I am a Tisas Fanboy. This is a great bargain. I have 4 Tisas 1911s. Only issue I've ever had was on the Nightstalker(10mm) 1911. Bad extractor. Many 1911 gurus recommend the Wilson Combat made extractors... I upgraded my extractor, now the NS is running great. Get out and shoot.
I just picked up the night stalker version of the 1911 DS. Feels great in the hand, the trigger registered at 3.75lbs out of the box. Should lighten up. I just wish they had the RMR cut for the bigger window .
Awesome guns for sure! I did a review on the carry also. If my vision was better I’d probably stay “Gun Amish” also lol but man I’m near sighted and have astigmatism.
Get you a guide rod and an EGW barrel bushing and you will be good to compete. I installed the Nighthawk trigger assembly and got a 3 and 1/4 # pull on it. Great pistol, I got the magwell from Tisas too!

What I like is that you can get both the Duty and Carry for the same price as a prodigy. If you are new to the 2011 game, this is the way to go.
I would have to agree considering the prodigy isn’t worlds apart

I have the Carry model and it shoots great with no issues. I put a green fiber optic on my pistol. I'm staying gun Amish , no red dot.

Do u know the trigger weight or if it will take a standard sears spring?
Not sure on the spring. Let me check the trigger with the gauge and get back to you

We put a Holosun 507K on it with no issues
@@PhatTactical Gotcha. Thanks! I saw another TH-camr that the milling was too tight so no holosun (RMSc) would fit.
