Yeah great video that helps inspire confidence in beginners without blowing the budget. You Sir need to do a video on how to clean the glass outside and inside! Thanks and Cheers
If it dries, use an instant detailer spray and wipe , it will come off no sweat. Especially if you find some polish thats dried in an area you forgot. Just a tip if anyones reading this.
I watched you for the first time. Love it, compounded my car by hand with meguians ultimate and ultimate polish, perfect finish thank you. I live in the states, and I've watched lots of videos regarding car detailing and loved your honesty. Thank you!!
Hi If u are applying a nhe wax in aug do u Need to strip ol d wax off with a wax stripper before applying new. Hád a wax appplied by a Detail man this month and wanted to put new coat on around aug or sep.
This is awesome. Most people these days forget that paint correction is actually restoration work. For "detailing" this is all you need! Awesome job man!
I know this is an older video, but I followed it to the letter yesterday except at the end when I used turtle wax hard shell rather than ceramic. The car came out awesome. As you said the polish needs to get buffed off very quickly and yes my left shoulder feels broken. The car looks new and I’m very grateful for the tips.
I like how you pitch your videos. No nonsense, thorough and honest. I've been polishing my cars for 35 years and my go to has been Autoglym but the Meguiar's stuff looks really impressive. I'd probably go SRP after compound for ease but great video. Subscribing now. All the best.
One of the easiest compunds/polishes to use by hand. Works superbly. Makes a clear coat finish shine like glass and vastly improves a worn out single stage finish.
Black cars look so good when done right. I used this product with my machine to get rid of a few Mark's after a prang with a hex logic pad. Ended up doing it by hand afterwards and it looked better. Great content as per and keep it up Dave.
As a DIT detailer this encourages me to try this as appose to the machine approach that I am not comfortable using with all the pads you need to know and understand how they work. This just might be the thing for me starting out just need to put the time in and thats not an issue well worth it if I can get the same results as you did. Thanks for this. Ottawa Ontario Canada.
Nice one, there's no shame in doing it this way to get started. I know big name detailers myself included who have made mistakes when starting out. You can still get good results from a hand compound 👌

Excellent video and thank you for the warning that the Ultimate Polish literally dries in 15-20 seconds or so in the shade! I did find that applying slightly more UP helped to dissolve any dried UP and wipe away. I wish they could extend UP a bit to make it easier to work with by hand.
Enjoyed the videos. I have a 2010 Honda with some pretty serious sun damage. Excited to give it a shot with Meguiars so I appreciate you breaking it down.

But, since then, I built some knowledge, and want to do it myself. On my Peugeot I used the NextZett No. 3 (Polish) and NextZett No. 4 (Sealant). On my Megane I am not sure if I am going to keep with the NextZett, or change to Meguire's. Nevertheless, this video gave me the confidence I needed! Cheers mate!
That's so nice to see. It's what makes you happy. White cars can be hard graft so well done. As long as you keep on top of it with something like the ceramic wax your always have that nice glossy shine. I'm so pleased to have helped ☺️
I tried the ultimate compound on an old work truck I bought. 17yr old truck, probably never had a wash once. Heavy oxidation on the paint. Power washed it, hand washed it. Then I used the Ultimate compound on it. I did 2 feet by 2 feet sections at a time so it would'nt dry out and whipped off the excess. 3hrs later it turned out beautifully. finished it up with some black plastic trim restorer and it was like i had an almost new truck again. Went from being kind of ashamed of it, to proud to drive it around. Never done it before. Others cars i would just pressure wash and call it a day. But it was an old truck with lots of life left so i wanted to try it. It's pretty simple.
I would say do the whole car. The satisfaction for doing it and making an older car look great is fantastic! Just hand polished the neighbours car the other day and, for a non car person, where over the moon with the results!! That was with SRP though.
