My headcanon is that both origins are technically true, it could be that it regained power via the telepathic snow, thus making it look like it was created there, but in reality was just feeding from Walter Simeon

I suffer from number blindness and yet I know that 1935 + 40 = 1975 + 4 = 1979 (see Abominable Snowman, Web of Fear and The Invasion), so as far as I know no Yeti in the Underground in '69. It almost seems like people who called Classic Who stories as episodes and not a series of episodes (which could be any number between 2 and 14) also try to make out nearly every Earth story set in the 20th century must be in the present day unless stated otherwise. 😕

Earlier in the year I started to drift away from Doctor Who like basically every Doctor Who TH-cam Channel at the moment. I uploaded a few videos about other TV shows and topics - to avoid a total rebrand and ruining the identity of the channel I called it Phase Two. Now I've got a load of ideas for new Doctor Who videos :)
At the beginning of “The Snowmen” we see the alien looking snowflakes fall to Earth. Maybe that was the Intelligence arriving in our universe and building its power through the episode.

Isn't the doctor known as the other who was a great old one and he committed hari kari by throwing himself into a hyperloom back when rosalin helped omega commit suicide? That hyperloom weaved the other's dna into a young doctor who ran from the confusing things (probably related to the other) that he saw in the time skizm and here we are today?
