Michigander thru and thru. I've fished/hunted this state for 61 years. Here you can fish quiet ANY day of the week. (Selection for hunting the lower is crucial sometimes, over the bridge is easier.) Just found your channel and immediately subbed because I like your work: straight forward without theatrics. Lucus is it? I'm Chris. Looking forward!
@@tymesho thanks a lot for watching and the comment! I’m glad to have ya here!!! Yes Lucas or Luke….or like my wife calls me (I better not say that 🤣)… Thanks again Chris!
@ yeah it should bring the lake levels back up some this year too which is what we need big time! Not that I’m aware of. I have a pretty small family though
Good stuff Iv been bindge watching ( I’m out after knee surgery). But noticed no sturgeon videos. If you want to go sturgeon fishing I have all gear and lots of knowledge of the st Clair river for sturgeon
@@billsmith3923 definitely would like to try it sometime! I work evenings so it can be tough to schedule. I appreciate ya watching my uploads 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 rest up buddy!
@@OpenAirAdventures18 they’re definitely incredible suits! I just wear pajamas underneath them now. Thanks a lot for watching the video I appreciate it!
We did a taste test with bluegill, bass, pike and walleye. All fresh, all cooked the same. Pike and bluegill pretty close, bass second and walleye was last in flavor. Make you wonder!
I went down memory lane this summer and ate a smallmouth and it was so delicious…..almost sweet…reminded me of just a big bluegill. Definitely will be adding some to the stock pile when season opens back up. I absolutely love pike also….better than walleye IMO. Thanks for watching!🤘🏼
@TheOutdoorConquest nice! My 94 year old grandma grew up eating perch out of lake Michigan. One day she tried a perch fillet and said they tasted better skin on, bones left in. So, I cook bluegills with skin on, bones on. No fillets. She was right!
You what to try something that you'll never use a decoy again. A Golf ball, Paint 1/2 of it red put it on a 40 lb. black line. before you set it in the water, spin the line one way or the other. Set it 3/4 of the way down the pike will put their nose right on it.
I’ve seen this in videos recently and am definitely going to make one and take it out to try it. Thanks a lot for watching and the comment I appreciate it!🤘🏼

I find it hilariously ironic that "somebody" has also put out a "spearing video" today as well. (Told ya somebody was trying to "imitate" the real McCoy. )🔱🤨🤐🤦🏻 Beautiful fish by the way, always enjoy my little previews lol
I must have missed something I didn't see all them Pike he was talking about or even the two at once in the hole. You showed the one he speared two or three times and then that little scrawny one. Oh it is a fishing video though so that explains it😂
When the one I speared came into the hole the first time and bit the decoy you can clearly see a smaller pike in the top corner swim off at that moment. Thanks for watching and the comment!🤘🏼
The only thing I don't like is you kill the fish. I sport fish and I try not to kill any fish. You can hook them and let them go but to each to there own.

@ definitely not a gated community it’s just a populated public lake. Lake Orion, MI to be exact. I’m with you. I’ll take Pike over anything else. Delish.
Great video man! You definitely had some really good action through the whole video. The pike were fired up and the camera angles were sweet 🔥🔥
Thanks dude!
Great video, Drew. 🔱 🤓
Those glasses are PERFECT for the spearing video, man. Well worth it.
