Great video full of helpful ways to improve too short a life for a $1 each bait, thanks. I was researching many of these helpful videos in preparation of giving both 2.5" & 3.5" baits a go. I heard one video presenter who hadn't thought to use Owner's Beast EWG screw-lock hooks, but confidently promoted his belief that the 4/0 would work well (for the 3.5"). I haven't though heard any feedback from anyone who has actually had some experience using them. Also, I ran across Eagle Claw's Lazer Sharp EWG with keeper (like those used on flipping hooks). Mustad also has a Trokar version of this same or similar hook in a more heavy duty version called Trokar Extra-Wide Gap Magnum Hooks with Baitpin and Z-Bend. Have you had any occasion to use or hear about those hooks for the larger sizes ?

Lack of respect for fellow folks on the water. Entitled thinking he can not be held to protocols already established. Karma is hunting to powerboater and will soon have it's way. I run a 20 ft 100 hp and would have slowed down and swung wider to pass , but I respect my fellow water, paddle boarders, yaks and canoes, and sail or power boats.

Deer camos have changed when i was younger 70s 80s that was camp life but ,niw days there's nit that many hunters now days ,,i enjoy these channels watch evers bodies camp

Awesome video, really enjoyed it. Congratulations. Ive seen alot of big bucks living out in stuff like you were hunting. I saw a ton of late morning movement friday and saturday. I shot my buck at 945 saturday morning in western st clair county. Saw a ton of deer midday friday and saturday.

The problem most of the time is these kayaks are right in the channel or river where boats need to run and act like they own the dang lake. They can run anywhere they want, especially where big boats can't. Be responsible.

Excellent video! Just bought my 1st fishing boat. Your video is very helpful. Do you ever use a trolling motor in the Detroit River or do you mostly drift down and power your way back upstream? Looks like many guys use their trolling motor to offset the current. You are an excellent fishing instructor. Thank You!
