Hi Dave brilliant video as usual!! Can I ask for some advice? Any tips would be great
I think in general silver cars always look really flat even when polished but the only I would recommend for that perfect finish is a clay bar then a good machine polish with a decent compound to start with. After that I've used many glazes before applying a wax which have plenty of fillers. Alternatively I like g techniq crystal serum light then follow up 48 hours later with exoV4 for that deep wet look. What products are using at the moment? Very hard to see much difference in terms of Gloss and protection. It's almost like they are bringing out so many variants of a product that does pretty much the same job when it comes to ceramic sprays, waxes etc...
Great video. I’ve bought some today. Just out of interest, I’m new to car detailing etc. Do you need to polish the car before using this liquid wax ? Also, if I wash and polish the car on Friday but don’t have time to wax , can I wax the following night after driving to work and back or will I have to do the whole wash process again ? Thanks
Is it recommended to do a couple coats initially? I've buffed out the paint and used this...was just wondering if there is any advantage to several coats. Would think that if first coat is good then additional coats should not stick?
I’ve been told that you don’t want to apply another coat soon after as the first coat is still doing its job so you just end up wasting the product , apply once every four months or so should be golden
If it was a spray and you wanted durability from a single use then turtlewax ceramic spray has the edge but it does have drawbacks like the application method. If you clean your car on a regular basis and want something that gives a nice gloss and durability for a 2-3 months then Yum, Meguiars , garage therapy are all winners. My autoglym ceramic rapid spray comes out next week so i cant wait to finish testing
To be honest I think now there are few better ones out there. It's so easy to apply and offers good protection so depends on what you want from a wax. Durability or easy to use
@@mroqqq7871 fusso coat is great for durability and application. In terms of easy to apply then yum wax wins hands down above anything in my opinion. Durability is 4-6 weeks so its a regular wax but the gloss is unbelievable
I like megs so for me I'd stick with it because I been trying it more this week and love it. In a perfect world you would obviously Decon the car but as for a go to wax to maintain a shine it's perfect

Afternoon! Watched this video and had to go buy some, WOW! it’s brilliant so thanks very much for doing this review! Question, the Yum Ceramic vs this, what is the difference and which is better? Have a good one 😀
Thank you. The word ceramic is associated with sio2. So any product that tends to have sio2 in it these days is allowed to use the term Ceramic. Both will do the same job but both have different application methods. What's the purpose of it for you or for business?
@@epicautomotivedetailing just for me, I’ve seen you’re a big fan of yum but were also impressed with this product, just thinking when i run out, do I try yum or stick with this. Cheers mate
I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that 😂🤣. I've got a whole cupboard full of different ceramic sprays I need to film a video on. It's insane at moment
Yes couldnt agree more with. user friendliness is so important these days and in fact I think it's more important than the actual finish. If a product looks amazing but it's a nightmare to apply then it's not a good product because you can never get the best out of it
Hello Matt I'm doing few more turtlewax videos. I'm not there biggest fan as you can tell lol. I've got another meguiar's video coming in about 3 hours. Thank you so much for watching
I think it would be good to do 2 coats of this stuff and then maintain it with Meguires Ceramic Hybrid Spray Wax after every wash... or ever other wash.
My goodness that's a good question. Both are incredible brands.i think both Autoglym and Meguairs have products that beat eachother in certain categories so no overall winner. You can't go wrong with either

@@ajackson-ross7295 aqua wax isnt that great of I'm honest. Ive never seen any great results from it. It's ok but they have better products out there. The Autoglym waxes are superior
I'd actually say keep your eyes closely on YUM Ceramic. I used it yesterday and feature it in today's video which I'm uploading this morning. It's probably the best one yet
Yeah, agree that Meguiars new ceramic liquid was is easier to apply than the wet wax spray on. The buff off on Meguiars stuff has always been good. You could extend the durability by applying their new ceramic quick detailer spray over the top. and this comes in a clay pad kit for even more value. great for the average joes, but I would always polish after clay bar, due to the micro marring clay always leaves. The only problem I have with this is the cost. Meguiars are always at the top end for cost, but the up side is, as you say, all their products are pretty much idiot proof :) Good vid mate :)
So if found it for £22 on Amazon which was cheapest I had found so far so not too bad when you think how little you use. Meguiar's is such a strong solid brand never let me down
@@epicautomotivedetailing yeah 22 aint bad at all. might need to try this if I ever run out of Turtle wax hybrid Sealant (not the ceramic)/dry n shine :)
i would still rather wax my car .. but it looks a good bit of kit when you are doing a car someone else and want fast but good results. i use a petrol strimmer even louder lol.
