En effet, prestation remarquable. Jouer du Klezmer lentement est très difficile, car il est nécessaire de soigner les glissandi et les effets... Well Done. Brilliant! Pure pleasure!
haha omg the guy who played first is pretty cute. and no, i did not only focus on him. hahaha. i think this sounded so awesome. like i never really heard just individual clarinets playing together since i'm like in a band and stuff. and this sounds really good!!!! the bass clarintest's air is sooo strong! love it!
I've known this piece now for quite a long time, and just now I discovered the one playing the solo is David Orlowsky of the David Orlowsky trio that I listened a lot to later on. He's actually the most inspiring klezmer player to me, because he holds on to play with a beautiful tone and not neccessarily copy the squeeky way they did it originally. I just don't really like it that way, even though some purist claim it should be played like that because of those old recordings of the beginning of the 20th century. Later he made some really good albums with the old klezmer, but I love the way he wrote his own work a lot, which seems to be inspired by folk music and klezmer a lot too.
i play clarinet and this is a GREAT performance!!! they make u feel like ur part of the song--that's the best way i can explain it. i like the girl's movements too.
The clarinet is an amazing flexable instrument, and can be good on its own, but as a group i think its amazing, ( i play one myself, and love every minute of it) This is simply beautiful, and goey.
the bass was awesome!!! i thought the girl on the right of the video was great as well!! i think she would have done fantastic in the solo part.......she was really into it !!!!!!
@aeroflying I'm sure of it....notice the angle they're sitting at....she would have to do a much more exaggerated tone to get a good look at the cross....and pretty clear judging form her eye angle she was looking at the "guitarist" on the entrance.
Well, the bass clarinet babe is the only one who doesn't totally suck. She is actually quite awesome. A sort of clarinet rock star and has the leather pants to prove it!
may be I dont know what is classical music but I m sure that this is kleitzmer this is not what u wanted to say:) bytheway I am not ur darling!! got it? clear???? :)))

Funny about the cross I suppose it just shows the transcendence of this beautiful music.

wow it takes alot of time just to play the high notes for me and it looks so effortless to them, like they're talking.
@musicqueenyana you have no idea how much gripe their agent got for booking that event

Sorry, Jews are NOT Christians! Jesus WAS a nice guy, though. Just not the Messiah.
