Being an Aeronautical engineer and an Indian and staying in Bangalore near HAL I can say Tejas Mk-1 and Mk-2 coming soon will replace all the ageing aircraft in our fleet because I've seen how they're flying above my house with heavy noise all thanks to GE engine 😅😅
HAL Tejas is 20 years old aircraft with 0 crash till now most important fact which no one will tell you
Tejas project is 34 years old. Completely designed in India by Indian scientists. While it has taken a long time it must be remembered that Aircraft industry both Passenger and Military is monopolized by few countries. India is the largest importer of Military hardware. Interested countries try their best to block development.

This is Tejas MK1 that you are showing. Presently it is having GE404 engine. It will b available with indigenous K10 engine. The 2nd line MK2 bigger model. Then lastly 5th gen AMCA.

Nash Tejas is much better than JF-17 Thunder as it is under powered and its air frame is aluminium and can't even more advanced radars Tejas is so good that US navy wants them to train their pilots. Thanks.

Dear #Nash , The 1st HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) Fighter plane was made in 1986, than the 2-3 more came in the ranks likes of Surya Kiran & 1st Tejas was made in 2003 , than in 2005 upgraded, thereafter in 2015 official Tejas Mark 1 , Fighter jet came in , than in 2018 Tejas LCF light Combat Fighter incudes in Indian Coast Guard & Indian Navy, Than in 2019 Tejas LCA & Tejas Mark 2 is made in January 2020 .
Now Both will Officially Indicted Fully in Indian Air Force, overall in first 2 Terms Advanced 84 Tejas Fighters will be included in Airforce, Also USA in que for ordering
