Maybe you can release it still? Bonus material or something? It will give you something else to drop to the algorithm’s delight and I’m sure we will all love to see it, nonetheless
This video is the best I have seen covering this topic and this concept as a whole. I'm really pleased this video was made and I want to thank you for doing the work to show evidence and covering the story. The art of storytelling is getting lost to politics but if we hold them accountable we can defend that same art!
Sydney made a 33 minute video stating that women can’t write good Star Wars stories because according to her women can only write stories because they are low key feminists and that means they really don’t like Star Wars …. OK… And George Lucas sold this intellectual property YEARS ago and yet Disney STILL is bringing lore and expanded content into the stories and most of if not ALL of the male characters are Jedi and/or main characters alongside the ONE central female character. Yeah… ok. Thank you Sydney for telling us all what we’re supposed to watch because YOU said so.
I've only ever gotten eye-rolling from women when I admit I was/am (??) a Star Wars nut. But the Force is female now. And up is actually down now, apparently.
Imagine there's a boy playing in a sandbox. And there's a girl next to it that's jumping rope. The girl turns to the boy and says, "hey can I play with you?" And the boy, excitedly responds, "you want to play in the sandbox with me? Sure!" So the girl gets in the sandbox and immediately starts jumping rope. The rope destroys the castle the boy was working on, flings sand and cat turds everywhere and prevents the boy from trying to make anything new. The boy, with tears in his eyes, asks, "why are you jumping rope in the sandbox?" And the girl responds, "WHY DO YOU HATE WOMEN?" That's pretty much everything in nerd culture the past few years
The Disney feminists are so damn clueless. Princess Leia was the real hero of the original trilogy. From George Lucas himself, "She is a senator. She graduated from college. She's a very smart person, very much in control. And she's a good shot. And the two guys were - one was naive and didn't know anything, had no knowledge. The other one thought he knew everything, but he didn't know anything, either. She is the one that knew everything. She was the one that was driving the whole story... When you've lined them up, she's the main character, for God's sake.”
If Leai wasn't involved pretty much no story points would be possible. Though most of them were background characters the rebels were the backbone of the whole series and Leai was the one who was the key to getting them moving. She was essentially the final say in the alliance and without her Luke and Han would've been two bumbling idiots trying to fight the empire with no backup other than 2 droids and Chewbacca
Leai was a damsel in distress that led 2 bumbling idiots into the trash compactor. R2D2 saved their asses and safety carried the death star plans to the rebels. I'm not sure if R2D2 is binary or non binary but he's definitely gender neutral. Did I say he? 🤷🏻♂️
George Lucas showed us in his original sequel trilogy script that it ends with Leia saving the galaxy, becoming Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Senate and apparently he makes it clear that Leia is the Chosen One, bringing peace/balance to the force.
WNBA... at least before Clark. At least women's soccer figured out they had to appeal to young girls who'd grow up into adults to support them. You have to create a fanbase, not demand one or take one over.

It's so refreshing to see a woman who fully sees the slandering of a beloved franchise. A female acquaintance of mine conducted a shaming campaign at her workplace to apply peer pressure to some male colleagues so they would allow her to join their after-hours darts club. When they relented and she attended her first meeting she didn't find it very enjoyable and never attended another meeting. All that shaming for what?
The fact that we all know what a "shaming campaign" is,is one of the things wrong with this world. My father,if I dug him up to tell him, wouldn't understand that and he has been dead for 22 years. How times have changed.😢

