If Caleb lives up to the “Generational Hype” and is anything like Patrick Mahomes, he could be our Michael Jordan of QBs. Just remember, the Trail Blazers passed on Jordan because they already had Drexler and it was a historically stupid move. So here’s hoping that we let go of the Drexler QB and drafted the Jordan QB.

Many Packers fans are trying to use that stat to prove he will be a bust....which is just the Packers fans are coping hard core. The dude clearly can play against top opponents. I am not that worried about his height because Tua and Drew have been very succesful in the league.

The hype seems to be getting a little out of control again. The opposite true too. "He held the ball too long!" OMG 😱 we knew that was his issue already. So... Let's keep it cool during practice with no pads. Long way to go.

I'm a little concerned. Not even because of anything with Caleb so far because I think it's really too early to know one way or the other if he's going to live up to the hype. I'm concerned because the people who watch the practices, the "insiders" have been putting out hit pieces on Fields at an alarming rate.... like minimum 2 per day on SM. I can't think of any reason to do something like that for a player whose been off the roster for months unless they're trying to lower the bar for the guy they've been hyping for the last year.

Adam...... we tried to tell you all offseason before the draft. You blindly homered your own QB instead of looking at the facts of this situation. As a fan there is nothing wrong with being realistic. I saw you so much on twitter and with Swift shitting on Caleb very hard and spreading misinformation like this TOP25 stats, which at the time, that was common knowledge that the graphic was taken out of context. Im not going to say you cant root for Caleb, im glad you are. But hopefully, you use this as a lesson for other roster situations to come in the future

Maybe if 80% of this fanbase wasn't so ridiculously stupid towards Justin Fields it wouldn't have made many of us so defensive of him to look past Caleb.
If things would have been done in proper order and waited til Justin was traded, this whole "Civil War" and stupidity would have been avoided.

@@BeardownsportsAdam 80% of the fanbase didn’t crap on fields. Half the fanbase saw the REALITY. He is not a good passer, he’s bottom tier and an elite athlete. Hopefully he can become a good passer. YOU and those within your group of content creators were the ones blinded by your loyalty to a player instead of analyzing football and knowing how to watch game film. All of this info you “love” about Caleb was already out there before we even drafted him. Everything you say about him we already were able to see with just a little time invested to watch him carefully and pay attention to him. You guys chose not to. Now all of you guys are flopping like a bass. To me that’s not genuine. You’re doing it for your channel because you can’t keep getting clicks off a narrative that’s dead. Harison vs Odunze (even) probably even another swap or two for even more.1 really great is still not more than 3 potentially really greats, at least two #2 that could have been pretty good (high-value picks) we could go on for hours. I was off the Fields train before the season ended so I found the hand wringing by his supporters to be frustrating. My feeling was that Justin wasn't elevating the players around him on offense with his play and was still making simple mistakes which should have been worked out by the end of his second season in Getsy's system. But I also believed that Pace, Nagy, and Getsy gave him a raw deal because of the circumstances around his drafting and development, as well as Getsy's poor game planning for him. So really it was time to move on despite the kings ransom they could have gotten for the #1 pick. Had they traded that #1 pick and missed on drafting a third All-Pro QB in 7 years (Mahomes, Stroud, probably Williams), they'd be getting clowned sofa king hard.
