    You got some great parts!

      Yeah but I'm not convinced these are worth the shipping and import taxes though. Owning a landcrusher in Europe is tough!

      I'm in Oz, newcastle. Mines done 380ks, it's been welled after. Serviced every 5k, has a 2" lift, a chip, 3" exhaust, drawers, compressor, big roof basket, uhf and more. This is my 3rd lc 100. It's my favourite by far. So good to know you can trust what your driving. You'll be so happy with yours especially doing the work personally. Well done

      Very true - I find these days I have trust issues with garages, so I'm learning myself. Computers are usually my thing so spanners take a lot more effort for me.

    Hi!
    I bought AHC lift kit from japan4x4. Spacers for every strut. And King springs KTRS-79 +30mm spacers from Australia. I adjusted AHC pressures using techstream and was able to lift my LC100 3 inches. Excellent products and drives beautiful.
    Do you have two LC 100 at the moment?

      Oh are these the infamous "stedman" spacers? I was thinking about getting a set of those, assuming they're even made nowadays.
      I've got two, one nice one and one that's got a knackered engine

      @@landcruiserscotland yes, from Dave Stedman. I bought 2 years ago so I assume those are still for sale. Also have bought Toyota parts from him also. That lift kit is 120 pounds with shipping.
      Nice that you have two LC 100! Excellent!
      I have HDJ 100 and my wife has KDJ 120.

      I'll drop him an email and see if they're still making them. There's a thread on ih8mud with his contact details. Thanks!

    Hey there, did you get this Dobinson's kit because the previous AHC work (King springs + spacer + sensor adjustments) failed?

    • @landcruiserscotland
      @landcruiserscotland  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I got it because I wanted some more caster on the front suspension and to give more clearance to the uca, however I didn't fit it because it would have made the front tyre swing too close to the rear of the wheel arch with my 35s. My spacer keeps the tyre off the stock upper control arm instead. Tinkerers adventure does a few very helpful videos about this

      @@landcruiserscotland Thank you! So the suspension has been working fine with just the King springs, the spring spacer and the sensor adjustments? No other work was done under there? I'm about to do the same (because I added steel bumpers & want the Kings there to support the permanent extra weight) and have heard so many people suggest additional work such as a rear dif drop...

    Anthony from “Fourby4diesel” TH-cam channel in Australia, rates Dobinsons as the best on the market. So you should be well pleased.

    Australian Super Pro -blue bushes are the best urethane bushings . Poor quality urethane wear grooves in the steel parts , the recipe /ingredients effects longevity . Poor ingredients cause bushings to crumble .

      @landcruiserscotland  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think folks need to just replace their bushes more often. They all wear and crumble eventually. Folks think they live forever, but all my old cars need new bushes!

      Quality urethane does not wear steel parts or crumble . Cheap bushings wear steel very easily and donot take shock loads ,they squeek ,and have a shelf life .
      Been using super pro for suspension bushings to replace rubber that are high wear ,hard to access or replace . They perform similar to rubber and act like a tough rubber material and easily outperform other leading brands EG Pedders / Nolthane Iron man /Tough Dog etc . Fitted to mining utes ewhich are overloaded every day . Life span for these utes is 2 years new to rusty & worn out @@landcruiserscotland
