Impressive! That's what makes a 3000+ player though, being able to overcome his own blunder against a player of your caliber. I mean that as a sincere compliment

online it's quite common for top players Magnus, Hikaru, Alireza, Fabi, Gukesh etc. all have 3000+ elo online (which is unofficial) and 2700+ over the board which is official fide rating
highest online in blitz is 3377 by magnus, Hikaru has his peek bullet rating at 3570, rapid is much lower since less top players play that, however in official fide rating magnus has the peak with 2882.
@@Bankmumricoh interesting that’s why rapid has a lower peak? That kinda makes sense but is weird, I don’t like that the number of players playing makes a difference
There should be a minimum of 3 seconds added per move in every mode... So the players could at the very least contemplate the position in situations like this. Or the timer could be set to 5 seconds, if you have less than that... But chess becomes quite meaningless when you need to just make moves as fast as possible, without having any chance to think whatsoever.
The opinion that a minimum of 3 seconds should be added per move overlooks the core appeal of faster time controls like blitz and bullet, which rely on quick thinking and intense decision-making. These formats encourage players to manage both their position and clock, sharpening skills like intuition and speed. Adding extra time would reduce the pressure and excitement these modes bring, making the game less dynamic and simply boring imo... Chess already offers a range of time controls, and introducing a blanket rule for all modes would undermine not only the thrill of faster-paced games, but also remove things like flagging etc.
@@Stockfisher you speak as if 3 seconds is something significant... That's pretty short time too. But it will be more than just "barely enough to make a move, without thinking about it".
@@nomisatan1814 can you even contemplate what your opponent did and make a move within one second anyways? Technically you can anticipate a bunch of moves they can make, but if they make a move you didn't see, then you can't. Of course, 3 seconds wouldn't be enough for contemplation either, but at least you can overcome the "stun" from the unexpected move.
@@Khantia You underestimate how good the pattern recognition is in chess players (and move pruning / figuring out what an opponent is planning after a certain move). Also keep in mind that Anna was also able to think about a follow up while her opponents time was running out. Both players get an equal amount of time that they have to manage accordingly, if they decide to spend almost all their time on one move, that's their choice, at the end of the day, it started off as equal. 3 seconds increment is indeed significant and can easily build up to 10 minutes if the player is able to make a decent move in less than 3 seconds each time on average. I'm simply of the opinion that we don't need one general 3 second increment rule on every single chess variant, that would make chess worse overall...

Been playing chess for 45 years and you are one of the most impressive players on short time. Keep up the great work.
Come on! Anna Cramling her world ranking is about 30000!

I think "being able to overcome his own blunder against a player of your caliber" applies to every rating if you're playing someone much weaker lol
Guitar music is honestly bad ass.
i’m super new to chess, started playing 2 days ago, what happened @ 1:14 anna used her own pawn and got rid of her queen? i’m very confused
she correctly assumed that he would take her queen so she premoved the pawn to take back the opponents queen (sorry if this doesnt make sense)
I really liked that Roy Williams instrumental.
You got a second wind and that was incredible to see.
THE OH NO OH NO AT THE START THO
Wow! The stream has just ended😮
Jep, we missed it. ;)
No one is doing more to promote chess that you Anna. Chess Princess
TIL the instrumental to Solo flying han style slaps this hard

Why didn't he take the bishop with the queen at the beginning ?
If he takes the bishop then Qxb2 and a free rook
😂😂this is why we're not gm yet I didn't see that I would have taken the bishop @@zucchini-slice
nice!
Wait is there really a player with a 3000 rating?
3000 online, its not the same ELO as over the board

Wow that music was loud.
Wow, nice game. It was still pretty even in the late-midgame before nf6. Still don't quite get why it's a mistake though.
Think you inherited your mother’s lack if time concern so close!
Salut la românii mei 🇷🇴

It's very disrespectful for every GM not to use the cow opening 🐮
What?🤷its disrespectful to every chess player that you commented that.
Why do you spend half of time on one medium move? Then you keep saying its crazy you got so little time???
