I went to lpn school in2009. I did. Work part time in the evening, and went to school from 8-4 5 days a week. The program was 10 months roughly. It was actually harder than getting my RN. Lol
I'm starting LVN School here in Texas either October (depending if my financial aid goes through) if not come January 2025. Although I don't want to, but I may have to end up selling my home because I won't be able to work full-time. I may work part time come on the weekends. Definitely appreciate your perspective. Almost everyone I know of didn't work while they were in school.
i got lucky and landed a factory job that allow me to use pto whenever i want without asking for permission. i seen that majority or nursing programs dont tell you what day and time the clinicals are until the start of the semester but it typically ranges from 7am-11p so i use 1 hour of pto to leave early or come in late.
So I am at a community college but it's still accelerated. We are on summer break right now which I have to take gernatalogy to fulfill my prerequisites. Then we go back for 2more 8 weeks terms and will be done in December. Ours grade is 78% to pass not 80% but close enough. I have 2 children and am fortunate enough to not have to work. My children are my job. 2years and under Lol. We have lost like half our class so far do to not making that 78%. We are half way through the course.
Can you please do a video on places to apply as a new grad LVN and what are some green flags and red flags during application process I should watch out for! Thank you kindly!

I work full time as a CNA NOC shift and I’m thinking of going back to school for my lvn but I’m kinda scared since I’m already deprived from sleep

If you are working when you start your program check with your unemployment office you may qualify for unemployment while in school.
