Got better and better, but on day 2 I think I did pretty well. Got a much better flow on the track and got more comfortable with the first turn. Really didnt like it at first because of the dip, but now it might be my favorite turn there😅. Its just so rewarding!
Hey there! I wanted to ask you a question, but before that, I like to say that was a very nice video i watched. 10/10 enjoyment!! I noticed that the Streetfighter 848 has a tendency to get into false neutrals when upshifting with the quickshifter (is your a ducati OEM quickshifter?), does it happen very often to you when you upshift at revs above 8000 RPM? Also, has the bike been dropped before by any previous owners (or yourself xD) on the side where the gear shifter is? I myself own a SF 848 with the ducati performance quickshifter, and despite all my efforts, via really committing and pulling that shifter through without any lazy footwork, I still get false neutrals from time to time. Just wanted to see if your false neutral predicament is any similar to mine.
Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes it is a Ducati OEM quickshifter. It's never been dropped on the shifter side no. From what I have heard it's not an unusual problem on the "old* Ducatis with quickshifters. It's a bit hilarious actually how often it hits false neutral...And same as you, its doest really matter if you really commit to hit the shifter hard or soft. It will hit false sometimes anyways. Love my bike tho😂
Engine is stock, nothing done to it. Only got a Termignoni slip on, k&n air and oil filter. The bike has gone just under 40.000km now and as I am aware of, no problems so far.
Great riding man! Can’t wait to get there myself. Thanks for the videos, it’s fantastic to see you pushing the bike the way it should be done. PS any idea on what steering damper you have on yours? Hopefully you haven’t had to rely on it much yet 😂
Its the OEM Ducati steering damper for the SF1098. Just installed it before the trackday cause I got a nasty tank slapper at 130 km/h on a previous trackday😅
@@Slowshift damn well glad you saved it. In the US it’s really difficult trying to find the 1098sf mounts for the damper. If you have any leads on where to get them from please let me know. Also is the damper very noticeable at slower speeds?
@@Ciubaka You dont notice the damper at all. Hopefully you do when you need it😅. I searched everywhere too for the brackets but didnt find any. After some research and asking forums I got a tip to ask my Ducati dealer for SF1098 spare parts from factory. If you want the whole list of parts and the process I can send you pictures of everything.
smooth down shift.. 👍👍
Motor sounds smooth, nice.
Thanks for Sharing! What is your setup for the steering damper? My 848 has no provision for it.
Thanks for watching! It's the same steering damper from the 848 so no adjustments on this one.
Such a great video! Thanks for sharing! Love the sweet song of the 848!
Glad you liked it!😁
Nice video, thanks for the upload! How much of a "track ready" bike is the SF 848? I have my sights on one, such an amazing bike!
It's pretty damn good! Only thing that is a must I think is a quickshifter. Then it's pretty much trackready (And get some good tires).
Nice driving and beautiful bike!
Thanks!
Wow 🔥
Love hearing that engine roar! Looks like you got a good flow at the second half there! 😍 how’d it feel?

the engine is still strong, keeps pushing!! Is that stock. Have you got big problem with that bike?
