Correct, the conditioning is a one time while brand new. NOT once each day before using
Oh man, that's a new one for me. Most DTF applies between 310-320, the T. Seal finishing sheet has a temperature tolerance of 270-290 max. We want to stay in that range for best results. Do you drop the heat after pressing before using T. Seal?

Hi, you mentioned not to use the T.seal sheet with sublimation toner but, what about using it with a white toner transfer? Will the T.seal help the white toner transfer with durability and better, less glossy prints?? Thanks for the Video!
Hi, thanks for stopping by! That will work fine as long as you use the recommended heat press temperature of 290 F. Be sure to never use the T. Seal above 300 F.
Do you have to use the t seal immediately after pressing the DTF I am pressing quite a few shirts
Hello, we would not say it needs to be performed IMMEDIATELY after. Most DTF transfers will be applied around 310-320 F and you NEVER want to use this T. Seal product with heat above 300 F. Should be fine to perform the second press with T. Seal after your press has dropped to the advised heat of 290 F.

Hello there! It should be effective against that but the main things to maintain transfer health post press would be:
settings - correct time/temp/pressure
care instructions - cold water/inside out/tumble dry low/NO FABRIC SOFTENER

Great question: since there is a coating to the T. Seal we would advise keeping covered and as clean as possible for longest usage and best results
I'm working with cold peel DTF transfers. Is it possible to apply DFT transfers to several garments, and then, as a second step, apply the t.seal to all? Or, does the t.seal have to be applied immediately after each DTF application? Thanks for your help.

Hey new to the DTF world. We accidentally used our T-Seal before conditioning it and the T-Seal textured side is left with some fiber imprints and such. Still seems to be working overall but could we condition it before using it again alone to see if the sheet reforms and then use it... or do you recommend at this point just continuing to use it as usual? RThanks.
Great question: we would advise to still perform the conditioning and always be sure to never use above 290F!

Total marketing, the two most important aspect is three things, the right film, the right ink, the right powdering (with the right amount of time after printing to wait prior to powdering), most importantly the pressure of the heat press. A second press using parchment paper will do the exact same results. Indeed, even a long press at a lower temp for second press will equally bake into the fibers and if your halftoning night and day. I agree, I haven’t tried T Seal yet but I’ve seen a video where they bring people in for blind test. Not a single person picked the T Seal as softest. Most preferred the one where the film was used for a second press. 😭 I like Teflon myself but like you said, ink, film, pressure and heat all have a much greater effect.
@@charliebrown1006 Hello, something to test as a cover sheet for the SECOND (or finishing press) can also be a blank t shirt. This has also proven effective to stamp the fabric weave into the actual transfer. Hope this helps!

Hello, at this time the manufacture produces this in the one size listed: 11.7 in x 16.5 in. Should additional options become available we can look into stocking those as well!

Hey there! Because we cannot cut the sheet into segments the entire T. Seal is to be used every press. If properly conditioned (1:12) this product should last between 300 up to 500 uses:)

Hello, the conditioning of the T. Seal is a one time process you perform before actually using it as a finishing sheet. You will heat your press to 290 F and with a medium firm pressure press the T. Seal by itself for 20 seconds. After that the T. Seal will be 'conditioned' or ready for production usage (1:12)

What happens if you dont condition the new t-seal?
Hello there - conditioning of the T. Seal is listed by the manufacturer as the very first step before actual usage. This one time process is instructed "to ensure best results". Failure to properly condition the T. Seal before may interfere with the products effectiveness to perform it's function properly .
How do I decide on the white or black powder?
Hey there! I would bring in the black hot melting powder if you are experiencing any dye migration with your applied transfers - meaning you are able to see the color of the fabric through the transferred design. Both will apply the transfers to your apparel items the same way:)

Hi, thanks for watching. The hand feel is certainly improved by using this product -once the one time 'conditioning' is performed on the sheet you should get between 350-500 uses so long as we do not exceed the max temp of 290F
This thing is a scam. If you press any DTF a 2nd time for at least 5 seconds you'll eliminate the plastic feel. The DTF will show the fibers of the material as well. I can't believe everyone is falling for this lol. Press for 15 seconds....remove the transfer and let it cool for a few seconds and press it again for 5 seconds. No temp change needed.

So you have to drop your temp in between each second press? That’s a whole lot of time and money wasted. Impress orders of 100-300 t shirts all the time. So unless you can press the first press on all of them first then go back and do all the second presses, idk if this is a good thing. Also if your getting good dtf prints it’s gonna last a long time anyways.
Hey there, great question. In a production setting you would not want to be constantly changing the temperature for each piece back and forth. The quality of the film we offer can be finishing pressed after the initial application/peel no problem. When you say "getting" prints: are you producing in house or outsourcing?
Does the T seal remove the paper feel on DTF prints?
Hey there! The T Seal does improve the hand of the transfer by further pressing into the actual fibers of the garment. Is there a certain film you are getting a more paper feel with?

Dang, I have not seen that before. Was the T. Seal properly conditioned before use how we discussed in this video? Also, the product does have a shelf life of approx 300-500 uses which can affect performance?
@@AAPrintSupplyCo it was conditioned first, it's brand new, my first 5 shirts look similar to vinyl when it lifts off the carrier and is shiny in that area.

This thing is a scam guys. If you press any DTF a 2nd time for at least 5 seconds you'll eliminate the plastic feel. The print will feel like its apart of the shirt. The DTF will show the fibers of the material as well. I can't believe everyone is falling for this lol. The side by side comparison showed a slightly more faded print. That can be duplicated during the printing process. Nothing to be impressed by.
Press for 15 seconds....remove the transfer and let it cool for a few seconds and press it again for 5 seconds. No temp change needed. The only thing you need is your teflon sheet just like with any other dtf print.
Hey there. First I will say I would never advise the use of a teflon sheet for DTF as it can leave a shiny gloss to the print that will leave in the wash. Parchment, silicone coated sheets or even a blank t-shirt would be preferred for the final press.
As far as the T. Seal is concerned, we consider ourselves an authority in the field of direct to film. When new products become available in the market for this print method we will not only supply them to our customers but cover them with educational content such as this. I would not call it scam as it does work exactly as advertised and a deeper bond into the fibers due to the coating on the T. Seal is great for those who prioritize washability with the goods they sell.
You are so uninformed. The t-seal sheet is not a scam. It makes a huge difference to the look and feel of the finish of the DTF print. I’ve been using these for years and I’ll promise you it makes a difference. Don’t comment on something you haven’t used. Also parchment paper is the next best thing to use for the 2nd press. Teflon for the second press? Is that a joke. I’d love to see some of your prints. 😂
