    To be honest, this video hasn't covered even 25% of what Karnataka actually have. This is more of just ghat section roads and water falls. We have great forests, ancient infrastructure, literature, sculptures, monuments, adventures, vibrant landscapes, other water bodies etc.

    • @pavankumarhk7074
      @pavankumarhk7074 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm not sure how you have arrived at '40 waterfalls'. There is no generally accepted definition of waterfall. Some of the criteria that I found are: It should be at least 5-20 feet drop, horizontal distance between top to bottom should not be more than 25% of the drop. There should be water flow throughout the year, etc.. I am from Karnataka and I can count to 40 within 50kms radius from my house based on these criteria..

All Okay you gus are enjoying Nature in Karnataka, Now when will you guys start appreciating Kannada Cinema - I believe new trailers are being done, but there's an enormous amount of work that can be appreciated , Kannada films are rich in artistic and commercial aspects both. The 70's and 80's were a revolution of a kind. Do watch works of Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Late Puneeth Rajkumar to start with.

And you're right, as per surveys, the Indian state of Karnataka has more waterfalls than any other state. Karnataka has 544 waterfalls which are at least 10 metres in height. Maharashtra comes second with 364 waterfalls. Kerala has 319 of them and Tamilnadu takes the fourth place with 296 waterfalls.

    @Rick, @Korbin I had invited you guys to meet me in home coastal city Mangalore, Karnataka.The sad part , is India does not value its flora/fauna or know to take care or nurture its lush Green Nature. While there is some activism in recent years and some groups of individuals being conscious of this, modernization and builder greed are randomly chopping the trees and clearing foliage randomly with no planning and with nexus with politicians. Believe me at ground level things are getting bad.. in recent trips to mangalore, local items like coconuts, ice apple and certain items easily available in Mangalore in childhood are now being procured from across the border from Kerala !!!!

You can forget about navigating at night times if you are nedgotiating that hill for the first time, only highly experienced drivers will venture night time driving..

If india can fix the roads that lead to these, put proper rest stops and market the hell out these places - these is nothing like India. I mean it. I live in America and nothing here comes close to what india has. Huge improvements have been made over the years and I must appreciate that!

    @ourstupidreactions if you ever read this comment, I could feel the neutral feel you had on this video. But watch the video called "Wild Karnataka", it's 54 mins long. It is narrated by David Attenborough. It took 4 years to make and you will never believe such things exist in India. Atleast watch its trailer and if you're impressed, them watch the whole 54 min video. I had the pleasure to watch it in theaters when it was released.
