This has a lot of good info. For anyone who doesn't have a press, sandblaster, or isn't very good with fab or general dad activities and you're looking for adjustable/non-adjustable tubular A-arms on a budget, or even just getting into F-Bodies, I would suggest Spohn Performance. They make good products and I haven't heard much bad from them, and they're consistently cheaper than most other aftermarket suspension brands for F-Bodies. UMI and BMR are my go-to but they can be quite a bit more expensive. MWC and Heidts are also good (and expensive). The build is coming along nicely, can't wait to see what else you do with it!
I've been very impressed with the UMI and BMR products on this car. I haven't tried Spohn yet but will definitely keep them in mind, thanks for that! Appreciate the kind words!
Nice work on these. I ended up mangling mine trying to push out yhe old bushings in the liwer arms. After that u said no thanks and bought the UMI road race liwers. The uppers i just replaced with oe style arms. Good call on the upper control arm brakets though while you had it apart. Thats no small project, definitely a "while you are in there" deal.

Well, you got a great components to work with. UMI makes some great suspension bits, so it's probably a blessing in disguise for you anyway.