Thanks this hand polishishing was what I was looking for to properly do my sailboat. I’ve polished many times - but never properly. I had new striped added to my 42 ft boat and the polisher nicked them a few times. I know I am in for a workout - it's better than going to the gym Your instructions were excellent
Brilliant, so so simple. Been detailing cars for 20 years now and never even thought of it. Gona do your method everytime now, (unless of course the glass is too bad and requires a chemical) great stuff,, loving ya channel mate, keep it up mate.😎
Thanks mate it definitely works feel non valeters may need few attempts as it's so important to buff before it dries but definitely Stand by this method
The first time I used the polish was on a car that was a little older and I did not clay bar or compound. I applied the polish to a large area and it dried and I didn't think I was ever going to get it off. I came here to watch the compound but I am doing all of the steps in your video. Thank you for making this video.
Thanks for your video, I am a beginner and I want to apply the products without a polishing machine because I do not feel confident to do it, it is very inspiring and gives me confidence to do it myself with your techniques, greetings from Mexico.
I actually can't see the difference, but it looks amazing. I just bought the compound, and I'm going to try to get out a few scratches with it. Thanks!
@@epicautomotivedetailing I just finished detailing my car today with ultimate Mcguire clay bar /compound /polish / liquid wax all by hand and it looks AMAZING WOW. thank you for your help and videos!
No feathers ruffled from this pro detailer! GREAT video for those looking to DIY but intimidated by thoughts like "i'll ruin my paint". Try this especially if you're on a budget or afraid to try it. Thank you, mate.
Good video. I have gone from a polishing worrier to a polishing warrior !! I have just ordered the Meguiars Ultimate compound and wax to do my car. I have a 2014 white Fiesta. The paintwork is in really good condition.... apart from swirls, and I want to have a go at getting them out. This video has given me the confidence to have a go. I don't want to spend money on a polisher if I am only going to polish the car every couple of years.
I used to detail cars 20 years ago. and i'll tell you what you hit the nail on the head, most of customers are not looking for perfection in a paint finish, most of my customers just wanted a well done interior (100% cleaned) and a wash polish and wax--i never used compound.
"Ya get through so many cloths sometimes you just forget....W****S", looooooooool Good stuff Dave, I'm enjoying your content 👍 I used the same process apart from I had the Ultimate Wax rather than Ceramic Wax. All done by hand on the wifes white car, it was hard work!! Good tip on the polish, I wish I knew not to leave it on for long. If you do, I used a cloth dampened with ONR. When it comes to doing my car I've got myself a DA polisher 😜
I agree, small steps for us non professionals. I touched up, wet sanded, compounded (using the product you show cased) clay barred and polished (again using the product you show cased). Followed by Meguires Canuba wax. Amazing results
Love the content again, not over complicating things as usual, would the liquid ceramic go well with soft 99 Fusso or BH double speed wax as I loads of these left ?
Thank you Richard. I've not personally tested that so I couldn't say how it would react but applying either over the compound or Polish would definitely work well 👌
Great video mate, I’ve never hand polished and scared to try machine polishing so perfect video. Very helpful!! Daft question...is there just one I could use or all or what’s best to start practicing etc? Dave. 👍👍🙌
My pleasure Dave, I'd say as long as you have compound and the polish you can get great results. One note the polish really needs to be taken off straight away and done in small areas at a time👌
Wonderful. Just what I’ve been looking for to see it done by hand. Reminds me of the chauffeurs from years ago looking after there cars. I’ve always said polishing a car by hand is the best way to get,to know your car.
Best video I've watched, straight to the point, I have just 2 question's can you use the command with a machine and once thr scratches etc have gone can I use a machine with just the polish and no compound im new to this whole polishing thing but willing to get started. Just absolutely no idea as to what can be used with a polishing machine 😰😂
hi dave bought some meguiars stratch x20 .. product is great .. put it on hand pad rotated counted to 100 wiped off with microfiber rearly good . thanks for your great video going to try ultimate compound and polish this video saved me money in not getting a machine polisher
nicely demo'd Dave, perfect for those without a machine and want to look after their daily driver. i did my Outback by hand a few months back, using Ult. Compound/Polish and HCD in the sun, it took a few hours, turned out well 😎 Handy Kent MF pads with velcro handle also very good to use and less hand cramp, plus some CG hand applicators.