Easier and glossier than Sigma or D&DSI? I actually rate the Meguiars hybrid ceramic QD... Have a test panel out the back in direct sunlight and under a tree that drips sap... 50/50 megs and D&Dsi... So far (1mth on) both still perform and bead OK... Gets washed about once or twice a week with left over GTOne from my other details... 😏
Fusso can be a pain to apply. Trick is to not apply a thick layer. If its not forget it. It will set like concrete. This megs wax is so easy to apply and buff off.
David, you legend. That F*-=&$@ strimmer. That Fiat's paintwork looked great anyway, that Meguiars seems impressive. And if you are impressed thats good enough for me, you are a pro detailer. 9pm at night at its Bright enough to film! Wow I'm missing summer! Watching on a snowy February evening when it's dark at 5pm lol
Love the Summer! its coming soon!
Hi Dave, did you add on another layer of protection on top of the ceramic wax? Great video, cheers!
I actually didn't with this one as it rained but I did use a ceramic spray few days later when I had a gap as it's the mother in law's car
@@epicautomotivedetailing cheers Dave! Your neighbours a twat
Can I use on the windshield too?
Personally I wouldn't. I'd go for dedicated glass coating instead
Dave in your professional Opinion what would say is the best ceramic topper you can buy please Mate .???
If it was a spray and you wanted durability from a single use then turtlewax ceramic spray has the edge but it does have drawbacks like the application method. If you clean your car on a regular basis and want something that gives a nice gloss and durability for a 2-3 months then Yum, Meguiars , garage therapy are all winners. My autoglym ceramic rapid spray comes out next week so i cant wait to finish testing
@@epicautomotivedetailing nice 1 dave thank you for your help look forward to more videos.
Thank you
Which is best: tw ceramic or this meguiars?
Application meguiar's, gloss and longevity if say turtlewax now after using them for 12 months
Hi there. What would you recommend to me? Ulimate liquid or this one you used in the video
To be honest I think now there are few better ones out there. It's so easy to apply and offers good protection so depends on what you want from a wax. Durability or easy to use
@@epicautomotivedetailing ok, so what would you recommend expect these two. I want mix of durability and easy aplication.
@@mroqqq7871 fusso coat is great for durability and application. In terms of easy to apply then yum wax wins hands down above anything in my opinion. Durability is 4-6 weeks so its a regular wax but the gloss is unbelievable
If price was not a consideration, what do you think is the best Megs Hybrid or Infinity Wax Synergy Wax?
I like megs so for me I'd stick with it because I been trying it more this week and love it. In a perfect world you would obviously Decon the car but as for a go to wax to maintain a shine it's perfect
@@epicautomotivedetailing I've not tried the Megs, I am GT fan but have Infinity Ceramic Wax on one of my cars. Megs looks easier to put on.
@@patrickvennard838 The Beauty Of meguiars is the simplicity of their products. The ultimate compound is one of my favs. that with ceramic liquid wax is amazing. Im a massive GT Fan the maintenance shampoo is my number one for valeting
Would you apply this to glass?
Personally no I wouldn't want to risk any streaks in direct sunlight. Perhaps cool temperatures
Epic vodeo as usual.
Can I use it with a machine polisher
No need it would do more harm than good in the wrong hands
I really, like your car!
Not my car sadly
Cheers mate
they need to add this stuff to NXT wax to make NXT 3.0 - it fills, glossy and with ceramic would be awesome
I love products with fillers. Not everyone's choice but I love the quick easy route. Still amazing on its own 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing i might squeeze some in my m21 bottle and see what happens!
@@petethompson1282 go for it!!! Let us know how u get on
Is it fine to apply this product to PPF?
Yes but id say there are better products out there for that
I prefer the TW Ceramic Spray :D
I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that 😂🤣. I've got a whole cupboard full of different ceramic sprays I need to film a video on. It's insane at moment
LOL. Never fails. My GTR got hit parked way in the back of a restaurant lot.
Oh No, my favourite car
That’s one thing about Meguiars, their products will always be user friendly.