It wasn't a Disney episode. It was a culture war episode. Yes, it had a few scenes about Disney, but that wasn't all it was. And the episode was taking the mick out of *both sides* of the "culture war" ("woke", anti-woke, etc).
Part of the episode satires what's going on at Disney, and how all the wokeness is the reason for DISNEYS latest/most recent failures. (2023) via Kathleen Kennedy. In that shortened summary (obviously much more is going on, and the explanations are nuts, it is South Park). But the initial jist of the mockery is on point!! Lol that's all I was saying
@@IllisiaAdams The episode focused heavily on Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger . . . and while it did take shots at all sides of the issue, Disney was clearly the primary target.
I'm a man, but from what I've seen and heard, women dare to speak up about abortion rights, they dare to press charges after being raped, they dare to go for jobs in traditionally male-dominated areas, they dare to speak up for themselves. All good things. :)
How to recover? Step 1, fire Kathleen Kennedy. Step 2, purge everyone she hired at Lucasfilm. Step 3, hire people who *care* about Star Wars, though not the insane fans. Step 4, concentrate on writing *good* stories.
@@thomaszanzal7846na. definitely very hard pass on that. The op’s idea was perfect. Conservatives will do the same thing as the people currently in charge but in the opposite direction, or just restrict any new ideas all together. Just need focus on good stories made within the lore of the show
Lucas - it's a story about the perils of selfishness and authoritarianism. Abrams - we want it to appeal to women too. Hedland - we want to alienate men and make them uncomfortable. Star Wars - where did all the fans go?
The fans want to complain regardless of quality. Empire strikes back was hated on release and this cycle will never end. I've seen people complaining that the jedi were "too mean" in Acolyte 💀
@@CT-1975 Nah the acolyte just makes no fucking sense and you have to actually be overdosing on Ketamine to enjoy it. That shooting scene is just burned into my memory. No way she misses, and the effects look that terrible, as a several million dollar budget. No, my main gripe with the films is always what is up with the subtly coded incest.
@@alreadyblack3341 how does it not make sense. Give examples. Because all the complaints about it making no sense are just people who don't know star wars. Right off the bat we have people complaining that the jedi were too mean and lied. The jedi have always been like that and it's the biggest reason Anakin turned to the dark side. They don't want to believe the sith are back and we see this in the Bane trilogy. The woke stuff, I understand, it can be annoying; but the fans aren't helping at all with that narrative.
Yeah. I never thought anything would make me like Jar Jar, but now if someone made him a wisecracking, womanizing anti-hero, I'd buy Jar Jar ears and T-shirt and sit in the front row.
I thought Jar Jar was a better character for The Clone Wars CG series. That said, the woman who designed Jar Jar also designed the pathetic tiny elephant headed alien that was inserted into the original cantina scene in the special editions. Jar Jar was doomed from the start.
The worst thing that Disney did to Star Wars was canceling the whole Expanded Universe storyline. For decades, books, comics, and video games created so many new characters, extended and developed existing ones, and added so many stories that were waiting to be brought to the silver screen or made into TV series. There were also strong female characters! For example: 1. Mara Jade - the Emperor's Hand and future wife of Luke Skywalker. She is the only character in Star Wars who called Luke a "farmboy" even when he was a Grand Jedi Master :) She is a very well-written and strong character. 2. Admiral Daala - the head of the secret Maw Installation, which played a major role in the later stories of the galaxy. 3. Jaina Solo - the daughter of Leia and Han. Another very strong and complex character who actually defeated her brother Jacen when he became a Sith Lord ruling the galaxy. 4. Abeloth - a super evil and powerful character that was feared even by the Sith Lords. 5. The Witches of Dathomir. 6. The Hapan Empire, ruled by women, led by the strong Tenel Ka. And many, many others. Disney had all of this on the plate and didn't use it. Okay, none of them were LGBT characters. But, for example, making Admiral Daala a lesbian would have been quite easy in storytelling if needed in the new corporate order.
The EU was trash, equally awful to Disney Wars, in fact most of the worst stuff in Disney Wars was lifted straight from the EU. As for it's women: 1: Mara Jade was the OG Mary Sue of Star Wars. She was introduced as holding the semi-official title of Palpatine's Hand...eventhough that was Darth Vader's role in the movies. She worked as an assasin for years, commiting horrible crimes, not unlike Darth Vader, but unlike Darth Vader she was allowed to redeem herself without making any self-sacrifise on her part, and in fact Zahn even tried to argue that she was never really on the Dark side, because she was serving someone else. Everybody from Luke, to Lando to Wedge fell in love with her, even in her 40ies she was so hot, her teenage nephew had a crush on her, whom she constantly flirted with, despite being married to his uncle. She was a garbage character. 2: Admiral Daala?! Seriously? This is where we've gotten? People are nostalgic for freaking Daala? Daala used to be the butt of every joke, even within the same EU fandom, that loved Mara Sue. People used to say she had either slept her way to the top (she was Tarkin's lover, so yeah, turning her into a lesbian would've been yet another moment of diversity over storytelling and faithfully adapting the source) or she had suffered brain damage, in the accident that saw her reassigned to the Maw Installation, because she was that laughably incompetent. Her becoming the leader of the Galactic Alliance in Invincible was widely reviled and mocked, and for good reason, because she had commited horrific crimes, and she hasn't been used in any EU project for years by that point, so it came from literally nowhere. 3: Jaina: Oh boy. She is the main reason Mara Jade is not seen as the Mary Sue she is, because Jaina was even worse. She was arguably the blueprint for Rey. Add in the fact, that she jerked around two guys for over a decade, refusing to choose between them even in her late-20ies, just like she did, when she was a teenager, and they just kept simping for her the entire time. 4: Abeloth: Her backstory is not only a direct contradiction of both the Mortis-arc of TCW and how the Force works accoring to Lucas, it doesn't make sense even with itself, and her novel series was the absolute bottom of the barrel even by EU standards, and the way she's ultimately defeated is utter nonsense. Not to mention, does Abeloth even count as a female, seeing that she is a demon made of smoke, who can create satellites of herself out of any organism, including males? 5: The Witches of Dathomir: oh yeah a backwards clan of misandrists, who kept men as breeding stock, and black widowed/praying mantised them, once they did their duty...How very empowering, without being anything like Disney Wars... 6: Oh yeah, Tenel Ka. The dI_Imb@$$, who fell in love with JINO (Jacen-in-name-only), and gave-up their child for stupid reasons.
@@schustererik83they're not ignorant. Star wars has a huge female fan base. The problem is is that Star wars hasn't aged well because they're so focused on all characters and haven't done a good job incorporating a new storyline. That's the issue. But then they got greedy and wouldn't just in the series.
@user-tr7gv2dl8r they are ignorant for even attempting to do that. . . . .they took a male dominated franchise that already had great representation and fucked it into oblivion, and since, as stated by Kathleen Kennedy herself, over half of those morons were women, the other half were cucks chasing the sent, praying for scraps. George Lucas talked about the dangers of selfish minded people which in the end turn evil, but he did not recognize that he was talking also about one of the persons sitting with him. That finally is his own tragedy.

