Thanks this worked for me. I wasn’t able to connect my PS4 to the internet, tried everything, but the reset worked. Just make sure you have a good USB cable when it comes to reconnecting your controller again.

How about if you have no TV and you use Remote Play to play your games and it won't let you go into the system settings to change them in remote play

@@KryptonianChaos1 yeah, I had to try multiple but the one that worked for me was a really long cable with the usb symbols.

i have heard that if you plug your PS directly into the router it should stop this issue im yet to try this today, im having the same issue as you at the moment trying to figure it out tho i swear this never happened until i downloaded the new call of duty, could it be lack of space as i only have a 500gb slim console? pro or?

I had a problem with my cable that the ps4 isn’t detecting the cable at all
, so i asked around and I found a fix.
First if u are on the regular PS4, make sure that you connection is on 2.4 Ghz, the original PS4 supports only that.
Then make sure that the ethernet cable colors are in this order if u are gonna make them.
Brown
Light brown
Green
Light BLUE
Blue
light GREEN
Orange
Light orange.
What really fixed my problem is the color order.
This didn’t work for my Ethernet when I test connection the internet connection part says failed

You should probably fix this video with an annotation it does indefinitely delete your Application Saved Data if you DO NOT have PS+ !!!!! Just an FYI, didn’t happen to me but I thought about if I had done it on a non ps+ account my data woulda been fried.

I think i know why this is happening its because I'm far from my router and i have weak signal i think they best ideal is to buy a netgear or a long Ethernet cable but ever since i changed my dns settings a lot it start happening
Definitely the dns settings changing it too much makes it run slower and worse. my guy turn off the ps4 then plug it to restore the cashe