Yes couldnt agree more with. user friendliness is so important these days and in fact I think it's more important than the actual finish. If a product looks amazing but it's a nightmare to apply then it's not a good product because you can never get the best out of it
LMAO love it dave keep em coming
Gosh I forgot about this one 😂
Great video and funny 😆😂😍
Thanks Dave always a pleasure
How much is it mate good vlog like product reviews
Thank you. It's about £22 on may. I put a link in the description below which should take u there
@@epicautomotivedetailing thank you
2:22 had me rolling. Hilarious! :D
Thanks my friend 😃
Dave, does it fill a bit? Hope to use it over bilt hamber cleanser polish.
Thanks. Great vids man 😎👍
Do you guys have Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish and Wax over there?
If so have you or could you test for comparison?
Hello Matt I'm doing few more turtlewax videos. I'm not there biggest fan as you can tell lol. I've got another meguiar's video coming in about 3 hours. Thank you so much for watching
I think it would be good to do 2 coats of this stuff and then maintain it with Meguires Ceramic Hybrid Spray Wax after every wash... or ever other wash.
Totally agree 2 coats made a huge difference
Do you think meguiars better than autoglym
My goodness that's a good question. Both are incredible brands.i think both Autoglym and Meguairs have products that beat eachother in certain categories so no overall winner. You can't go wrong with either
@@epicautomotivedetailing so after washing my car and I’ve used the rapid aqua car wax what do u recommend to keep rain spots off did u say I’ve been watching that many videos it’s a mind field
Could you tell me where I’m going wrong plz I rinse the car then I use 2 bucket method with the grit guards then I use a wash mitt with Autoglym body work shampoo and conditioner the I spray rapid aqua wax looks lovely then it rains and there is marks all over grey metallic on a bran new car 😂
@@ajackson-ross7295 aqua wax isnt that great of I'm honest. Ive never seen any great results from it. It's ok but they have better products out there. The Autoglym waxes are superior
So out of the Autoglym will I have to wax it every time to stop rain marks
Thanks Dave, enjoying your videos. I have the Mothers CMX, any thoughts or comparisons between the Mothers CMX and Meguiars Ceramic?
Meguiars are always at the top end for cost, but the up side is, as you say, all their products are pretty much idiot proof :)
Good vid mate :)
So if found it for £22 on Amazon which was cheapest I had found so far so not too bad when you think how little you use. Meguiar's is such a strong solid brand never let me down
And thank you appreciate you watching it 😊
@@epicautomotivedetailing yeah 22 aint bad at all. might need to try this if I ever run out of Turtle wax hybrid Sealant (not the ceramic)/dry n shine :)
What if you wash your car daily but it’s outside
i would still rather wax my car .. but it looks a good bit of kit when you are doing a car someone else and want fast but good results. i use a petrol strimmer even louder lol.
Can't stand strimmers or leaf blowers 😂 . I was really pleased with the results I got from it
It is a wax;) I use the liquid ceramic wax + liquid blue ceramic spray + ceramic detailer (3 layers total) almost bulletproof lol
I think that was Mrs Jones, trimming her bush!
I’ll stick with my trusty Fusso wax. It has never let me down!
That's on my wish list. What's it like to apply and remove?
The Epic Car Show - Entertaining Detailing its super easy and little goes a long way.
Fusso topped with kawami 👌🏼
There is nothing more funnier than seeing someone from the UK get upset 😂😂😂 dope vid tho !
Lol being British I feel it's become a part of everyday life 😂
David, you legend. That F*-=&$@ strimmer. That Fiat's paintwork looked great anyway, that Meguiars seems impressive. And if you are impressed thats good enough for me, you are a pro detailer. Brill video. Glad you mentioned the different product results based if you have a garage, outdoors, everyday car, where you live etc. Because where you park your car and drive it actually does affect the product. Come on guys, lets help David increase his subscriber numbers. If we all got just one person through personnel recommendation, he will double his subscribers. We all know he is worth it. It would be great to compare the Garage Therapy Ceramic Sealant (£18) with the Meguairs, but the GT Ceramic sealant, does not have wax in it, as far as I know. Keep it up David, as your wife would say.😝
Thanks so much. The fact that you want to help me and the channel grow is amazing and something I'm truly grateful for. Sadly these videos don't get many shares and eventually fade out to no views. Got a few good ones that do ok.if you could help in any way I'd be well happy 😁
Lmfao……I loved your lil fit, that sooooo reminds me of myself !
I forgot I even did that lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing as I’ve gotten older I have become a lot less tolerant of peoples stupid crap and I will flip out in a second ! Lol