I support inclusion but I don't think Hollywood understands what inclusion means. I think of inclusion as genders and races are equal, neither is better than the other, they all get equal treatment. but Hollywood seems to think "Oh inclusion, let's make men dumb idiots that need to be saved by women." that Melissa McCarthy Ghostbusters movie is a perfect example. No one, and I mean no one thinks setting up the phones means putting it in a fish tank. They made him dumb for no reason other than "Inclusion! lets make men stupid!" Personally, I think The Super Mario Bros. Movie did it right. Peach lived in The Mushroom Kingdom since she was a kid, she learned from years of experience how to survive. Mario on the other hand was thrown into this world and had to learn on the fly. So it makes sense Peach would be better than Mario. Luke with a bit of training lost his first fight against Vader and lost his hand, but Rey picked up a lightsaber for the first time and arguably won that fight against Kylo. Kylo, a guy who was trained by Luke and a Sith, yet he loses to someone who picked up a lightsaber for the first time? This is not inclusion, it's bad writing.
We're not sexist, we love Leia, Padme/Queen Amidala and Jen Urso. We're not racist, we love Lando Calrissian, Mace Windu, Cassian Andor and Saw Gerrera. We hate movies that are more focused on being woke than having a great story and that are appealing more to the minority instead of the majority of Star Wars fans. You know the fans who've stood by the franchise for decades and have grown up with some of the some of the best female heroes in film history. Give us something that we can ALL enjoy, not just that little minority you're trying to appeal to, most likely that's never watch a Star Wars movie in their life.
You say that but then the fandom was enraged over John boyega’s introduction. A lot of sw fans don’t want non white males to wield light sabers in the forefront.
@GyvonJante let s get one thing straight, ppl were not mad that a black actor wielded a lightsaber it was that a stormtrooper with little to no prior history in the movie picked up one of the best known lightsabers(anakin's) and did some moves with it. The whole context was missed on most sw fans because Disney went on a different direction than what was built by lucas. Even the actor said in interviews that he was promised a bigger and more impactful role than he got. Sure there are some racist ppl liking sw, but they are just a small fraction of the audience.
Star Wars has become horrible character arcs, horrible writing, and NO character progression. Disney is saying ACCEPT this or else "you are racist etc." They killed Star Wars. (FYI I am part of the female fan base pre-Disney.)
What's even crazier is the entire missing era of Star wars aka the Old Republic Era. Which has strong females and interesting lore! LIKE BRO DISNEY IS JUST IGNORING THE OLD REPUBLIC ERA LIKE A FORGOTTEN CHILD!
@@TVmantitan779 They even missed the post endor period where Isard takes control of the Empire and we learn about Mara Jades existence who are both strong female characters from the books. Even the Lady Winter isn't mention in ANY of Disney's stuff (Leia's right hand woman and a great Rebel asset in her own right who gets multiple mentions in Rogue Squadron books).
If you look at this with a pure logical perspective, to weaponize victimization is a efficient tool, you are basically gaslighting the audience into accepting your product, if you don't, it means you are all the "phobes" and "isms". I think it's fascinating how this trend was able to stay relevant for so long, considering the fanaticism involved, I understand social media is sadly here to stay, so you take advantage of it, milk it for money... but the results are just so ugly, people who never read a social study in their lives, discussing "politics" on Twitter, lol it's ridiculous. When any sane individual from the "outside", looking at the social media bubbles waging war with their keyboards, they really believe there's a "message" and so on, it's genuinely sad. Luckily social media is niched, there's 300 million active accounts on Twitter monthly, that is a insignificant number who doesn't reflect reality at all. I think the best solution is to just ignore these depressive bubbles, they have to seek psychological help, the trend ran it's course, it's time to be apprehensive with real problems in the real world... artificial intelligence will be the next trend, this can be really scary
They’re making it for themselves and not the audience…that’s the issue. I’m in the adult beverage industry. But I can’t drink alcohol - allergies. Even then, I’m not the customer. We don’t make it for ourselves.
The real question is what audience it is they are making it for. From what I have seen, LGBT folks also dislike forced tokenism in media. Good characters can be of any sexuality or gender and people will love them, but never if sexuality or gender is their defining trait.
They can target the feminists and SJWs if they want but they won't watch Star Wars even when its catered to them. They don't want Star Wars they just don't want us to have it either.
I’m working right now and listening to this in the background. When you quoted Leslie Headland’s “reason” for hiring that person with the unfortunate last name, I literally gagged. Not exaggerating. In stark contrast, modern day "writers" can only write about "the patriarchy", LGBT-whatever, The Message and how men MUST be humiliated and cucked every second they're on screen, in order to let cardboard-cutout, theoretical women, "shine".

I hate how that apathy transferred over to characters I used to love like Ahsoka. Every subsequent live action appearance she had made her exponentially more bland and boring to watch.

