Cad Bane is an amazing character first appearing in The Clone Wars episode "Hostage Crisis" Season 1 Episode 22 which aired on March 20th 2009. Hostage Crisis was set in 21 BBY two years before Revenge of the Sith and with the Mando and Book of Boba taking place in around 9 ABY this puts 30 years between Cads introduction in The Clone Wars and his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett making him around 70 years of age. He has appeared throughout the Clone Wars with his last appearance in the show being in 2012. Cad Bane is regarded as the best Bounty Hunter of the Clone Wars era he's pretty much the Boba Fett of the Clone Wars in terms of reputation and skill. Hostage Crisis in timeline order would be episode number 51 so it will take a while until you get to him while release order it's episode 22.
The gunslinger was Cad Bane Boba Fett's Bounty Hunter rival during the Clone Wars and Bad Batch he was 2nd best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy next to Jango Fett before he died. The dent in Boba Fett's helmet came from Cad Bane.

Cad Bane actually took Boba under his wing after his father(Jango Fett) was killed. Boba learned a lot from Cad Bane, eventually the relationship went sour.

Cad Bane is the "Angel Eyes" to Boba's "The Man with no Name."
I highly recommend clone wars rebels and the bad batch. This is a Dave filoni and a John favreau universe and it is expansive. All of these shows are going to weave together there's a bigger picture and we're just getting started. We've got an ahsoka series coming and Obi-Wan series coming. I guarantee you this tapestry will be woven. Patience my young Padawan.

@@andyrobin7196 It hasn't been outright stated in the movies, but it has been heavily implied on several occasions that it's a form or narcotics. Go deeper into the lore with comic books, novels and other shows and it is confirmed that spice is a colloquial term for certain recreational drugs.
@@tehdipstick 99% of star wars fans dont read the comics or novels, it hasnt been explained in the movies so most people dont know what it is (as we saw with this reactor)
First time watching, I honestly thought it was something hiding in sand.
You really have to watch the entire Filoni-verse before the Kenobi and the Ahsoka series. That means Clone Wars, Rebels and the Bad Batch :)
Clone Wars is the longest one but the best, you should watch it in chronological order, not in release order

They have 45 years of nostalgia and lore to use and they're using it all brilliantly. Us old farts from 1977 and you young people from this new generation now have something really special to share and it's all just so amazing. This isnt the island from the sequels. It could be the planet from the flashbacks in Last Jedi but i think its a new planet we never heard of yet

Glad, I'm not the only one who didn't watch The Clone Wars yet. Still had goosebumps like never before, when Cad Bane showed up. 😅

I have completely changed my view of the Jedi creed about having no attachments. One cannot do what the Jedi are called to do and have attachments. It is not that they are not allowed to love, but their love must be a sacrificial love for all who are in need. To do this, they must put away selfish desires in favor of the greater good; thus, they are called to the highest calling - to be servants of all. No one is forced to become a Jedi; so, if anyone does not have the passion for this calling, they must walk away and live a conventional life. The fact that only one Mandalorian was able to follow the Jedi path indicates that it is not an easy path to take. Few individuals are willing to love others this way: putting everyone's needs above their own. As much as some fans seem to be angry at Ahsoka for talking Mando out of seeing Grogu, she was doing what was best for Grogu; so, he could make a clear-headed choice between attachment to Mando and devotion to the Jedi path.
Mandalorian show means it is mainly about Mandalorian.
Boba Fett show means it is mainly about Boba Fett.
They will mix everything. 4-th season of Mandalorian will be a final one and it will be not called 4-th season but Mandalorian something something. Probably everyone will be in it.

This Dave Feloni bringing in everything. This episode with R2, Grogu, an excellent Luke CGI actually now canon knowing Asoka, Cad Bane... This was crazy. Lucas Film hired a TH-camr to improve Luke... I think it worked so well. :)
You need to literally drop everything and watch Clone Wars, Rebels, and Bad Batch. You'll get to meet Cad Bane in Clone Wars.
the people in Grogu' memories was the 501st attacking coruscant after order 66, and the jedi with green blade in the front was a master named "Cin Drallig" from wookiepedia ->

In an unfinished episode of Clone Wars, Cad Bane was the one that put the dent in Boba Fett's helmet.

Luke is honest with Grogu. He doesn't hide the Manalorian's gift, though he fears Grogu will turn to the Mandalorian. He offers him an alternative in the form of Joda's lightsaber to sway him to the side of the Jedi. But even then he doesn't deny the possibility that Grogu will never see the Mandalorian again due to his slow aging process. This is real Truth.
However, I fear that Grogu will decide against the Jedi, which is the only way for me to explain the story line in the last three Star War films.

Go with Mando!! I have always hated the Jedi philosophy of no attachments. Bullshit. The Catholic church did the same thing by making priests take a vow of celibacy so their loyalties wouldn't be divided, again, bullshit. Everyone has fear, everyone has anger just because you feel it does not mean you will turn to the darkside. It is how you handle your fear and anger. On this point I think Yoda and Jedi dogma was full of shit.

It has been a little disappointing. It seems they didn't have enough content to fill 7 episodes so basically borrowed 2 from another IP. Depending on how the finale goes, it may be the case that the 2 most highly rated episodes are basically The Mandalorian 2.5.
Mandalorian season 2 had a ton of time dedicated to other characters including Boba & Luke & Fennic & Bo & Ashoka and more. They wisely didn't spend an entire episode or two without the main character but if you combine the screentime they spent on other characters , I'm sure it's gonna be ridiculously long . Many critics had a problem with it in Mando as well . I prefer to look at these shows as the Dave & Favreau Universe not as solo character projects .
For the best experience if your trying to be an actual Star Wars fan and not some guppy youtuber just trying to get likes and subscribers. Actually watch Star Wars properly. Know the lore and history. Posers suck. I’m sure you’re a hardcore fan of something and you see posers all the time. Just saying. 🤷♂️
