To be fair, Cad Bane didn't try to kill the rancor. He was using fire to keep it at bay and scare it away. You can tell how casual Cad is with the flamethrower that his intent wasn't lethal, but rather like saying "No... not a good idea. You don't want to mess with me." Cad's such a good shot, if he wanted to kill it, I'm sure he could've shot the rancor in the eye or open mouth. He just wanted the rancor out of the confrontation with Boba.
It's nice to see someone who just genuinely enjoyed the series for what it is. Not through the eyes of a "fan" who gets upset because their fan fiction doesn't line up with the show

At the end of the battle, the rancor was wounded and no longer had Boba to guide him, so he was rampaging. The others saw it as a threat and started shooting at it which only aggravated the rancor more. lol
Favorite moments were how Boba Fett and Cad Bane’s final fight felt like Once Upon a Time in the West meets Unforgiven, and when the rancor has the droid in its grip and Boba yells, “Do it!” and the rancor then rips the thing in half. When that happened, I was so happy, I cried. I loved that scene!
R2 is an astromech droid, which is basically an auto-pilot. so he can fly the ship on his own
Since you seemed to miss it, Kazzy, Marshall 'Cobb Vanth' was the one in the bacta tank during the mid-credit scene... and the cyborg modifier was there, apparently to give him a robotic shoulder/arm; so, all will be well! 😎
I really loved this show I really hope we get a season 2 and to answer your question the man in the tank was Cobb Vanth the Marshal and the guy over him with the flaming knife was the droid mod doctor who helped save Fennec's life so most likely he is there to modify the Marshal to save his life so no need to worry 😊🤠

The droids you're talking about that were used in the Clone Wars were Droidekas. The droids you see are like a larger version of those droids, they're called Scorpeneks.
Grogu cuddling with a ranchor was something I didn't know I needed for life to be complete...on par with finding out the identities of the "final five".
The guy that plays the modder (the one who mods shen and now Marshal) is the one and only, legendary Thundercat. He's a big nerd.

Okay so in the after credits of Book of Boba Fett, the sheriff that Mando helped earlier in his own show it's pretty much getting some Cyberpunk 2077 cybernetic body parts after Cad Bane nearly shot him to death.

R2 piloted the ship. Think of R2 as the Full Self Driving computer in an autonomous car.
The end credits scene is Marshall Con Vanth and the guy with the torch is the one who fixed Fennec with cyborg parts to save her life.
Another rollercoaster ride with you -they made you cry - you made me cry -your the best lol and so waited to see your reaction to Cobb being alive so wanted that - which you did.
It's the Marshall in the chamber (he ain't dead yet!) and the guy over him is who Boba went to to fix Fennec when she'd be gut shot.

It was Cobb Vanth (the Marshall) in the Bacta tank, and the Mod artist that fixed/healed Fennec. He is probably going to give Cobb a robotic arm mod.

Cad Bane reminds of Lee Van Cleef's Angel's Eyes Aka The Bad of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly with Clint Eastwood. Lee's character had same mannerisms as Cad's
Grogu was never going to choose the lightsaber. He's been phenomenally successful for Disney in terms of merchandising and they weren't about to have him offscreen training with Luke. Besides churning out new Grogu's wearing the chain mail armor I wouldn't be surprised if Disney comes out with Mando's new N-1 starfighter complete with mini Grogu sitting in the droid port.

That’s very true. Also a Grogu did end up training with Luke, then it wouldn’t really work with the timeline that later happens in the force awakens.. After all Grogu is definitely a creature that would outlive Luke and if he isn’t in the later story as his apprentice then it would make sense that he was killed with the others. So it makes sense I guess that he wouldn’t choose to train to become a Jedi and Luke in the end.
The Marshal ( Tim Oly) was injured and in the Bacta tank at Boba's palace. That guy wit hthe flame was the modder who helped Boba save Fennec. He's going to help repair/replace part of The Marshal since his shoulder/arm is probably severely wounded.

Good news, Cobb Vanth was in the Bacta Tank bed healing at the end, not Boba. The Guy with the night was a mod-sugeon preparing to operate on Cobb Vanth. He LIVES! ;)
There are fair criticisms to be made of the show, but I had so much fun watching it, and at the end of the day, I'm fine with that. Can't wait for the Obi-Wan show and Mando season 3.

In regards to the CGI/Deep fake Luke, I don't think some people truly understand how lucky we are, that we can see a fully realized younger Luke Skywalker and how much this opens up to the possibility of brand new stories.
I’m actually surprised just how tough a rancor’s hide is or maybe they had no choice, couldn’t have it dying off so easily
actually Rancors have blast resistant skin so blasters have little affect on their hide

Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard

As someone who has mostly abandoned StarWars it is nice seeing these reactions. You're like me when I watched Gundam Unicorn which was a fan love story as well ie made to make franchise fans tear up with joy, fear, sorrow and mountains of Nostalgia.
I'm still amazed that no one knew where Fennec was, even though there is a clear discussion in the Sanctuary about "taking out the Pyke command in Mos Eisley," something I caught when I initially watched this episode and knew she was on a mission. Don't feel bad. I must've watched a dozen of these reaction videos and everyone is asking, "Where's Fennec?"

Hey kaz, since you like battlestar galactica, I think you would also very much enjoy the expanse, its on prime video, 6th and last season finished recently so you could watch all of it if youre so inclined. Personally I think the expanse is one of the best scifi stories out there right now and I dont say that lightly. I would love to see you react to it!

The post credit sequence wasn't hard to work out - Cobb Vanth was in the bacta tank & the Mod guy was there to fix him up.
I did have to rewind it the first time because I couldn't tell who was in there. So, I was thinking, "that's it?" So, I backed it up and got closer to the screen and then realized who it was.
I will say it again, Most Genuine Reaction-er on TH-cam! and a Natural Cutie to boot. :P Thanks Kazzy.

If you liked BSG, check out its cancelled prequel series 'Caprica'. 'The Expanse' is also fantastic, as is 'Firefly' series + 'Serenity' film. There's 'Farscape', which is great for binge watching and 'Lost'. There's also 'Tales From the Loop' (current), and there's a show called 'V' from 1984 (the Mini Series + Final Battle).

I have a feeling the Pikes used the droids to take out the Tusken Raider camp. Don't think the Pikes could have done it by themselves. Also, I have a feeling that Luke had to go Leia and could not take Grogo to Mando. With how the force works...would not be surprised that she was giving birth to Kylo. R2 seemed to be in a rush. Really enjoyed this show.

KAZ, I know it's not sci-fi/fantasy/comics-based, but you need to react to REACHER. Such a good action-thriller series, and, a solid adaptation of the 1st Jack Reacher novel by Lee Childs.