Yes, I agree, but it needs a whole generation. 10 years aren't enough, I think, it needs 20 years, but in the meantime, they should try to remaster episode 1 - 6 again, and hope, kids at this time watch and like it and stick around until Star Wars comes back. They should hope, people forget at least most of the things, Disney produced. Otherwise, the franchise is dead 🤷♂️
My whole family went together to see the premier of the original Star Wars; we were all blown away and loved it. It had absolutely nothing to do with representation. It had to do with an incredibly rich and creative world and story, that no one had ever seen before - it never crossed the minds of my quite progressive family that Star Wars was only for men. It’s an insane notion.
I'm so sick of those feminists claiming women action heroines are a recent thing. Old movies had plenty of women action heroines, one that comes to mind is the Annie Oakley series. She was portrayed as smart, she could shoot, and ride a horse. In my opinion the reason they don't like or acknowledge women heroine in the old screen is because they don't fit the mould of modernity. They were feminine.
@@CyberDustCapsuled Hell guys, Captain Hillers(Will Smith) wife Jasmine was a better, stronger character than any of the ones we have today, and she was a stripper. See- "Independence Day", 1996
They are also alienating women who already were Star Wars fans. Myself included. I have loved Star Wars since I was a little girl. I have watched the movies, played the video games, and read the books. I have purposefully not watched The Acolyte because I know it will make me both sad and angry that they are trying to destroy something that has meant so much to me.
Same I can’t understand this toxic presentation of feminism, especially when it’s being pandered to us by the excessively wealthy owners of corporations and media trained celebs who rarely share original thoughts. they’re intentionally irritating the original fans and wrecking the fun of Star Wars. Completely lost the plot.
This is what kills me. These people are supposedly champions for 'women's agency' while at the same time dictating what is, and isn't, for women. I guess people like you either don't exist or have internalized misogyny or something.
I got livid at 3:38. I'm not a big Star Wars fan specifically, but she said "the world of scifi and fantasy in general." Can you imagine enjoying something, a thing that brought you joy and comfort for a good portion of your life, to then have a tourist come in and tell you that it was never a "safe space" for you? The immediate thought that came into my head was "How dare you." Unlike this girl, I grew up in a time and environment where being a nerd meant the world of scifi and fantasy was sometimes the ONLY space you could feel comfortable in. I'd wager the reason it never felt like a "safe space" for her is because it wasn't a space, period, for her. (As if this girl is saying her own original thoughts and not just spouting talking points others told her to say)
Hey Shady nice to see my favorite intellectual in the comments. For me Star Wars, Star Trek and Lord of the Rings were my escape growing up as a kid and how me and my mom bonded because she's also a massive nerd. For me this stuff was my only safe space and to see all of my favorite franchises go through this corporate bull crap just hurts.
You said it, man. It sucks majorly to be a woman Sci-fi and Fantasy fan nowadays. Beforehand I could just talk for hours with a bunch of other nerds in our little corners, and it felt comfortable! I felt safe and welcomed, and no one cared I was a girl except for one or two dumb comments from some teenage boys. The only time anyone judged each other was when someone brought up a really badly thought out conspiracy or saying they liked a character everyone hated. Like Jar Jar Binks in SWs. Nowadays people are instantly wary when I tell them I'm a SWs fan that also happens to be a woman. They expect me to be vapid, narcissistic, and super political. But I just want to watch cool space-sword duels and badass dudes in armor blowing shit up.
These people remind me of the popular girls in high school who if you weren't part of the crowd they defined as "cool" might maybe allow you to hang around the edges of their friend group. As long as you did what you were told to, didn't ask for anything and were useful to them. Soon as you breached any of those terms you were dumped on the side of the road till you'd learnt your lesson and/or were useful to her. Then you were expected to be grateful and forget walking the twenty kilometres home in the rain.
Before the prequels were released, I skipped school with my best friend to watch the remastered versions of the original trilogy at the movies. We both were 16 year old girls from Argentina. The most girly girls as girls can be, and still Star Wars fans all the way through. Later, we also skipped school to catch the pequels at the movies as well, obviously. That was Star Wars for me. That is the only Star Wars I will ever watch. Disney Star Wars is no Star Wars. Ps. How can someone be non binary and gay at the same time?🤨
On your last point, if you're non-binary and gay, does that mean that only date non-binary people? Then you're being a contradiction when you date people who are male or female and not non-binary.
Is Amandla also gay or are you confusing her and Hedley with the eyebrows? The way I understand, Amandla is a girl claiming to be binary and Hedley is a gay woman.
You can watch anything before the sale. The animated series are really good, the video games can be hit or Miss but a lot of excellent, EXCELLENT games like KOTOR, Battlefield, rogue squadron, Pod-Racer, even the Force Unleashed is fun if a bit messy for the cannon. There truly was an expansive extended universe to lose yourself in. It was great growing up in the 90’s-2000’s as a Star Wars fan. I’ve been a staunch prequel defender since well before the Disney movies started coming out. Yeah, the dialogue is clunky. Metacloriens are weird. But it’s nothing that egregious, truly, and they’re beautiful films visually with a lot of heart and the same magic that made the original trilogy so special. The Star Wars FEELING is totally missing from the Disney output, with Rogue One being one of the very few bright spots, season one of Mando was pretty good, and I even thought Solo was fun. They go anywhere near Jedi and they fuck it all up. Why? Because the only thing they see in the Jedi is their power, and since they’re the centerpiece of the original story of Anakin and Luke they’re the way fans get to learn about the universe. So the Jedi therefor get the most butchered by the writers’ intentional, explicit, braindead and hamfisted political messaging. Some nobody rebellion team without any special powers who all die at the end? “Well if they all die I guess we can have a strong man… he’ll definitely die though, right?!”
I remember back when ppl got fired for messing up and losing money. When 90% of your products get constant hate and don’t get nearly as much money as they could, just from a business standpoint, it’s time for a change.
They aren’t losing money, they make it from blackrock investments. Who of course gets their money by buying up all the single family homes to turn the people of the world into permanent renters. Which is why you know they actually just want control
...They didn't lose money. The worst you could say is that they haven't recouped the cost of the Star Wars IP yet. But they've profited $2.8 billion since buying the Star Wars IP from Lucasfilm for $4 billion. The thing is, the IP hasn't gone away -- it's still a multi billion dollar asset that is able to produce profitable entertainment.
@@AUniqueHandleName444 most of that money was made during a time when star wars was still liked and people had expectations. now the first reaction most people have to a new star wars show or movie is disappointment. the ip is probably worth less now then it was before they bought it. i doubt shows like the acolyte, ahsoka, obi wan and so on made a profit and they will make even less over time with every bad show they make since the reputation is just getting worse. even if they havent lost money overall, its still sad that they didnt even recoup what they spent on it after milking the ip this much. star wars should be way more profitable than it is right now and the people in charge should be fired.
Agreed. There was a time when, as an employee one was a harm to the business and rude, apathetic and hostile to customers, one was invited to find a place, as someone once said, in the “unenjoymentment” line.
It’s 2024 and the actors still come out saying “Star wars is patriarchal” Why do these people think insulting your customers is the best approach? I’ve worked quite a few jobs in my life, never saw the approach of just insulting the customer before. Usually I’m instructed to help customers, not insult them.
@@capenjckpeople who can't even run a hot dog stand and hate hot dogs buy a successful hot dog cart. You order a hotdog, get a bowl of imitation vegan gruel instead. You say, where's my hotdog? They insist that IS your hotdog. You give it back and ask for a refund. They ask why you hate them, is it because you're afraid, ignorant and intolerant? When you say you're never doing business with them again if this is how they're going to treat you as a customer, they scream at you. They don't want your business and they don't need you as a customer! They claim that they were never allowed to have a hotdog cart or to eat hotdogs before because the hotdog cart owners were all just evil and hateful. So...y'know, it's now their turn, but those are GOOD things now, and it's both right and neccessary when THEY do it. Hotdogs aren't for you anymore! But you should still buy them anyways. They deserve to have a successful hotdog cart, because of their past "injuries" from hotdogs and hotdog cart owners.
There are men in it. That makes it patriarchal. Truly eliminating patriarchy would require eliminating every single male from the story. Which may happen: note that in group photos of the makers of The Acolyte, there are no males present.
Remember when Diablo was announced to move to your phone instead of making something on the computer? That left more of the same without the reverse sexism.
@@weedpuff "Do you guys not have phones?" As always in these cases, they've already made their plans and put them into action. Now they just look for ways to justify it, or to shame and silence opposition.
Awesome takes. Good job. You are correct. These writers and directors simply do not have any knowledge or respect for the source material. They had one job. All they had to do was take the stuff that was already written in legends and faithfully bring it to the screen and they’d be rolling in cash and praise. Set made a very stinky bed and we all either have to sleep in it or disengage with a franchise we hold, dear to our hearts.
As a woman and a Star Wars fan, I am disgusted by the agenda pushing everywhere I look. When the only thing a woman can say about her character is, "She's a powerful leader... she's a powerful leader!" That tells you how shallow it all really is. I watched one episode of the Acolyte and stopped halfway through episode two because of the awful writing, the boring story line, and the overall cringe at the agendas on display. I am all for having great female characters and leads, but they have to have substance. "Powerful leader!" is not substance. Don't even get me started on the blatant racism and sexism happening in Hollywood. I'm so sick of virtue signaling in my media. One person's virtue is not everyone's, so stop forcing it down my throat, please. I will be sticking to my old films and shows, where entertainment was the goal, and good stories were king.
You nailed it for me as well. I've been a female fan since the original films. Did these current women Showrunners even watch them? There was diversity (hello Billy D Williams for example) and women leaders (Leia) most of all there were GOOD storylines and good writing...and originality. These new abominations have none of that.
What annoys me the most is that traits are handled as personality. The "powerful leader" you refer to or the "independant strong woman" are these. They are represented and played out as a whole personality for a character. Completly ignoring that these are traits which are the result of several different aspects of a character but are neither shown nor explained. A "powerful leader" is not a trait you just have, it is the result of many factors that need to be shown. Hence the lack of substance you talked about. Ellen Ripley from (especially) Aliens is a great example for this. Competence, perseverance, confidence. Motherly instinct and the drive to protect and overcome fear to do so. All that is shown, all that makes her a leader in that situation. Not once she had to call herself that....
I find it funny how they think that simply repeating "strong powerful leader" over and over again means they don't need to actually show it... Good storytelling ca say that a thing is true, but more importantly show that it is true. I'm reminded of "Any man who must say, "I am the king" is no true king."
I'm surprised anyone even bothered watching it as soon as I heard kk was in charge and that lesbian epstein lady was running it I was like yeah no thanks
My creative writing teacher once told me the secret to writing characters well is simple: 1-Define their personality and psychology. 2-Define their role in the narrative. 3-Based on their role and personality, define their character arc and how it relates to the work's overall theme. 4-Once all the above is done, you can decide their gender and preferences. This is the best way to write good, well-rounded characters regardless of their gender, skin color, sexual orientation, etc. Modern writers in Hollywood have forgotten the basics of good storytelling and character writing in general. Wouldn't have a problem with them making female-centric stories and inserting diversity into this franchise, if they had the basics of good narrative and character writing down. However since they clearly don't know what they're doing, I've pretty much washed my hands of Star Wars and Disney at this point.
And that's the issue. They don't. Look at Ripley from Aliens! She was well thought out, was strong, kind, and most importantly, STUMBLED. She had to grow, she had to learn. She felt real.
They don't care about writing good stories, they care about their propaganda. They don't WANT Star Wars to be good, they want it to be a vehicle to teach white, straight, sweaty nerds in their mothers basements about how much better women are than them, just for being born the right gender. That is what those "writers" genuinely believe. Also just because I feel like someone will misunderstand: I'm not saying that Star Wars fans are sweaty nerds living in their moms basements, I'm saying that the people at Lucas Film think so.
Carrie Fisher complained to Lucas during the first two films that Leia only wore shapeless and frumpy clothing, and she (who had quite the bod back then) wanted to flaunt her attractiveness. Slave Leia was Lucasfilm acquiescing to her and appreciating the female form in Star Wars... so of course the pink-haired, 300# wamaloos of the time (and since) objected to it in the name of all women.
Ah yes, sci fi is a dangerous place for people of color, especially Star Wars. One of the most popular prequel characters, Mace Windu, is literally played by Samuel L. Jackson a black man. Not to mention he got to pick his lightsaber color and George Lucas went about finding a way to fit it into the lore. Unreal.
Talk about a waste of talent. Samuel L. Jackson was so restrained in the role of Mace Windu, the only time he was really able to show how good of an actor he is was when he executed Jango Fett.
@@mikeguilmette776I don’t know Mace Windu still holds a special place in my heart as a character. He could “manage” both sides of the force, which if you think about it it was kinda badass. I’m using “manage” loosely, I know it was more channeling the opponent dark force but technically he’d still be using the dark force.
I can't help but see this as paradoxical sexism, by labeling classical Star Wars "a boys thing". I was born female, still a female and there was absolutely no one stopping me from being interested in "boys things" when I grew up. These type of women are just seeing sexism where there was none based on their dumb and outdated gendersteretypeing. There is no law forbidding girls from liking stereotype boy stuff or vice versa, and it absolutely does not mean they are gay if they do.
Hi Mary, most of them are just grifters, taking advantage of a trend to line their pockets with money; they do not really believe in anything, except lining their pockets with money.
Exactly. Middle aged woman here. I exclusively watch Japanese anime, and read Japanese manga because I now hate the modern western “entertainment”. Japanese stuff is so much more creative. My favorite genre is shonen, which literally means for young boys, but it’s full of action, fantasy, comedy but not much romance- exactly what I like. There’s genres for young girls (shojo), middle aged men (seinen) and middle aged women (josei), but I like shonen. Now we’re starting to see western companies come after Japanese media, trying to pressure them into changing to meet western DEI standards, with companies like Netflix and Sweet Baby Inc trying to strongarm them into changing to supposed “modern western tastes” and ideals. 🙄 Blackstone just bought out a Japanese digital manga company. I fear for the downfall of Japanese manga and anime. 😢 (I’m from the US and used to live in Japan btw.)