Great to see a video not ramming machine polishing down my throat, could you do one on polishing a white car ?, and recommend products to max the shine , I think I’ll stick with autoglym super resin polish for now, but definitely going to try the meguiars compound ,,keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for making “car detailing” simple to understand. I just bought the same products and gonna try this method. But I’ve got a question.. There are quite a few clear coat scratches and swirl marks on my 2006 Nissan X-trail and was wondering if its ok to use two passes with the ultimate compound before going to the polishing stage?
As far as hand compound/polishing goes for light swirls and scratches, would this be good enough for paint correction or would this be considered more paint enhancement? Awesome vid btw, subscribed recently 👌
Hello Steven, If your using this by hand then you wont get the same results as a machine polish and never will but in terms of being used as a paint enhancement then yes it will help. It's not the quickest method but many people myself included still use this method! 😁
Thank you, about your very detail and easy instructions. I have follow your channel just a little away and being very pleased all your content. They where very helpful on my own car situation here at Finland.
I’m going to follow your process this weekend and I’m excited to see the outcome 🙏 Update I followed this process and I'm in love with the outcome. I highly recommend the 3 products in this video because it really works.
I'm ready now to attack my own car with confidence. I would have liked to see a better"before" shot to see the swirls and marks you removed. Good work tho.
Nice video . W⚓ LoL 😂 Hey, I am always interest in what type of towels you experts 💦 use and would like to hear something like, "blah blah blah the wax using a plush 310 GSM or low pile duel side etc. It's hard to see on the video and I always buy the wrong cloth for the job 😂 Also with the application microfibre, could you use a white terry version as I note over the Counter they can come in s 3 pack. Microfibres/Terry/Foam. 👍🏼🇦🇺
Hello my towels i use are from a company called autosmart in the UK. These days you can tell which ones will let you down.I know costco do yelow cloths that are sold globally which i used to use on polishing. I see what you mean yes ill make a note to mention different cloth piles etc thanks for helping me get the right information out. Yes any type of microfibre pad works well for this . Ive used many and the foam yellow pads are good and cheap
hi dave you should look at sonax cut max and final finish , its like maguires ultimate compund and ultimate polish , the sonax polish not a rush to get it off when you put it on .. have a great weekend
I got a black car and I follow what you did and my car looks great so thanks for the your tip am glad you did it thanks a million for that .is all ways very helpful went some one explained how is done the proper way to do it so thanks again for that.
rearly good dave good results yesterday used with hand pad ,with compound , i used ultimate polish afterwards but had to cut area down i polished on and get off quick got rid of some swirl marks .. some plonka on u tube said it didnt work as he did not put pea size drops on the pad .. flipping shamefull nearly all the bottle on a bonnet ... thanks
A recent subscriber because as I'm working through your videos I know you've got people like me, a regular bloke who wants to keep his car looking good but without the cost of spending loads on equipment etc 👍
Absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly explained with great detail. I particularly enormously appreciated the instruction of not waiting more than 15 seconds to remove the polish. I never considered the ceramic wax before, but I DO intend to use it now on my BLACK 2001 Sebring LXi. A million & one thanks.I'd like to buy you a pint at the pub one day. joeinbuenosaires 😎
I use your meguiars products I'm very touchy about when I go over my car that I've noticed the first time I ever used it that I left a little bit of streaking and when I went over at the second time it was less and then when I went over the third time it was great so I've always learned that the three coats actually does work very well
Brilliant video i have the Maguire's compound well over 3 years used it once and found that getting it off was tough watching this video I've seen were I went wrong and applied to much will definitely be trying it again when the weather is good and taking my time as for the ceramic wax I've heard horror stories of left to long it sticks to the paint and hard to get off
I think temperature has a huge part to play. I've never really had problems with it but I can imagine in extreme heat it could potentially be hard to remove . Happy new year 🎉🌟
I have been heading down the Rabbit Hole of trying to do my FIRST detailing of my BMW Z3. She is fun, little, sunny day driver. Finally, someone showing me that I did not need a polishing machine. I am at the Wash, Decontaminate, Clay, Compound, Polish, (then alcohol/water?) then Ceramic wax. I was stuck on the "How can I compound and polish without a machine", I also happened to pick up those exact Meguiars just yesterday. Finding this makes me feel like it's time to give it all a go! Question: How frequently do you change out your microfiber applicator for the compound or polish? Do you change applicators or quick clean/air blast them? Do you "prime" your applicator? Same with wiping towel, do you change them out often? Thanks!
