850watt power supply instead.
Do you recommend the palit game rock oc ?
