Hello everyone!! Just wanted just to clarify, we're not quitting TH-cam, I was just talking about what I would like to do if TH-cam ever goes away. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry anyone! :-) We hope you're having a great Saturday!
Thank god!! I legit got scared! Your videos have become like an escape for me!! I originally found your channel in 2018 when I was looking for Disney park vloggers, and I have been hooked since then cuz your channel turned out to be the perfect fit for me!! Thank you Tim and Jen!
My heart sank when I saw “My plans after TH-cam”!!! Thank you for clarifying. Would miss you guys SOOO much!!! Of course you guys don’t owe us anything and you are entitled to your own life outside of sharing it with us, but just wanted you to know how much we appreciate you 😊
I totally understand how you feel about Factor! I also stopped using Hello Fresh after 2 years and switched to Home Chef and my fiance and I are LOVING IT. The ingredients are fresher and the recipes don't feel repetitive + they're delicious! We usually tend to add an extra side but it gives us an opportunity to clean something out of our fridge/pantry. We've been using it for like 6 months now and are beyond happy! Maybe you've tried it? Maybe not? Still wanted to share with you! Sending hugs from Oregon! Wishing you all a great weekend! ☺
I am a regular watcher, and I have to say that Jackson's speech and voice have improved and changed, and Oliver is speaking, too; where has the time gone?🥹 I can't believe how fast both of them are growing! I am so happy for you guys! 🥰
That title worried me. You are for many, a happy, safe place alongside Jenn and we feel a bit like your distant friends. Thank you for all you do and share with us. Thank you for bringing us so much joy. You're there in our ups and downs and i hope you feel the support from us in your to.
I’m a pediatric nurse practitioner and it takes at least a year to feel super confident on telling if an ear is infected or not. It’s surprisingly difficult especially with the little cuties that move around
You guys should join Costco. They have a section in the fridge area with easy dinner options. They are generally healthy, easy to make, and they change them up every now and then. Or maybe look into getting a sous vide, sous vide cooking is fast and easy and doesn’t require a lot of attention.
Sooo happy to hear you guys are not leaving youtube anytime soon. You all are a daily anticipation of the next new video of information/entertainment. Adore you guys! Thank you for all you do!
I'm currenly going through a big eating change to balance out some blood work. The processed meat with that sodium level is really bad. You will feel poorly after having that. I live south of you so I get the heat. The bagged salads at Publix with fresh fruit is a refreshing meal. PUblix has BOGO all the time in the pruduce area too. I love your videos, thanks.💖
Oliver’s library is so great!!! -Librarian Paige P.S. I’ve been going through a very tough time lately, and you guys just gave me my first belly laugh in a good couple of weeks. And it means all that much more to me that it was via an in-depth discussion of Star Wars lore ❤ thank you both.
Audiologists, here. Please do not just go get an otoscope or other tools to "diagnose" your own child with an ear infection. It took me lots of practice looking in people's ears before Ireally understood what I was looking at.
@@okaygonzo no shit, as they always should, but inner ear stuff is serious and always needs to be addressed by a doctor. Do not be dismissive of a notion because the action and result was different.
This might be a good suggestion to incorporate for Jackson’s summer. One of the things my school had offered to do over the summer was a reading program where you would win prizes after reading a certain amount of books over the summer. It had really gotten me to love reading more because of it.
Sixth grade educator here….Yes, to all the slang!! 😂 And yes, we still use pencil and paper. There is actually a move away from using technology all the time, as we learn more about what screen time does to the brain. In my school, we use a balanced approach of technology and paper assignments.
My 2 cents on food prep. Have a notepad on your fridge and write down items as you run out. Make a notebook with your favorite recipes. Sit down the same day each week and do a weeks worth of meal planning. Depending on how busy each day will help determine how much time you will have to cook. You can also factor in leftover days. Use your Note pad and recipes to mage a grocery list. This way you go to the store once a week
Nice little extra added touch with the wakka-wakka; Fozzie Bear throw-back!! I'm totally impressed. Another talented genius that we lost far too early in life!!
Mom to 3 toddlers here! In relation to pediatric appointments: The worst part is when you call to speak with a nurse for recommendations and they say your child needs to be seen… then they send you home with nothing😅😂
The best thing I’ve done for easy meals is using the crock pot. Put some chicken in there and a few hours later, boom- shredded chicken tacos and bowls, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc. or pork or beef. Soup, meatballs, there’s a ton of stuff. It’s made my dinner so much easier and healthier too.
Thanks for clarifying TH-cam comment..also, I appreciate your Factor review..I’ve seen it from other Influencers and the Factor van in my neighborhood. You gave your honest review and showed calories, carbs, sodium, etc. I have been curious about Factor..enjoy your weekend..
maybe you could pick a day and make a few homemade meals in advance then just reheat since you also have the boys with other foods. I used to try and do that sometimes when my son was younger
I used to get ear infections all the time as a young kid, and almost got tubes but turns out it was just allergies, once treatment started on that, it cleared up
One of their meals has more sodium than I eat in an entire day. Tim is right. It is ridiculous and unhealthy to put that much sodium in them. Ultra processed food is just bad.
