- Do you want to know how to fix your PS4 not connecting to WIFI and other Network Issues? When your PS4 won't connect to wifi, it can be frustrating. In this video, I will show you 6 easy steps to follow, that will guide you on fixing most PS4 Network Issues you are having. Most common fixes on the PS4 can be solves by simply restarting your wireless router/modem.
Also, take in consideration the distance your PS4 is to your wireless router. Sometimes going through to many walls can weaken the strength of the wifi signal. Slowing down your PS4 download / upload speeds. Other times, playstation network maybe down and that is what's causing your connection issues on your PS4, so make sure to check to see the status of Playstation Network. When all else false, hit the restore system default button your PS4. This will reset all the settings on your PS4 without deleting your PS4 games or saved data. ...

Hopefully that's not the case! Right now I'm having problems with internet connection. It's not connecting. Keep saying failed connection and I try everything in the book that you can think of or read.
“cannot connect to server so network features for this application unavailable” .... that’s the most annoying shit ever. My internet connection is usually about 85%

For me everything about my internet works 100% fine except for PS4 like I could go on my switch and play Mario kart or watch inside out on disney plus but half the time I can’t play cod modern warfare on my ps4

my ps4 wont even recognize my home wifi, itll find nearby wifis but not the one for my house that ived used for years.. itll find and connect to my phones hotspot but my home wifi wont even pop up when its searching for it.. any ideas?

I just had this problem for the pass half hour. I had to restart my ps4 about 5 times then I connected it to my hotspot. Reset my router like he said for about 60 seconds instead of 30 wanted to give it that extra juice. When I turned off my ps4 I kept my hotspot connected to it and unplugged it from the outlet for about a min and then I turned my hotspot off while the ps4 was rebooting and was able to connect to my home WiFi. Now I’m not sure how long this will last my fingers crossed it will work for you all. Blessings

Edit 2: Turns out the lan cable it works and a lan cable came with my router
Are you able to see the signal strength before it disconnects? Maybe it's too far and is dropping the signal.

Well you are lucky I'll never be able to play my Playstation 4 again. All I can do is watch movies on it. I'm going to see if I can sell it for 50 dollars but I'll accept 30 dollars. It works perfectly other than it can't connect to 5g which is my internet.

I noticed I was lagging on my ps4 bad so I checked my internet in the settings and it disconnected. And I use a Ethernet cable which I thought was odd. Then for the next 45 minuets I tried everything I could to get it to connect and still nothing. The next day I tried even more stuff and still nothing. Every time I try it can’t connect to the internet fast enough or can’t find the IP address in time. I have restarted both my ps4 and router multiple times and still nothing

Yea when connected to my WiFi my signal strength was at 76% it needs to be 80% and high for no lag. After watching this video , my signal strength went up to 84% thank god this worked

Balling Money Plays mine fixed over time sometimes it happens but now most of the time it doesn’t I just followed what the instructions said and put the WiFi closer to my ps4

Thanks for your help, after I tried all possible procedures including epic support who directed me to playstation support who ignore me explaining that they don't understand the problem because everything works ok (network connection lost). After a series of unsuccessful attempts through several youtube guides I found your channel where in one of the steps you mentioned reset default settings on ps4 which solved the problem.

After putting in my WiFi password I get stuck on a loading screen and can’t do anything else. My ps4 (by the way I have 2 both are having connection problems) they both constantly disconnect and reconnects when it feels like it

Thanks for the information. I hadn't had my PlayStation hooked to the internet for some time. Reconnected the Wi-Fi and set the DNS, all of a sudden, she is working again. Now waiting for all the updates to get finished!
So I think I have a very unique situation. I can connect to the internet, I can connect to PSN, I Test my internet and I have NAT Type 2, I have pretty decent download and upload (usually somewhere between 40-60 & 3-5). But I’ll be playing with friends on a game or be playing a different game in a party with friends, & I’ll start having an issue to where it goes back and forth between being connected & saying “connect to the internet” even though I’m still in the online game and in the party but the game lags and cuts up, & my friends cut out. Any ideas? I’m wirelessly connected btw.

I tried to call ebgames for them to fix it, they didn't fix it, so what I did i TH-cam a video to take the hard drive out and clean it, that's what you needed to do, and then download this server to re clean the gaming console you'll find this on the ps4 website. All of that was a lie I threw my PlayStation out the window (literally) bought a new one

It's not my wi-fi. it my neighbourhood' s wi fi so I when I connect with my ps4 it's says (cannot connect to the wi-fi network the wpa password might not be correct)
And the wi-fi it's working on my phone

I used to have a secondary WiFi that i was using all the time, ever since it randomly disappeared one day it switched back to my primary WiFi and it's been allowing me to be in online lobbied for let's say 2 full length battlefield matches until throwing me out. Don't know why it happens but it's very frustrating. This happens for every online game I'm in

So we lost electricity in my town, and I think that might’ve had something to do wit my WiFi, because it’s not just my PS4, everyone of my devices connects to the WiFi but the WiFi doesn’t work

Ps4 pro disconnects from internet every 10-15 minutes and go to test connection and it reconnects. All other devices on wifi are still connected and work at this time even a regular ps4 slim works. Any ideas on what could be the problem?? Ive tried switching from automatic to 2.4ghz and 5 but it keeps happening. Even checked my router dont know what the problem is, please help

Truq YT contact your internet provider. It could be on them or your plan may not have a large enough bandwidth to play that type of game. Had bandwidth issues with gaming back when I was in college several years ago

You don’t choose DNS servers like that all depends where you live Supposed to go to DNS benchmark and tester fast as DNS in your area and you choose that one