@@epicautomotivedetailing Rinse it in water or? Do you use it water wet then or grab a dry one? Also do your "Prime" the applicator? (thought I have heard this on other videos?) If so how? Thanks!
You are right but it sure is nice to have one that's what I use and cuts your time in half and then some did my old truck with that stuff and used the polish after words and then wax made my truck look brand new again
I use this stuff on small areas like window trim or if there's halowing after body work in spots but it's VERY easy to get microfiber imprint when doing large areas. I'd recommend using a foam pad and then microfiber off. Makes it much more consistent when using these products. I don't use this wax tho I use the hybrid ceramic spray wax. So much easier to apply.
Was very interested in your reply. When you say you use it on small areas like window trim, do you mean, the compound, polish or the wax? It reads as the wax, and what is the finish result like, or is just as a protectant. And i presume you also use it on all outside trim, is this correct. Always looking for new idea's on protecting my trim, at the moment i am using Auto Glym silicone free trim restorer and it does a good job, but always respectful of how other car people do it. Thanks.
Do you need to wash your car (if it’s only dusty) before using these products? I’m a first time car owner and I’ve been watching your videos to learn about car maintenance. Really appreciate this simple tutorial!
Hello yes ideally you should always rinse it off. It's amazing how much contamination sits on the paint after a gust of wind. Some people have car dryers or lead blowers to help too
hi and thanks so much im about to do my 1st cut and polish tomorrow using these products, i found the video very helpful so so hopefully it will work out fine for me cheers.
Thanks for this Dave! 1.Can you please advice how much time should take to do all 3 steps? 2.Should I wash the car between steps? 3. In case my car has some small but more significant scratches, should I fix them first? cheers!
Depends on Skill level. For me a proper thorough wash alone can take an hour. but bare in mind summer is coming so get it done first thing before direct sunlight burns the car dry. This is very time consuming. I wont lie but id say your looking at 5 hours to do whole car. So requires patience
Great video Dave, I do have a DAS 6 pro, but I agree about polishing by hand, far more therapeutic, plus you can have music playing without using headphones.
You're right. Now way any work done by a professional who takes hours with machines and charges so much is going to be the same as done by a common man, by hand. Great video.
After much hesitation I finally decided to compound & polish my Lexus! Of course I thoroughly washed, dried & clayed the car before! The polish makes the car paint POP! Do NOT let the polish sit for longer than 20 seconds! I messed up on one part and like he said, it was a nightmare to rub off lol Don't forget to wax the car after for that final layer of protection & gloss!
bro, thank you so much for the sharing, you are so detailing to inform with kind like question and answer. you are awesome. please keep sharing for ys which stil practicing and practice. May God bless you. from Bali

Ok I just followed this on my Truck Nissan Navara D40 11 years old and I live in sunny Australia and the paint work was destroyed and WOW looks like a new paint job!!!! Thank you so much mate!!! I'm a complete newbie with all this so now how do I maintain this look how often should I clean it and and re wax it with the ceramic wax from Meguiar's? I also bought Meguiar's wash and wax.
I never really comment on anything... but because you asked very nicely ... here’s my question... what’s your thoughts on the Meguiars DA drill attachment polisher? Worth getting ? A review of this product would be great 👍🏼 thank you kind sir!
