I own four Tisas 1911’s. Three 45 acp’s and a 9mm. No milling marks , we’ll fitted, great overall. No rattles. I’ve had no FTE, no FTF, no problems. No Colt rattles.

I have the 10mm tisas and with that flared ejection the cases fly straight right and out of your way. This gun is worth it. I also got mine for 600 for a local FFL and I’m glad I purchased it. Love it.

Their firearms are excellent..you will not be disappointed and they totally stand by their merchandise...do not let the Turkish manufacturing sway you love for this great gun. The Turks take
great pride in all they produce...the Ukrainian government can vouch for that fact.

I have a tisas 1911 .45 commander size. I just love it! It seems to be made very well. The finish is durable and nice looking, the slide and receiver are forged. The sights are good as well ( Novak like ) I changed a few things only because of my own need to customize my 1911s. I'm not a huge fan of the ambi safety either. Not keeping the plastic grips but hell, those were easy and cheap to replace. The tisas will hold its own against some of my other higher end1911s...colt , sig, kimber, magnum research. Thanks again for the review! Also, thanks for putting another 1911 out there to tempt me with! I had to go buy that magnum research 1911g after being on the fence....then watching your review! Still got it. Still very impressed!

I think the issue with the Prodigy (Haven't watched your videos) is that their QC is terrible. Very inconsistent reviews on them some working flawlessly, and others can't get through a single mag without multiple failures. If you are paying north of $1000 for a gun, it should work. I think that's why a lot of "fan boys" have been dissing them. I personally wouldn't want to gamble my $1500 on a gun that MIGHT work or might not. Especially when a Staccato P can be had for 2100 or 600 more. Maybe and hopefully SA gets their act together and starts producing a quality product, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
With that said, I would NEVER give up my STI 2011's (all in 45acp). I also have had nothing but great examples of the Tisas 1911's. Fit and finish is that of a 1000-1500 1911. And even more impressively all the parts on this gun are forged, there is only 2 MIM parts. Unfortunately, a lot of companies *cough*kimber*cough* have been skimping on the QC resulting in guns that simply don't work. I have only seen 2 people have issues with the Tisas, which is remarkable given everyone loves to complain when a product doesn't work. Not only is it great for the price, it's a great gun PERIOD.

Another great review, I watched your Prodigy videos which also were excellent. I was particularly interested in this video, because of the 10MM caliber.
I have many years (30) of carrying and shooting experience with the Glock 20 in practice and PPC combat competition.
Recently I purchased a Sig Sauer P220 Legion 10MM but was considering a 10MM in the 1911 platform. My decision to go for the P220 instead, was mainly my unfamiliarity with the 1911, but wanted an all steel frame, steel slide and hammer fired 10MM. Also I wanted a DA/SA option. Having been accustomed to shooting Sig P220s and P 226s I went with that platform. This 1911 looks promising though, and I would definitely consider it after your range evaluation. I have two Colt 1911s and two Tisas 1911s, all in .45. The Tisas guns are made better, higher quality, shoot better, are more reliable, and function better with every kind of ammo. You can't get a better gun for your money than a Tisas, and the only reason they're so inexpensive is because of the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Turkish lira, which is very much in our favor. If Turkey were to be using the Euro as their currency, the Tisas guns would sell for twice what they list for now, maybe more....and still be worth the price.

The prices are starting to go up on them here lately. They’re getting their foot in the door and expect prices to rise. I’ve read many places they’re the best “ Sleeper Around “ right now.

The prince on these has drastically dropped from the usualy $710 in shop price (which they were back when I noticed them about 6 months ago) to now $560. Got a great deal on it, but such a drastic drop in price had me concerned a bit. Anyway, I just shot 100 rds today to start the "break in" process, and I used Aguila 10mm FMJ. The ammo box doesn't say how fast the ammo leaves a 5" barrel, but the recoil and muzzle flash were about "normal" for a 10mm (although some are hotter). Weapon ran great for the first 100 rds! Keep on dry firing it! Then when it brakes you'll say it's junk!

First of all, I should not even respond to this comment because there is nothing constructive about it as in you are not trying to help me help myself you are just being a keyboard princess. Number two it is astounding to me that you actually think dry firing a hammer, fired or even a striker fired pistol is actually going to damage it. I do not know what century you are from, but there are literally thousands of training tutorials teaching people to dry fire before they take their gun to the range. Troll on my friend.
