I have to agree with others.... Cutting up an original gen ll Z28? As nice as this one "was" to start with, this should have been a restoration not a distruction.... Up side, it makes the rest of them worth that much more.....😊
Anybody else remember when they had good informative hosts? Doing the main hoop, he says the total length it needed to be, and then 0 about figuring out the bends or anything else involved..... or hey, lets make a bracket, I'll just head over to my plasma table...so relatable 😂 Weird build, put all that good stuff on the front, move the motor, but then stick with leafs in the back?
Great build guys but I don’t understand a couple of things.. Why didn’t you paint the top of the cage before installing the roof? You are all very concerned about using the correct PPE, yet you are using grinders without guards??
Sure can't understand doing that too an original Z28 when there is so many other Gen 2 Camaros out there that would have been excellent candidates! Just saying! PEACE ✌️
Great build and really enjoyed watching your video! I had a 72 RS SS Camaro just out of high school and sold it before i left for my new USAF base in Italy way back in the early 80's. Makes me wish I still had it!
Man, I had a 72 dark green camaro with the black landeu top back in like 1987- 1992 or so? Biggest regret I've ever had was selling it. Wonder if that's my old one? Sad thing is though is that I don't have any of the info on it. Got lost in the 5 moves and 2 marriages over the last 35 years.
Hate to see such a solid camaro butchered like this mainly because the split bumper is my favorite of all the camaros. We've all seen much worse classic cars brought back to full glory and this one was perfect for a restoration or resto-mod but not this.
I like how they use regular safety glasses while cutting metal having sparks flying everywhere instead of using goggles Sparks can get inside of regular safety glasses. But when using chemicals then they decide to use goggles. LoL
You ran fuel lines next to the driveshaft, the transmission, the bell housing. Pretty sure that will fail tech inspection. A driveline failure could rupture those lines and cause a massive fire. Bad, bad idea.
Another beautiful rare classic destroyed by some idiots. If your gonna build a race car don't use something that is desirable to put back on the road use something that nobody wants to ever put back together and make nice again. I still can't believe you cut up a split bumper Z28camaro ..... bad move guys. Seriously bad carma.
What’s you two guys major malfunction? Why destroy a numbers matching Gen II Z28 and for what? An inline 6, why not. A 307, maybe, but butcher an original factory muscle? That’s unjustly. There’s a lot of things in life what’s not to do and this is one of them. SMFH.
I thought the third gen Camaro they chopped up was bad enough, this takes the cake! Good god
I've been watching Power Nation since it started, This is my favorite episode ever, Awesome Build!

Was the sound not synchronized for anyone else? Just wondering
Was in the beginning then it went off

Pulling ol girl apart wouldve been a pleasure...so clean.😊
You guys should have run ladder bars or four links with them coil overs, instead of frigging leaf springs. In short, you should have back halved it❤
Hey dumb a... They're building a corner Carver not a drag car.
The real hero is that drill bit at the 47:24 - 47:45
Great show. I prefer power nation over MotorTrend.

@@thralldumehammerAm a Mopar guy too from Sweden
Totally agree
@LogicalLighting Great minds think alike brother! PEACE ✌️
yeah like my 1979 Camaro I bought for $2500. They made more of those than any other year. I painted some insane stuff on it on my channel
That looks fun.nice build

💙! this camaro
This car had the will to survive for 51 years until it got in the hands of these guys.
Really? All that gorgeous interior?
When they were marking the holes for the rear deck lid they could have removed the fuel cell and went through there to mark the holes work smart guys
That car didn't look bad before it was chopped up. It wasn't a rust bucket. You ruined a great original car.

2:57 What's going on with the vise?
Why are the rockers installed in the firing order? Is it due to the cam lobs being at TDC or?
just listen to that motor sing , wow.
So let me understand this, because this beautiful example of an increasingly rare car had a dent in it
You think it's time to cut it up?

im at 18,973 dollars, bringing my ratty 71 Camaro back from the dead and its no where this kind of effort. this build must be 200,000 dollars?????
What is the totaly cost of this rebuild?
Not doing any corrosion treatment or paint on frame or undercarriage?
Victor Frankenstein wouldn't have done this to this car.
👌
👍
Love the car but the wing would be gone so fast, spoiler looks so much better for that car
Whats different about this "director's cut" version?
iI hate seeing a classic Camaro butchered into a race car. Can't even watch this happen!
I love it the parts are somewhat straight we're only building a race car. LoL
Oh yea, this is the "Let's take a pristine condition 70's Camaro , and hack the sh*t out of it" episode.
Took a nice classic car and phuktitup.
Yo that junk the back shows they should have used hood pins a lot cheaper and not a lot of trouble to put in
How do you ensure you make the rear flares symmetrical to each other instead of having two different potato-shapes?
Oh, I see... you don't
Watched this years ago. Not sure who these two fellas are. I remember lots of hosts. But these two I dont recall. Both look the same. 😅
😂 when you have an unlimited
corporate bank roll driving your
blasphemous attempts at hot
rodding.....

You should turn that ball cap around so you don’t look so silly
1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS
😩
So you welded solid bars out front to a car that has a bolted in cross member on polyurethane bushings..
Yeah it won’t crack..
When was the last time you just picked up an axle housing? Lol
I love the hairstyle it's like something from Star wars. LoL
theres jimbob. have u seen your dad? i jusr asked u that yesterday. long time no here... lol
Nice🎉

Can it spray plasti dip
This is why I quit watching the show. It's ok to take a basket case junkyard car and gut it out but a perfectly great car and ruin it nah crazy
Their ruining a perfect original car..stupid..
Agreed, preach
I agree
What a way to ruin a beautiful car.
the good old days are gone and soon old peeps will be too. count your days, and your luck.
This car has been wrecked before, perfect candidate to make a race/track car.
Cry about it to yo mama.
Shut your mouth up bro let them do what they want to
I didn't see anything wrecked. I must have missed it.I would prefer a street legal race car.At the track they have more rules than law's on the street
@@no-purpose-herehow do you know the OP is old?
