I just got a 9mm DS carry model. The company pronounces it (T-Sash). I love it. It's at the gunsmith now getting a few little things done. Mine has about 500 rds now. It still shoots a little low for me but I'll be getting that fixed soon. All forged parts for this price is just amazing! I'm tired of these polymer wonders I've been shooting since the early '90s. Time to go back to the steel guns I grew up on!
I recently purchased the Tisas Yukon carry in 10mm. This is my 4th 10mm I own. I have two different Springfield models and a sig x. I’ve put 625 rounds through it with the only malfunction caused by the Wilson combat 9rd mags. The mags have a small bump in the follower that the last round case catches on. A dremel tool quickly fixed it. Other than that it’s the most comfortable shooting 10mm I own. With the para ramped barrel it digests every variety of ammo I’ve put through it. I put 350 rounds through it on my first range day with it. My hand was just fine. It’s very accurate to boot. So far it’s held up well. Finish like someone else stated is pretty tough.
Interesting, I had some other Government Model people tell me they had trouble with Wilson Combat as well and the consensus seemed to be either chip mccormick, or MecGar
@@jeremyclementmusic I’ve read that the follower is the same one used in the 45acp mags and that the little bump in the follower is there because of the case on the 45. But on the 10mm it causes the last round rim to catch and can’t be stripped from the mag. I bought 4 of these mags from Wilson and all 4 had the same issue. Ground them off with the dremel and zero issues. Don’t like the fact I paid that much for something with Wilson combat stamped on it and then have to fix it.
@@GSquaredTactical Enjoyed your review. Looked at that model gun before I bought the Yukon carry. Will be interesting to see you post some long term reviews on it.
I have two Tisas 1911s. A 9mm Stingray an aluminum framed Commander sized gun with the bobbed grip. And a 9mm Nightstalker. I do believe you guys have convinced me to go ahead and get a 10mm Nightstalker. I have at last count 18 1911s in my collection. And I would have to say that these two Tisas guns are the equal of any of them including the two Colts. I don’t have any high end 1911s the two Colts would be the highest rated in my collection, but I would sell either of them before these two “cheap” guns. And the malfunction you had with the 40 Short & Weak, I personally wouldn’t count that as a malfunction anymore than I would when my Astra 400 has a feeding issue with 380s. Love your videos keep them coming.
Really enjoyed the video and the fact you ran a mixed variety of rounds. Subscribed! I will more thank likely purchase this pistol in the near future. Love the 10mm round. Wilson Combat and Les Baer also recommend a break in period and say to run wet. Any gun that has tight tolerances have a break in period. A gun with loose tolerances, like your cheaper 1911s, dont have a break in period.
Would it stand to reason that after your Nighthawks, Dan Wessons, Custom Kimber’s, WC (all of which I have) would have loose tolerances once they are “broke in?” So the “cheaper ones” are already broken in. This Tisas has zero MIM parts which is unbelievable at this price range. I wouldn’t be dismissive of it as I have had several and they all have been awesome. @GSquaredTactical No, breaking in is tight fitting parts wearing in together so it operates like glass. Not a sloppy built pistol that starts out already sloppy. Chepstow forgings can actually be inferior to quality MIM made parts. You know jet engines have MIM parts, so does the car or truck you drive, like crankshaft and cam shafts.

On some guns yes. Like on this gun and our FN-510 there was no problems but on the S&W M&P 2.0 10mm it would occasionally stove pipe because the round is shorter
40 S&W can be fired in 1911s chambered in 10mm, but to do so means that the case is headspacing on the extractor rather than on the case mouth. Accuracy may suffer, and if it's done frequently it may result in extractor failure

You fellas sure do appear to be having fun. I am researching about their latest offering in a Double Stack. Impressive out of the box performance on this one. What's that sound? Springfield flapping their mouth..TRP, FBI, Front Strap, Serrated Top, blah blah Commander Blah blah Ask the question. How about those internals and did the custom shop build them? Meekly kinda under their breath mim... I see a marketing campaign. Meanwhile everyone has a problem with where Tisas are built. In some places,, they are AK guys too. smh. I may have to pick one of these up.
I know that the barrels in their guns are forged. However, we have also been told by the manufacturer that there are no MIM parts in their guns, and if that is indeed true, it makes the price tag on these guns all the more impressive. We have owned three different offerings from Tisas over the years, and I can’t recall having one single failure of any kind with any of them. Personally, I’m becoming a big fan. Am very interested in the new double stack and have been intently looking for one. Please be sure to subscribe if you have not already and thanks so much for watching.
You got the 10mm version? Is so mine will hold 9 if I really push it in there like really fight with it but if I do it won’t feed from the mag on first round and is hard to even seat the mag. I’d stay with 8. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

@heywoodjablome2018 well it will fit 9 but usually not easily. The 9mm version will get 9 or 10 rounds in the mag. I guess if the mag seats in the gun see if it will function. One extra round is a good thing lol
If either Tisas or Girsan makes budget guns in .30 Super Carry, it would really help popularize that round and even bring the prices down as demand goes up leading to more manufacturers making the cartridge.

I just watched a video two hours before this one they talked about this company, and like eight of their models are being recalled
Pretty sure I saw this one on the list
Yes we’ve already sent ours back and it has been fixed and on its way back. Thanks for watching and for the heads up. Please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

Bunch of Tisas recalls this weekend I see
Yeah unfortunately but they have good customer service! Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already
It doesn’t have threaded barrel. I mean the pistol chambered in 10mm.
I’m not sure what you are referring to can you elaborate please l?
So I picked up this exact pistol from Cabela's. It says it had two 8 round mags but they actually hold 9 is that true for you as well?
You got the 10mm version? Is so mine will hold 9 if I really push it in there like really fight with it but if I do it won’t feed from the mag on first round and is hard to even seat the mag. I’d stay with 8. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
@@GSquaredTactical yes sir the 10mm, same one in the video. Your video initially helped me before I purchased it. I loaded it by accident initially pre loading watching TV before the range.
I’ve never owned a .30 SC. Thanks for your thoughts and for watching. We appreciate the support and hope you will subscribe if you haven’t already
Oh yea!!!🎉🎉
A beaut!!!!
I'll tell what I know about guns they are like a woman. You don't really know nothing about them till you squeeze them a few times .😅
lol I suppose that true
Tee-shash
Yep wondering when that would happen lol
Yep
Tisas is great, but we don't need another unobtainable calibers
If it ain't 9mm or 45 "it just aint"
10MM isn’t the worst ever, it’s formidable and good for big game. It’s a pretty fun round if I do say so myself. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
Funny how these amateurs have gun channels. As long as the name has “tactical” in it, rubes will watch it. You two needing to adjust your grip after each shot, all I need to know.
Funny how you don’t is all I’m saying 😂. Just a troll who lives life to put others down. If you don’t like what you see then move on to something you do like no need to say anything
Shouldn’t be disappointed, just fix your grip and learn to shoot better…..
Dude what the literally heck are you talking about? Did you even watch the video? I know the answer to that. You didn’t!! Because if you would have you would have saw about 150 rounds of a completely flawless gun that was accurate and the title was just a play on words. You must be a super troll. Like their leader or something. Dude going to take a jab by looking at a title and didn’t even watch the video. Move on troll.
“ gun experts “ 😂 y’all are a dime a dozen on TH-cam
Yep and Cheeto eating mom’s basement trolls who think they know something or a dime or dozen too. Just as long as we keeping it real.
Plus, where did I say I was an expert. I’m just curious if maybe I had an out of body experience and said something I don’t remember saying