When I was getting Factor I loved the salmon dishes, chicken, and there was a specific steak one, what I would do was put my in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes on a plate and would add my own sauce and they turned out ok. I never had good luck with just microwave meals I prefer the oven.
We have used the KETO factor meals for two years….took two weeks to get used to the portion size and Steve lost 100 lbs in a year and I lost 70 lbs in that same time….also the meals are already cooked and never frozen….the 2:30 second warm up is all you need to get it piping hot but not cooking it to death…I use a paper plate under when cooking and it sits covered piping hot until we are ready… we have no discounts and we pay 129 for 2 people 5 meals per week…we just do it for dinners… weekends free for my own cooking… salt is the least of worries and 30% of your daily intake allowance is just right for 1/3 of your eating…I really think if you just microwave it and not create 7 hundred dishes it’s so what your looking for…yes the portions are small but it’s what you will need if you are trying to drop lbs and make dinner easy! Maybe your meal prep per isn’t doing it well too…but I’m not quite sure if that’s a regional Thing…did you try the salmon??? I know Tim would t want that but those a bigger meals and quite good…try the keto selections… meat and veggies…none of the carbs that make you gain…
Each time you guys switched home delivery meals, I switched. Now I’m hesitant on trying Factor. I always see their delivery vans in my neighborhood and considered them. I’m currently using Cook Unity
Our pediatrician will check her blood count. High white blood cell count means there is an infection, and low white blood cell count means there is a virus. As well as looking in the ear or swabbing her throat. Our daughter stopped getting ear infections around 4 years old. We almost needed tubes.
We tried home chef the oven ready meals and they were good! Most of the food is pre chopped but you put it together and make it in the foil pan they give you. It is easier to make and still is like a fresh cooked meal.
Regarding the sodium content, that’s pretty average for a prepackaged cold/frozen meal. It’s not terrible, to be honest. Honestly, most food these days is packed with sodium unless you cook fresh and control your seasoning. Virtually every restaurant and theme park loads food with sodium. Any time you eat out, lots of sodium.
When I ordered Factor, my stomach would bloat and get really hard. I couldn't figure out why until I realized how much sodium was in the meals and I was eating one for lunch and one for dinner. I think they are OK but I cancelled after two weeks. It just really upset my stomach. Jen, I love the Dorinda reference!!! LOL Love watching the kids interact. They are growing up so fast!!
Kids are always bringing home a new virus of the week. 2 of my kids had so many ear infections and got tubes. Always good to get it checked out to avoid any potential complications. It’s been a few years but our pediatrician’s philosophy was to treat with antibiotics when they were young and as they get older their ear structure changes a bit so then sees if they can beat it without antibiotics first.
I never take my kids in where they sick. We just do teledoc visits when necessary, & if they suggest we be seen in person we do that. But we try to avoid being in a doctors office when unnecessary so we don’t catch worse sicknesses & such.
Re: ear tubes; get a 2nd and/or 3rd opinion about swimming/going under water. My son had ear tubes and it was believed then that you will go deaf if you get water in your ears with ear tubes. ❤ I wouldn't take one doctor's opinion on that, because it's too important.
30% of your daily recommended salt intake in one meal is about right, if it was 30% each in Breakfast, lunch and dinner that would be 90% of your daily intake. Am I missing something here?
You might want to check out Tovala meals. You have to get their oven because it bakes, broils and steams your food to cook it. But you scan the code on the food’s box and it sets all the times and modes.
I work as a public education sign language interpreter and I’ll tell ya, the kids don’t use paper and pencil as much as you might think. Everything is on the computer (Chromebook). All assignments, all homework (if they have any), all the teacher’s slides and presentations. We lost internet one day and you would have thought an apocalypse had happened lol
The biggest pain about the tubes is the wax you need to keep them then when you go in like the ocean or lake or a pool, but both my kids had a couple sets and it was the greatest thing
You should try Dinnerly. It’s like HelloFresh and BlueApron but the meals tend to be a bit simpler. There’s a bit more prep (like the cheese doesn’t always come grated) but it’s also the most affordable.
when you do your next QS dining plan video - can you show how it appears in the app and maybe even how you "pay" at the register - we're doing it for the first time next year and i just want to get my head around it before we go into it!
Omg Jen you are so lucky Tim helps you fold clothes. Lol my husband lets me wash, dry and put our clothes away. My 3 kids are thankful adults now so they do it on their own
A humidifier or a nebulizer with just water in it really helps open up the sinuses. I got a cheap one off Temu! It works well for allergies. Sometimes I put essential oils in it to really clear things out.
Yeah, I always wish there would be a definitive test viral vs bacterial. If it's my kids throat I ask them to swab for strep, I least I know for sure if it's strep to get an antibiotic. You also did Martha and Marley spoon, we do Dinnerly sometimes which I think is the similar and less expensive version, and we like it.
