You have no idea how much confidence this video gave me. I just bought a 350z nismo non rolling chassis its gonna be tons of work but people like you make it possible. Ill write to you personally U da man forrrreal
Do you have a folder or play list for all your z stuff? I keep getting you cost vid and every once in a while I come across other vids like youu self made harness. I would love to see more
@@BlaserBuilds lol sooo I did see the list expansion arrow …. In the play list… there it is man I’m dumb . Been looking off and on for the past 6 months on my phone.
Sounds good bro but that’s just to much work thanx for this informative information for what’s it’s worth I might as well just mod the hell out my 6 the main reason for the swap is just to have that American muscle sound v8
He literally showed companies that will do the full swap for under 18k... pls find me a 500hp car that you can buy for that price today. Enjoy getting gapped by turbo civics for life.
LS engines are built to last. I had over 215k on my 02 Z28 when I sold it. And it had plenty of life left in it too. I also took care of it, like I do all of my rides. I have a G35X that just pushed over 200k and it will last another 100k easy. Hopefully the transmission holds as well as the transfer case, front and rear diffs. Key is to maintain your vehicle and they'll last long. If mine ever taps out, I'm definitely going to do a LS swap. I'm already familiar with them too.
Hey man I have a question. I’m doing the 5.3 swap in my Z and I’m wondering how will I get my brakes to work. I’m still learning so if you can shed some light that would be great. I’m using a standalone harness from fitech
Why are you doing a swap if you don't know any of this? Your brakes have nothing to do with your engine. Pretty sure you can complete the swap without even removing any of the brake system.
So what's your opinion on this if you don't have the car yet but are looking at projects? Would you rather do this or buy a c6 vette? I'm looking at having a project and want something fun but don't want to have a passion project that doesn't make sense. This sounds expensive!
It depends on what you want out of the car. Do you want to rip it around and maintain it or do you want to get your hands dirty and rebuild the car? If you have the time and money to leave it in a garage parked for a couple months then drop the motor into whatever car you want. If you just want a weekend driver that you don't need to mess too much with then get the Vette.
Hey rapport, sorry for the delay. I am not afraid to take the time to build it out but don't want to rip the engine every weekend to fix it. I know gm blocks can hold big power even with a stock bottom where as these 3.5s need to be fully built and have much less room for error at the high numbers. Looking for something light...
Thanks for doing this bro. Add a catchy intro and some fancy thumbnails and get the million views you deserve.

Great breakdown of what is involved with the swap and the options that are available.
First thing I thought was PowerPoint this is where I need to be .. Legitness, cracks knuckles .
Really liked this in depth video. I'm thinking of doing a LS swap in my infiniti m45 when the engine goes bye bye
Great content! It shows a little about how to go about a project like this. Research research research!
Master class in session
Thankyou for making this it helps alot on making a informed decision
If had to do it again on a cd009 use the collins adapter or the sikky adapter for the cd009 thks
Looks like I'm swapping the 4.8 into the truck and spraying the VQ👍👍
I know I don’t need it bc my car runs fine but j wanna buy a engine just in case it blows

It's in the "Unfairlady 350z Project" playlist. Most of the stuff should be there.

I want it as if my g came with the motor, I'm looking to run a manual valve body automatic. Would like to run boost and retain air conditioning.
what about a g37 coupe would it be the same thing swapping an ls swap because I plan to ls swap on my Infiniti g37s coupe
I want to LS my g35
Just buy a good used corvette
Haha. I think this quite often. Do I swap my z or just get a c5 for 10k. Great idea.
Can you send me this power point???
Where can I find this PowerPoint
I made it. Not sure if I have it on computer anymore just video.
Would most of this also apply to swapping a G37s?
@a21Bravo what do you need to retain AC
Can you do a l99 swap into a z the automatic ls3 with the 6l80e trans?
I don't see why not.

Danny Purpz lol what the brakes are completely irrelevant to the engine/Ecu

Make sure the booster has vac than you are good