My mother was the biggest Star Wars fan in our family. She would put the original movies on for us as kids. Me and my siblings never became huge fans of the franchise, however she still loved those movies. She never once made any political statements about the Star Wars movies. She just just enjoyed the storyline and the characters.
Why are these people so obsessed with the concept of "safety". What does it mean? Like how are you unsafe at this very moment. Amandla comes from a rich family and is a hollywood actor. She is highly privileged and better off than 99.9% of us. In what reality does being in this position make someone feel unsafe? way does she feel unsafe? unsafe to do what? to be what?
X (for some X) is 'unsafe' because somewhere somewhen some activist told them it was 'unsafe' for some-unrelated-person (precisely how is never revealed; it's all about feels) that said activist was speaking for. It's like asking mexican-americans and spanish speakers what they think of 'latinx': none of them use the word and they all think it's stupid. The whole 'safety' schtick is just for activists and Karen-types to virtue signal about to show how Do Goodly they are.
It's the internal struggle with one's sinful nature. Those without a Christian worldview, (the understanding that all are sinful), believe that there's nothing wrong with themselves and think that any criticism of their own actions is an attack.
It's precisely because she grew up with ridiculous privilege and wealth that she has such a skewed sense of "safety." She is 100% out of touch w reality.
Because victimhood is held now to be the highest virtue. The more points you claim on the punch card, the more moral you become. The more moral, the more you should be given control and influence. Victimhood as a pathway to privilege and entitlement, masked as virtue. Those who have actual power, control, influence and wealth must pretend and present themselves as if they had nothing. Otherwise the roving hordes of moral cannibals will descend on them and they will be eaten next. This is obviously not a desirable outcome, so they join the movement and try to guide the horde so that they eat someone else. As long as there's someone else to eat, they think they are safe. It's self preservation. They are the characters in the movie who will shoot the other survivors and leave them to the zombies in order to get more for themselves Then when confronted, claim they had no choice.
I've no idea where this "Star Wars is a patriarchal franchise" notion came from. My mom took me to see my first Star Wars movie. A close (female) friend of my mother had all six movies on VHS and gave me recommendations on where to start. My grandma owned a Legends novel about Jacen and Jaina Solo. Gender was never an issue until they made it one.
That is the most confusing part for me about their whole patriarchy argument as well, SW always had strong female characters holding lots of power. Leia, Amidala, Ashoka, Ventress, the list literally goes on and on. It just shows that they are either wilfully destroying SW because they cannot see through their blind hatred for people not like them, or have not underdtood a single iota of SW in general and have probably not observed a single minute of SW properly or at all...
Agreed. I've always loved sci-fi and fantasy, and I didn't care that most of my female friends did not, when I was young. They were raised to be influenced to prefer other genres, but in recent years that was already changing, and more girls were getting into sci-fi, fantasy and horror. There was no need to start snatch up the Star Wars franchise, bash men, castrate male heroes, and create female heroes who never have any flaws, never have to work their way up. This is just a small group of women abusing power, and creating jobs for their friends, while they sponge off the creative work done by others in the past.
Yep!! My MOTHER took me and my brothers to see the original 3 SW movies in the theater back in the 70's and 80's, NOT my father. My father could have gone with us, but he just wasn't interested in si-fi. Why did my mother like SW? Because Carrie Fisher was a strong female lead and Harrison Ford was "hot." How much more can a si-fi "drama" be "for women" than that??
This video and your comments are SPOT ON!!! My Mom introduced me to Star Wars and there are more females in my family that like Star Wars then men. ALL of the female members of my family agree with your comments. I wish it wasn’t this way. Star Wars used to be an amazing product. But, with Kathleen Kennedy and Disney pushing these agendas they have ruined a product, a world we love so much.
My mom was the one who got me into Star Wars, she always loved Star Wars ever since she saw the very first movie in theaters. She did NOT like the sequels, it's just not the Star Wars she fell in love with anymore. By making it more "female-centric" in their own way, they're turning the franchise into something that feels completely different and alienates even female fans.
I was 11 when _Star Wars_ came out. I read the books several times, and later introduced my son and daughter to them. One of the few things we all agree on is the superiority of the originals to the later movies. They loved young Anakin in Episode 1, but didn’t really engage with 2 and 3.* *I care so little for anything after the original trilogy that I can’t remember the titles of the others.
@@llamasugar5478 My Step dad is a huge Star wars fan. At first he defended the Sequels and even went as far as to say Solo was Good. The one thing we both Agree on is Rouge one was the only good thing to come out it. I don't know if his opinion changed on the Sequels and Solo.
I loved the original Star Wars back in 1977, and honestly wished George Lucas had stopped there and moved on to other genres. Ultimately he's responsible for this catastrophe, selling out every step of the way.