I think the idea is very good for people on a budget but in terms of holding the drill and comfort I'd prefer getting a proper da . I've not tried it myself but may do down the line. Thank you for watching
Very easy as a beginner for me Dave, I clay bared my whole suv & put megauiar's ultimate compound but had trouble it was it was 59 deg. & cold which made this hard to apply but I managed. Thanks for your info. Jim
Hi. I’ve just found your channel and this video in particular and I’m so pleased I have! Loads of great advice for amateur detailers - thank you. I’ve just got a R59 Mini Roaster which I think would benefit from this process. My question is, given that this video is 4 years old, would you still use the same products or are there better ones now? (Yum ceramic, for example?)
Hi Tony thanks for the buymeacoffee I just noticed 🙏. I like so many products nowadays. I'm actually remaking this video as it was very old so I could add more info. I still use yum but I also use so many other brands too. I actually love the foam sealants
@@tonywall8393 I would say a brand called zvizzer, medium cut and an orange pad are the best I've ever used with a machine polisher. I also have a bottle of rupes uno protect coming soon
I used this very approach on a mat bike that I wanted gloss look amazing now best compound I have used also it has to be by hand on a bike video helped a lot thanks
Another great video Dave - loved the description about people who comment about not taking the labels off the mcrofibre cloths hahahaha. Also appreciate your honesty about not needing a whole host of car care products and equipment to make a real difference to a car's appearance. That Meguiars Ultimate Compound looks a good buy. A few years ago - decades more like, I remember compounding a freshly repainted car by hand to get rid of the orange peel and bring some shine to the freshly painted panels. There wasn't the range of stuff that there is today so used the trusty Farecla G3 rubbing compound paste followed by T-Cut or Brasso with Simoniz liquid diamond polymer sealant to finish. It was knackering and it's probably fair to say car care products have moved on somewhat, but nether the less those products and some elbow grease made the car look great.
Finally someone showing that it can be done without any machines. Great video.
Thank you 🙏
It can be mate but a lot of grease elbow and time consuming.
I love it !

Yeh SRP is great for those instant shiny car moments.yeh I may do the car and find a way to fit it in to a video
Thanks so much
Great informational video!! Other videos didn’t explain the polish part as good as you. I wasn’t aware you have to remove the polish very quick..
Thank you very much. yes with this one you do not all polish but definitely this one
Thanks for your video, I am a beginner and I want to apply the products without a polishing machine because I do not feel confident to do it, it is very inspiring and gives me confidence to do it myself with your techniques, greetings from Mexico.
Brilliant stuff. I love mexico i went to riviera maya a few times. beautiful place
I think im getting this 3 products for my car. Thank you for your advices. Question now is how often should i do this on my car. Thanks ones again..
I'd say top up every 4-6 months with ceramic wax and maybe in-between use a quick detailer. I've not done multiple layers for regular clients yet
Hey buddy, greetings from Miami Florida. Thank you so much for teaching me how to take care of my car. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much 🙏
I actually can't see the difference, but it looks amazing. I just bought the compound, and I'm going to try to get out a few scratches with it. Thanks!
Give it a go it's great all rounder
@@epicautomotivedetailing hi can u use the megs compound on the rear lights to get the swirls out is well..
Thank you. Very real world detailing for your average person who doesn't have tools just hands. Great video!
Glad it was helpful! thanks
Thank you, mate.
thanks Paul 🙏
Thank you 🙏
Appreciate your taking the time to do this manually. It helps to know it can be done and the end result will look very nice overall.
I used to detail cars 20 years ago. and i'll tell you what you hit the nail on the head, most of customers are not looking for perfection in a paint finish, most of my customers just wanted a well done interior (100% cleaned) and a wash polish and wax--i never used compound.
The bonnet says everything! Just basics and little hard work is all matters ! Love the output ! 🖤
Thanks mate. Put work into something it's good but not the same as putting love into it 👏
thank You for posting a honest video for the average user
"Ya get through so many cloths sometimes you just forget....W****S", looooooooool
Good stuff Dave, I'm enjoying your content 👍
I used the same process apart from I had the Ultimate Wax rather than Ceramic Wax.
All done by hand on the wifes white car, it was hard work!!
Good tip on the polish, I wish I knew not to leave it on for long. If you do, I used a cloth dampened with ONR.