I have been feeding my son the same applesauce for the 8 years he's been around and I have never realized there were jokes on the bottom! Now that he can read he's going to be so excited
I also vote for Home Chef. We started using it at the beginning of 2023 after we lost our 17 year old son. I knew we couldn’t eat out all the time but I needed something that involved little prep or effort. The oven ready meals and fast and fresh fit that criteria. Everything is already chopped up, etc. You can also choose a meal kit if there is a time you don’t mind the extra effort. Customer service has been good as well. Love you guys!
Got a good chuckle @19:05...."The flavor's there.....(windows error) but it's also not that great" lol. I though it was my computer, but I have a Mac too
I had Factor for a few months, and started having issues with it as well. Once you get past any initial trial period or discount codes, the cost goes up exponentially! I also started having problems with them not delivering all of the meals, things leaking, etc. So that totally eliminated any convenience factor, because I still had to shop & cook due to the missing meals or meals that could not be safely consumed. I finally made the decision to cancel after I admitted to myself that my favorite meals were the pasta ones, and ones that were basically a chicken breast with simple sides. Those meals are fairly easy to make and the cost of doing it myself just doesn't even compare. It was fun to try, but ultimately didn't make sense to continue!
Blue apron started the option to have prepackaged meals as well as the meals so that's nice if you do blue apron. Publix also has some bags of meal kits you can pick up too. Not sure it's less than eating out but they look good 🤤
Kids get viruses all the time 😭 For my youngest, they also turned into ear infections and getting ear tubes helped a lot! Years later, she still occasionally has viruses that settle in for the long haul and turn into bacterial infections; sounds like Oliver knows how that feels. I hope he feels better soon 🧡
Happy Saturday!! Awww hope oliver gets well soon:).. and yeah pretty much everything prepacked and cooked have soooo much sodium i dont understand why either but cant be good for u sooo hope u find an alternative for the summer to make it a little easier for u jenn. 😊
Hi Tim coming to Disney on the 2nd of September to the 16th. What kind of temperatures are we looking at in September? Is it very warm? What kind of clothes should we bring? Can you give us any more advice on that? If so it would be grateful Jen. I love your cooking. Can you come and cook for me?😀🥂 you too make me laugh you always got a smile on your faces and you’re always happy. Hopefully we’ll bump into you when we’re in Disney and say hello. Look forward to your next video guys.
They can always check the white cell count in his blood to “see” if it’s bacterial, but taking an infant or toddlers blood is a pretty big deal and they won’t want and you won’t want that done. Generally you look at the color of the snot. If it looks like grey poupon mustard then it might be bacterial. lol You guys might want to look at getting your AC ducts cleaned out. This can greatly improve your air quality. We recently had ours replaced because we had gaps and our house was built in the 70’s and they had mold in them. So glad we did that. But since your house isn’t old, a good cleaning can really help.

1/3 of a days sodium in one meal… when you’re supposed to eat 3 meals a day… that’s the proper amount of sodium.
We’ve tried the Factor Keto meals and they were excellent. Keep in mind, the meals are pre-cooked. They only need to be warmed up.
One of their meals has more sodium than I eat in an entire day. Tim is right. It is ridiculous and unhealthy to put that much sodium in them. Ultra processed food is just bad.
People order Factor meals because they are NOT ultra processed.
If we eat 3 meals a day and the sodium is 33% of our daily recommended allowance it sounds like it’s on par to me…🤷🏼♀️

Hearing Tim say GYATT made my day! OMG😂😂😂
Thank up for the heads up Tim, it would be sad if you left TH-cam. You’re my favorite TH-cam channel.
Tracker and Sons t-shirt that looks awesome. Can't wait to see the rest!
Jenn, we bought the Navage Nasal Irrigation System. We love it for all our sinus issues. Just be prepared to see some crazy stuff.
Oliver has grown so fast! Such a cutie!❤
Great video! Very interested in Tim's version of the Iliad lol 💖
Blue apron started the option to have prepackaged meals as well as the meals so that's nice if you do blue apron. Publix also has some bags of meal kits you can pick up too. Not sure it's less than eating out but they look good 🤤
The Smoky Gouda Chicken from factor is by far my favorite meal they have. Literally order 7 of those for the week when they are available.
Kids get viruses all the time 😭
For my youngest, they also turned into ear infections and getting ear tubes helped a lot! Years later, she still occasionally has viruses that settle in for the long haul and turn into bacterial infections; sounds like Oliver knows how that feels. I hope he feels better soon 🧡
OLAF…so cute!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yes please be in more videos Jen, you've been missed recently!
They can always check the white cell count in his blood to “see” if it’s bacterial, but taking an infant or toddlers blood is a pretty big deal and they won’t want and you won’t want that done. Generally you look at the color of the snot. If it looks like grey poupon mustard then it might be bacterial. lol
You guys might want to look at getting your AC ducts cleaned out. This can greatly improve your air quality. We recently had ours replaced because we had gaps and our house was built in the 70’s and they had mold in them. So glad we did that. But since your house isn’t old, a good cleaning can really help.
We love the videos I look forward to them everyday!
