    Fun detail the two Scorpenek annihilator droid seen in this chapter are from legends the extended universe which is now non canon. Summed up their pretty much a larger version of the Colicoids' droideka, both used at the time of the Clone Wars first appearing in The Phantom Menace. The design of the three-legged droidekas were modelled after the Colicoid in their own image which explains why the CIS had such alien looking droids and vehicles with many of them being based on different species or animals. "We don't know what it was, sir, but it took out three platoons. We can't let the Colicoids get these things offplanet." ― Republic Advanced Recon Commando. These droids give off massive HK-Tank vibes the Skynet battle tanks from the Terminator 1 and 2 just replace the tank tread with those robotic legs and you'll have a very similar robot.
    This chapter overall i enjoyed by far his best episode in the series. The season overall I would've done some things different like having the first few episodes be Boba's time with the sand people three episodes sounds good then an episode centred around Fett stealing back the Slave 1 with the next episode showcasing him getting information on his armour which links to Mando Season 2 showing us how he found Mando in the first place something the show skipped over. We then see Boba's point of view when tracking the Mandalorian which would make for a fun change of view.
    The next episode picks up after Fett leaves Mando in Season 2 (As we know already what happened in the show with Boba showing up in Mando Season 2) this being when Boba starts his crime family journey going to Jabba's palace followed by a more fleshed out version of what we saw in the show. A good 13 episodes 40 to 60 minutes in total to flesh out more of the series. No idea what the behind the scenes were like but you can tell by watching Roberts episodes that these were filmed last i would say maybe at the time of heavy covid which affected alot of the production.
    Cad Bane should've been introduced much earlier with early chapters hinting at an old bounty hunter building his introduction up until we see him midway through the season instead of the 2nd to the last chapter. But yeah mixed on the series overall if there's ever a season 2 I hope they look at the feedback from fans and improve on what didn't work. High hopes for the Obi Wan show and Mando Season 3 the directors i trust.
    1:46 Nothing wrong with not knowing a certain character. Star Wars you can watch in any order you want these little re-introductions are great built to introduce the character to people who haven't watched the animated shows or read any of the novels or comic's while also being a big reveal for people who do know the characters works both ways. If you watch in order of timeline Cad Bane shows up in like EP 51 i believe while release order it's Season 1 EP 22 much earlier but out of order.

    BTW, that small indentation in the top left of Boba's helmet came from a shot from Cad Bane. You need to watch Clone Wars, Rebels, and Bad Batch. Besides learning about Cad Bane, you'll get a ton of more Obi Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Yoda, Count Dooku, Padme, Emperor Palpatine, Mace Windo, Darth Maul, Bo-Katan, C-3PO, R2, Boba, Jabba, etc. With regards to Rebels, you'll get to meet Ezra Bridger, Chopper, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Kanan Jarrus, Agent Kallus and a bunch of others along w/ some of the OG clones like Rex. Some will be coming back into play in D+ Star Wars shows like Ahsoka. The only real downside to Clone Wars is that fucking Jar Jar Binks is in some episodes and pulls the same 3 Stooges bullshit to wreck his way through said episodes. I think that Lucas must have put a fucking Jar Jar poison pill in some Star Wars contracts that forced Dave Filoni to include him in Clone Wars.

    "This is the first time I actually want to hear him speak." You and me both, Larissa. 😁 Oh, and don't feel bad about not having watched Clone Wars yet....there are still some of us who haven't, but I definitely will. I enjoyed your reactions, especially your emotions toward Grogu, and you have a new subscriber!

    They nerfed the Scorpenek Annihilator Droids bro, there’s no way they went down like that. Just a single one of them is enough to decimate dozens of AT-TEs, plot armor’s too strong

    Hello Larissa, what came to mind for me with Grogu's choice between Jedi or Mandalorian, is one thing that Luke said to him in Grogu's consideration to his choice. That what was a short time for him, Grogu, was a Life Time for someone else !

    • @TakeasRealm
      @TakeasRealm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      exactly. grogu still has over 800(!) years to become a jedi if he wants to, but he only got NOW to be with his dadalorian because Din/Mando is already 40-ish so he can spent the next 50-60 years (who knows) with his dad and afterwards he can still search for jedi training (although i believe he will inherit the darksaber anyway)

    Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard

    In my opinion, I think Grogu made the wrong decision in returning back to Din Djarin. I understand why he chose Din Djarin, but the Mandalorian never taught Grogu anything and Grogu had his way with him. Whereas he would be trained to become a “Great Jedi” by “The Greatest Jedi Master”, Luke Skywalker. Luke was not only teaching him about the ways of the force, but discipline and knowledge as well; “Do not try. Do.” You can’t say he was mistreating Grogu. We all saw how kind and patient Luke was with him. It’s a shame that in the flashback, the Jedi fought to the bitter end protecting the youngling. And after all that, he still chose to forsake the Jedi’s sacrifice. Grogu will still have force powers, but will he be able to control his powers like a disciplined Jedi? Even some of the best Jedi lost fell to their enemies. There was still so much to learn. And who knows, being the first student in Luke’s school, he could have even helped Luke in confronting Kilo Ren and stopping the massacre before it happened…

      Jedi dogma and lack of flexibility destroyed the Jedi.... always some smart ass Sith that was gonna challenge them.... they had weakened themselves with FEAR of attachment.... rather than using it as a test of their character...

    What she says a lot of dumb stuff you can tell she's not a Star Wars fan. I didn't know the rancor was that big she's obviously never watched the first three original movies

    • @LarissaZeeuwe

      You serious? I meant cause I didn't see it was on a building, literally said it, so try to pay better attention when you watch something before commenting crap.
      If I hadn't watched the original movies, how would I even know any of the characters and why would I have a tattoo of Leia on my arm? Bit weird to make assumptions like this.