My sister didn’t like us jumping around or things we did in that treehouse, so kept introducing rules to follow. Very well said and such a controlled review of the state of things. Using obvious facts, exposing agendas, and keeping your argument extremely hard to rebuttal (huge props for no name calling or blatant insults) is helping a lot of us old school fans coupe with all this. The Acolyte and the 3 has been like watching one of your prized possessions go skipping scratching and mangling down a jagged cliff. And all we can do is watch in disbelief and shock.... Blessings and keep up the good fight!!!
Fr, the first six are 1000 times more progressive and accepting than the current piles of money that they’re lighting on fire and trying to cram down our throats. Though I agree it’s a male dominated fanbase (not even sure if this is true given how large the fanbase was at its peak), star wars has always had a global appeal because the story and characters were primary, not a blatant agenda. It’s not inherently bad to have an agenda in a piece of art (cringing to associate the current drivel with art) but people (especially Star Wars fans who came for Star Wars) aren’t gonna care about any agenda you insert if the body of work around it SUCKS. In fact, as we’re seeing, it actively hurts said agenda
"Non-Binary" really means "I'm a low intelligence trend-chaser that doesn't have a personality so I try to fake one that I learned about on social media but don't know anything about".
Just today I finished reading the trilogy written by Timothy Zahn, the one that USED to have Lucas's unofficial stamp of approval as the sequel trilogy. That trilogy could've been AWESOME! Want a strong, badass female character? Timothy Zahn gave us Mara Jade, and Disney has entirely ignored her character. What a disgrace.
Let's not forget Leias arc, Winter, the matriarchal leader of the Nogri. Each of these characters in Zahns book have better writing, are more impacted to their story and galaxy at large, then every female character that KK did
Great video! Altho one thing to add: Ahsoka quickly became a fan favorite of the Clone Wars series! She had an amazing arc and character development. Ahsoka is a great example of a female character being strong for the character she developed into, instead of a character being strong because she's female. The Disney+ series tho... pff. Threw an amazing character off the cliff.
It's nice to see women pushing back on this too, as a male fan I'd just get labeled as toxic or one of the ISTs or PHOBE's for giving any criticism. They have absolutely shoe-horned themselves into an existing IP and attack the fans for not liking the fact they are fundamentally changing the stories.
An old baker sells his store after 40 years of selling bread. The new owner of the store put only meat on the shelfes, but dosnt change the "baker" shop sign & even puts out news adverts with "bread for sale". Old customers keep entering the store asking for bread but is told that "bread has too many carbs in them & is unhealty, you should buy meat instead". And if they dont buy bread or complain they get told they they are all kinda "ists" & "phobes". A trick that may have worked on a new customer, but never on a old one.
As a female fan since the 80s, I do NOT like what they have done to Star Wars. A space adventure film for all ages has become a bunch of bland stories that exist solely to "showcase diversity" or engage in what should have been a long abandoned advertising tactic of "fanbaiting". Disney owns Lucasfilm and they can do what they want. Changing brand focus is fine, but expecting to retain customers that way is dicey. Had Disney been smart and made classic stories with some side stories that were girl focused romance an occasional show focusing on diversity and a nod to the alphabet community, they would have been fine. But, they declared that EVERY show had to be diverse, female, and gay. Ironically, in attempting to grab EVERY identity group they could think of, they alienated them all. Generally, I hate corporate feminism. Since it's full scale implementation into media I have decided that I'm no longer a feminist.
Star wars used to be made for Nerds, which possibly includes Woman, Latino, Asian or Black but the core audience used to be White men. Now its made for "Modern Audience" by "Feminist" which actively tries to humiliate its traditional core audience. This has given feminist a bad name.
I think one of your most important points was them not caring about it. If they cared, then you included historical references, and hired writers that cared about where George was taking it. You can creatively incorporate things from present day and new ideas without butchering a franchise. The acolyte’s presentation show us there was an agenda pushed rather than adding something creative to a great franchise.
My favorite part of the Acolyte is the part where I did not watch it. The only scenes I’ve seen are all reactions to it. It’s highly entertaining that way.
Something you'll notice with things made by a predominantly male group is that those men won't mention "men" in the course of the creation process. They won't even say it's "for men", or "by men" or that they are happy that their team comprises mostly men. I see a stark contrast with what Disney is doing though. We're forever being told this is made by women, written by women, there's more women behind and in front of the camera, and that this is for a more female audience. Men don't go out of their way to be sexist, they just band together the best minds and create something amazing. Ironically, in a woman's quest to "smash the patriarchy" they end up being the thing they supposedly hate - sexist.
You know they need to repeat it that it's now for us women, otherwise we wouldn't know. I most certainly never though it was made for me - or anyone else for that matter.
@@saddlerrye6725that's the funny part. They insist that it's made for you, by people like you. It's vanity, resentment, entitlement and projection. You are a woman, they are a woman, you must be the same and think the same and like all the same things. If reality disagrees with them then reality is wrong. Every time.
I'm a Gen X female. As a kid growing up in the 80's I never ever felt I couldn't love Star Wars because the lead character was a man. I'm now lamenting what Disney has done to a world that I and my husband loved and something we shared with our boys too. Now I will never ever watch another Star Wars show or movie. I checked out after the Mandelorian episode 1 of Season 3 (I just loved Grogu so much at that stage) after it just went down hill quickly. I hated the last 3 movies with Rey and what they did to Luke, Han and Leia's characters. It's just a horrible mess now.
This is what gets lost in all of the noise. So much of their justification hinges on them proclaiming what Is and is not 'for women'. These dichotomies _must_ exist to support their current rationale around their decisions. Yet, to me, it just smells of doing the very thing they complain about the patriarchy doing - removing women's agency. They get to decide what women do and don't like, not the women themselves. Star Wars is a 'boys thing', regardless of and blatantly ignoring all the women who liked it just fine. Women can't relate to men, people of color can't relate to non-people of color, we are all of us helpless and require catering to because we lack agency. Its gross.
I get ya. Back in the day, Star Wars wasn't a 'boy' thing, it was an everyone thing. It wasn't until decades later that I heard people calling it a boy thing.
One person in my close proximity absolutely hates Disney Star Wars. My mom. In her opinion it is "completely hollow." She grew up with it, she took me to see prequels when I was little. She has a massive frame with original trilogy Yoda in the kitchen. Not poster but a framed painting of him. She has "dark side" and "light side" stickers above and below the bedroom lightswitch. So I have no idea who is KK's target audience.
Its an audience that doesn't exist because none of their material is actually aimed at anyone that watches Star Wars. These people clearly never watched Star Wars because if they did they would see its full of strong female charecters like, princess Leia, Padme, Mom Mothma, Ahsoka, Sabine Wren, Bo Katan, Satine Kryze, Hera Syndulla and many female Jedis some of whom were on the Jedi Council.
The "modern audience" is the kids.. This is how they "force behaviors", by making that insufferable crap they call "entertainment" new normal and as there is always clash between generations, there is reasonable chance the seed will sprout.. The left just did their homework, in public they hate the famous angry painter, but in private, they study his lessons like "He who controls the youth, controls the future".
One odd thing is how many of these “Black Power” people are actually mixed race, not “pure” black. Amandla in The Acolyte, the Weird girl in Snow White, Meghan Markle, etc. they all choose to stress the black half rather than the white half. I wonder why?
Because they're going to use a fake argument... To prop themselves up... Black people have figured out how to navigate and thrive a long time ago... Those other types that you mention... Just want to Obama themselves a new level over other people
In these reinevented series They're so far from the original fiction that I wondered why they even bothered with it in the first place and instead created their own stuff. Then I realized, their need to destroy and vandalize anything that is at all to do with what they see as the patriarchy. They will not stop until men are driven from every aspect of society. In fact, episode 3 gives you a clear picture of what they want... a world of L-space witches where men are no longer exist.
16:14 Dave Filoni made Ashoka a cocky and unlikable character on purpose. Because of her brashness, she makes some bad decisions that cost many lives. As a result she was able to self-reflect, humble herself, and truly grow as a character. That is why she is very much beloved amongst the Star Wars fandom, and IMO is a female character done correctly.
Ironically, Ahsoka is a character whose existence has caused a lot of problems for reasons other than the way she is written: Prior to the _TCW_ Pilot Movie, Anakin was established to have only been knighted thirty months into the Clone Wars and six months prior to _Revenge of the Sith._
The crazy part is, that in Legends continuity, the books, comics, etc that came before Disney bought it out HAD strong female characters. Leia became a Jedi, Luke married a former Jedi Assassin under the Emperor, Han and Leia's daughter Jaina Solo fights and defeats her twin brother Jacen who becomes a Darth on the level of some of the most powerful Sith ever. But of course why would they know that when their heads are too far up their own asses.
Yep. One of the first things Disney did after the purchase was to say that the at least 15 years worth of comic stories from Dark Horse "didn't happen". Just counting the comics and not even the novels, that's a lot of stories to just dump and try to pretend never happened.
They had to drop these stories to uphold the narrative that starwars was such a man centered universe with no female leads. The narrative is more important than reality.
Первое что сделал Дисней - полностью отменил "Расширенную Вселенную". Все книги, комиксы, игры и прочее, что выходили до 2012 по мнению Диснея - не канон. -_-
in my country there is an old saying "where the devil can't go, he will send a woman" - if you want to run your company down the drain, put a few women in management positions. They will be so focused on competing with each other that they will sacrifice the good of the company.
Why is it that the slave Leia bikini is always held up as an example of SW misogyny...yet...if a women is at a con cosplaying Leia, she is invariably wearing that outfit?
@@christophervincent77right? 😂 it’s almost like it was intentionally a bit misogynistic for the purpose of empowering her 🤷♀️ I’m sure that’s just a coincidence, Star Wars has never been about alluding to greater themes. They’ve always just told not shown that’s why they’re great!😅 *sarcastic voice
What Disney has done to Star Wars is what happens with you force DEI compliance rather than hiring and promoting based on merit, experience, and HISTORY writing on the subject. There's entire book series from back in the 80's and 90's they could of just used to continue and wrap up the Skywalker story arch and the fans would of LOVED it.