When it comes to doing my car I've got myself a DA polisher 😜
Nice one thanks for watching mate
I agree, small steps for us non professionals. I touched up, wet sanded, compounded (using the product you show cased) clay barred and polished (again using the product you show cased). Followed by Meguires Canuba wax. Amazing results
Exactly. For every day cars they will always incur the odd scrape etc so just a good maintenance will do
Love the content again, not over complicating things as usual, would the liquid ceramic go well with soft 99 Fusso or BH double speed wax as I loads of these left ?
Thank you Richard. I've not personally tested that so I couldn't say how it would react but applying either over the compound or Polish would definitely work well 👌
Needed this video to make my self feel better about not machine polishing. I can’t be arsed with it!!
Thanks mate. Glad to have helped. I'll upload some pics on Instagram to show u how it looks today
One note the polish really needs to be taken off straight away and done in small areas at a time👌
Epic Car Show Detailing yes noticed that on video..😨😬 thank you appreciated legend 😁
Epic Car Show Detailing quite time consuming then. I’m getting a black van going to practice on that 🤩 cheers Dave
@@daveroberts703 Just work on small sections at a time and you will be fine my friend!
Epic Car Show Detailing thank you 🙌👍
Machine is definitely the best way moving forward but buffing by hand will work to a certain extent so u can remove light scuffs
hi dave bought some meguiars stratch x20 .. product is great .. put it on hand pad rotated counted to 100 wiped off with microfiber rearly good . thanks for your great video going to try ultimate compound and polish this video saved me money in not getting a machine polisher
Wow nice one. Glad it works for you mate 🙏
nicely demo'd Dave, perfect for those without a machine and want to look after their daily driver. i did my Outback by hand a few months back, using Ult. Compound/Polish and HCD in the sun, it took a few hours, turned out well 😎 Handy Kent MF pads with velcro handle also very good to use and less hand cramp, plus some CG hand applicators.
Thank you it's really never a problem doing it by hand and it shows what can be achieved without a machine
And thanks for watching 🙏
Great to see a video not ramming machine polishing down my throat, could you do one on polishing a white car ?, and recommend products to max the shine , I think I’ll stick with autoglym super resin polish for now, but definitely going to try the meguiars compound ,,keep up the great work.
I've got a white BMW i8 video coming up. Just haven't chose the products yet
Yes just bare in mind you wont get the same results as a machine polisher sadly
Great content. My Son is just starting out and he gets a lot of knowledge, tips and enjoyment from your vids. Just like to say thank you.
That's amazing truly blessed to hear that
Great non nonsense video! And NO expensive machines! 👍
Great job 👏 got this product today and going to try on couple of scratches and scuffs this week.
Thanks very much :)
I would like to see how to compound, polish and wax on a full car by hand.
I'm contemplating that for a video 🤔🔥
Thank you, about your very detail and easy instructions. I have follow your channel just a little away and being very pleased all your content. They where very helpful on my own car situation here at Finland.
Thanks my friend. I have a how to playlist with similar videos 🙏
i have a machine polisher but i always prefer to do my car by hand its so much more therapeutic and satisfying 😊
Totally agree less noise. Can't beat a good hand job 🤣
I’m going to follow your process this weekend and I’m excited to see the outcome 🙏
Update
I followed this process and I'm in love with the outcome. I highly recommend the 3 products in this video because it really works.
I LOVE YOUR ACCENT. I could listen to you speak all day hahaha. :)
😂 I'm sure your joking. I sound like David Beckham with his nuts in a vice lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing was that vice or posh spice 🤔..
Great uplaod again
Can you use compound on your bumpers ..ive a black corsa an it's a nightmare already an its only a few weeks old.
A big thank you for sharing that you don’t need a polisher to do a good commendable job. This gives me confidence, please do do the whole car. TQ
Thank you. I have a new channel called how to detail. It's full of beginners advice
@@epicautomotivedetailing Thanks. I'm going directly to it now. I like that you don't scream into the camera and talk 90 mph.
Keep ruffling those feathers Dave! You'll only upset those with a false high opinion of themselves anyway!
