    Hi there! It would be nice if the guy with the husqvarna shares his experience on the motorcycle with us. Great video by the way.

      @@Slowshift Thanks for your reply. I'd like to know about Fuel efficiency, comfort, and what downsides has he had with his bike since day 1. I'm asking everywhere because I'm truly interested in owning this model for a couple years before moving up to a higher CC vehicle.

    I was about to ask if that was a Kriega pack on the back, then saw the description... Nice! I have a dark stealth Streetfighter 848 and Kriega bags and plan on doing nearly the same thing in the US.
    Any issues along the way? Actually curious what tools/parts you brought along... so far I've got tire plugs, mini air compressor, set of metric hex keys, t-bar socket wrench with 8 and 10mm sockets, chain lube, tape, zip ties, small spool of spare wire, and extra fuses. Thinking I'll actually add a spare chain to that kit just in case. It's also having an occasional misfire at mid-range RPM that's hard to recreate and I'm leaning towards thinking it's an ignition issue, so I'm debating even spare spark plugs and ignition coils (or just replace the ignition coils before I set off since it has >27000 miles on it).
    Anyway, beautiful bike and great videos!

      Thank you!
      Seems like you are gonna be well prepared😂. Tools and spare parts I brought was a tire repair kit, a small Bacho tool kit, and tools to tighten the chain + chain lube. I think I would change the spark plugs before your trip to be safe, cause the problem might be the igniton coil and not the spark plugs, Idk. My bike at the time of the trip had 21000 miles on it and ran smoothly the whole time.

    This really makes me want to knock out some touring on my SF848! What phone holder are you using?

    • @Slowshift
      @Slowshift  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You definitely should! The phone holder I have is from Ram Mounts. I use their M8 ball mount on the steering, one link, and the X-Grip.

    How was the Svartpilen? I got one aswell but I have to stop every hour for fuel when driving on the highway lol.

    • @Slowshift
      @Slowshift  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fuel wise? Better than the Streetfighter😂. Think we averaged at around 200-250 km between each fuel stop.

      @@Slowshift Hahah alright thanks, i'm planning to roadtrip through Norway aswell this summer. Do you have any essential tips?

    • @Slowshift
      @Slowshift  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BaltussaurYT Have more luggage on your bike, than on your back. Makes it 1000 times more comfortable. Also bring a tire repair kit and some tools just incase.

    Amazing video. I'm about to hit my first ever roadtrip on my 401 next week. 1500kms. Did you guys do some maintenance on the bikes? Chain lubing for example?

    • @Slowshift
      @Slowshift  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nice! Good luck and have a nice trip! Only maintenance we did was lubing the chain every 500 km or so.
