If you are deaf, you would not hear that train. The lights are still on though, so I hope anyone there would look both ways before crossing it. But that is very dangerous.

She literally walked ON the ice path when she could have avoided it. She either did it on purpose as an excuse to go back to bed, or by accident because she’s an idiot.
4:56 If you ever see a crossing malfunction like this or have a vehicle/object on the tracks in the US there's a small blue sign that has a phone number to call and the crossing number. Calling the train dispatcher directly through that phone number on the sign will get the info to the train operator faster than dialing 911. Still call 911 after though. The railroads aren't always the greatest at sharing information.
Whenever I see compilations I look forward to as I know there's bound to be, people slipping/falling off their own steps come rain, snow or shine it seems.
You want sand, it will create friction and thus traction. Salt will only work well if it is above a certain temperature and if the sun is out. Plus salt destroys vehicles.

That train video is absolutely wild. People could have died so easily. How does that even happen?
Water in the control box shorting out the relays.
Or maybe the sensors on the tracks could be malfunctioning if there was any ice blocking the sensors