Speaking as a former fan, its destroyed, past tense. It can be saved only if it changes ownership and all recently produced "content" is decanonized and ignored.
Yes, and it needs a lot of time. Imo a new generation of fans. Imo they should stop with Star Wars, and remaster episode 1 - 6 in a few years, and hope, children will watch and like it in the following years. Then, in maybe 15 - 20 years, they can produce new content, and they should stick to the source material. There is enough lore, that's actually liked by real fans, that they could use 🤷♂️
Decanonizing is a dumb concept. You cannot expect average fans to keep track of what if canon, what isn't. Everything made under the banner of the franchise is part of it's story. That's why it should be properly concepting in the first place, there is no going back
@@hankkingsley9183 In that case there's a major problem with Han Solo's death in the movies... because in the books chewie died first screeming in rage at a falling moon as it smashed into the planet he was on after saving Han and Leia's children. You nailed it when you said they can’t identify with people who don’t look like them and they think nobody else can either. When they say that having a black woman in a lead role means it’s finally for black women, they’re also saying that it wasn’t okay for black women to like it before, or that it isn’t okay for a white man like me to appreciate and look up to Princess Leia or Lando Calrissian, etc.
How many dudes have you heard of assembling an army of males to ensure that romantic comedies represent men better? How many hoards of men are demanding that there should be Disney Princes, too? Why are there ONLY Princesses?! Honestly, these "women" aren't looking for equality at all. They're just looking for REVENGE over something they didn't give a crap about in the first place.
and yet here you are, upset that not every lead in Star Wars now, is male. Hilarious hypocrisy. Admit it or not, authentic representation matters....even to you.
Ironic how Lucas says that Star Wars is about the dangers of dictatorship and egoism etc. And then comes the new owner, taking over, massacring Star Wars for blatant political/woke gain. So Lucas taught us, both in the original movies and IRL not to let the wrong people take power.
It’s still funny when I remember an interview with Kathleen Kennedy in 2015 in which she said we don’t have hundreds of books and comics like Marvel to film them. Forgetting that they exist, hundreds of books and comics on Star Wars written over 50 years, but which were canceled as not canon. Moreover, having canceled old books and comics, they continued to steal ideas from them. Like the Emperor's clones, The Return of Boba Fett, the division of the Mandaroans into 2 nations
As a heterosexual woman, please give Star Wars back to the patriarchy so I can have something to look at. Not many women I know wants to watch a movie with strong manly female characters. I want handsome strong men who might be a bit of a scoundrel. Thanks!
That's the intention. In an ironic way though, I think they end up helping to save everything... and things more important than movies, series and games.