Thanks mate appreciate it.
Thank you very much for an informative video that’s actually doable. I’m looking forward to giving my Golf R a good shine!
Thanks David 🙏
Claying isn't optional.
Really nice video, I bought two of them and let see how I will do it in my car. Thanks and keep making videos as well.
Thanks very much my friend
I'm ready now to attack my own car with confidence. I would have liked to see a better"before" shot to see the swirls and marks you removed. Good work tho.
Thanks James. This done a while ago. Will make a newer version with better camera soon
That was awesome this gives me the confidence to try it on my truck after seeing you explain the entire process..
Thank you..
Thanks Very much
Nice video .
W⚓ LoL 😂
Hey, I am always interest in what type of towels you experts 💦 use and would like to hear something
like, "blah blah blah the wax using a plush 310 GSM or low pile duel side etc. It's hard to see on the video and I always buy the wrong cloth for the job 😂
Also with the application microfibre, could you use a white terry version as I note over the Counter they can come in s 3 pack.
Definitely mate I'll check it out

Thanks Jaime appreciate your kind words. Thanks for messaging 🙏
Looks great. Would you mind if I asked you how long it took for each process? And how long would it take to do a whole car?
rearly good dave good results yesterday used with hand pad ,with compound , i used ultimate polish afterwards but had to cut area down i polished on and get off quick got rid of some swirl marks .. some plonka on u tube said it didnt work as he did not put pea size drops on the pad .. flipping shamefull nearly all the bottle on a bonnet ... thanks
Crikey. Sometimes you need the right weather to get the best out of the polish. It doesn't perform as well in mega heat
A recent subscriber because as I'm working through your videos I know you've got people like me, a regular bloke who wants to keep his car looking good but without the cost of spending loads on equipment etc 👍
Hello you will love my next video cheap Vs expensive wheel brushes coming next week
Thanks so much 🙏
I use your meguiars products I'm very touchy about when I go over my car that I've noticed the first time I ever used it that I left a little bit of streaking and when I went over at the second time it was less and then when I went over the third time it was great so I've always learned that the three coats actually does work very well
Brilliant video i have the Maguire's compound well over 3 years used it once and found that getting it off was tough watching this video I've seen were I went wrong and applied to much will definitely be trying it again when the weather is good and taking my time as for the ceramic wax I've heard horror stories of left to long it sticks to the paint and hard to get off
I think temperature has a huge part to play. I've never really had problems with it but I can imagine in extreme heat it could potentially be hard to remove . Happy new year 🎉🌟
@@epicautomotivedetailing will definitely be using the Maguire's by hand lol happy new year bud
I've caught the bug in polishing my car. Can the middle product be skipped and just use the first and last? Great video and superbly enjoyable!
FINALLY! A video that answered all my questions! Thank you very much, sir!
Glad to help! thank you
I have been heading down the Rabbit Hole of trying to do my FIRST detailing of my BMW Z3.
Thanks!
Thank you. I normally rinse it out after a few passes or it can build up quite a bit
Great advice
Some people have car dryers or lead blowers to help too
You should make a full in-depth video for beginners who want to make a detailing business!
Hello yes I have a business playlist
hi and thanks so much im about to do my 1st cut and polish tomorrow using these products, i found the video very helpful so so hopefully it will work out fine for me cheers.
Yeh I hear us, j prefer polishing by hand ✋

Jim
I've been testing one and done compound. It's crazy pricy but have to say in terms of being slightly easier I'd say it has the edge
@@epicautomotivedetailing thanks. I look forward to the new video! I’m interested if the Meguiars compound and polish are still the ones to go for!
@@tonywall8393 I would say a brand called zvizzer, medium cut and an orange pad are the best I've ever used with a machine polisher. I also have a bottle of rupes uno protect coming soon
I used this very approach on a mat bike that I wanted gloss look amazing now best compound I have used also it has to be by hand on a bike video helped a lot thanks
thank you happy to help
Thanks Karl, I remember G3 used to always powder up. Was a nightmare. Meguiars really know how to keep it simple and effective 👌
