Loved this show when I was a kid
Quantum Leap has an episode that contains one of my favorite scenes of all time. I really wonder how it will hold up to someone seeing it for the first time now.

I have also been to the-Netherlands many times since a small kid in the 80's. One of my favs when I go there is to one of my fav theme parks not just in Europe but the world-Efteling 😀

The Indiana Jones comparison is apt, as this show did … borrow a lot from pop culture. Some episodes seem to be taken whole cloth from other sources, although slightly altered, but there are a lot of coincidences of the show having things that look or play out like they’re from other sources, or at least highly influenced by them.
I mean looks aren’t everything, the prof he leaped into could have been tapping her need or desire for someone to see her as something more than her body as her boyfriend does. Using the soppy words of English lit she seems so enamoured with.