That's a pretty brilliant analogy. Kudos!
That's a great analogy. I'm going to remember that one.
Brilliantly describes it!
It’s similar to Link and Zelda, we may spend more time with Link but the games are called “Legend of Zelda”.

For example:
As for it's women:
1: Mara Jade was the OG Mary Sue of Star Wars.

Also, this might have been a genius business move. He sells Star Wars to Disney for millions of dollars and puts an idiot behind the steering wheel. Because there's an idiot behind the steering wheel, Star Wars stock crashes and becomes practically worthless. The Lucas comes in and buys back Star Wars for pennies.
They made him dumb for no reason other than "Inclusion! lets make men stupid!"
Personally, I think The Super Mario Bros.

We're not racist, we love Lando Calrissian, Mace Windu, Cassian Andor and Saw Gerrera.
We hate movies that are more focused on being woke than having a great story and that are appealing more to the minority instead of the majority of Star Wars fans. @@GyvonJante That's simply untrue. At least I came across no such thing... I'm pretty sure people were angry after his character was wasted

If you intentionally target a smaller audience, don't complain when your audience and the money they spend, is less than before.

Nailed it! Writing it for themselves. It’s literally overpriced fanfiction.
The sad thing is they have no idea what makes a character (male or female) strong and impactful.
I was going to comment the same. "Destorying" word was apt when Last Jedi released. After Acolyte, Star Wars is DESTROYED. Its history.
More than a decade have the AI resurrect it in two generations
My whole family went together to see the premier of the original Star Wars; we were all blown away and loved it. It had absolutely nothing to do with representation. It had to do with an incredibly rich and creative world and story, that no one had ever seen before - it never crossed the minds of my quite progressive family that Star Wars was only for men. It’s an insane notion.
I'm so sick of those feminists claiming women action heroines are a recent thing. Old movies had plenty of women action heroines, one that comes to mind is the Annie Oakley series. Unlike this girl, I grew up in a time and environment where being a nerd meant the world of scifi and fantasy was sometimes the ONLY space you could feel comfortable in. I'd wager the reason it never felt like a "safe space" for her is because it wasn't a space, period, for her.
And yet Women keep voting in the masses for liberal, lephtist policies.

I agree .
I remember give your characters a reason. Give the antagonist a reason to be involved with the protagonist.
Unreal.
But haven’t you heard? HE IS MAAAAAN!!!! So not good enough. Do better, people.
Talk about a waste of talent. Samuel L. Jackson was so restrained in the role of Mace Windu, the only time he was really able to show how good of an actor he is was when he executed Jango Fett.
Don't forget the coolest character in the galaxy Lando (OG) who almost stole the princess from Han Solo himself... 😂😂😂

They loved young Anakin in Episode 1, but didn’t really engage with 2 and 3.*

"The more you force me to like something, the more I decide to not." - me, just now
You nailed it when you said they can’t identify with people who don’t look like them and they think nobody else can either. When they say that having a black woman in a lead role means it’s finally for black women, they’re also saying that it wasn’t okay for black women to like it before, or that it isn’t okay for a white man like me to appreciate and look up to Princess Leia or Lando Calrissian, etc.
these wokies are the iggest Racists and BIGOTS off all its the commie way
Which is dumb .. I love spawn he is black so I guess I can't relate to him it's so dumb
She should've been captured and locked up then and there.
As a heterosexual woman, please give Star Wars back to the patriarchy so I can have something to look at. Not many women I know wants to watch a movie with strong manly female characters. I want handsome strong men who might be a bit of a scoundrel. Thanks!
💯
Ah “that’s bigoted and anti-feminist” 🤧🤓
Exactly. Modern Star Wars writers really don't understand how much Han Solo, the handsome rogue, did to bring in female viewers
@@ottoweininger8156judging by the latest acolyte episode they actually do know it perfectly well 😂

they are destroying everything... movies, series, games...
Thank blackrock
Yes they are.
That's the intention.
In an ironic way though, I think they end up helping to save everything... and things more important than movies, series and games.
Because they are colonizers.
Last of us 2 video was a great woke game
