Tejas is just beginning of manufacturing Indigenous fighter planes. Competitive advantage of Tejas MK 1 is that it's crashless service in IAF for more than 10 years. It is equipped with advance warfare capabilities with comparative lower prices than other fighter jet manufacturers. Really proud of this fantastic achievement by HAL.
The current order is 123 for mk1/mk1a included with a follow on order for 100 more mk1a expected which will make a very good number The expected mk2 total order size is 200 aircraft with 120 aircraft order in batch 1 near confirmed
Tejas, Vikrants are merely not just planes or warships. They symbolize a modern India looking forward to making a mark worldwide with its prowess and resilience at its own core.
For India Tejas (home Grown fighter) is bigger and more important than F22( foreign Fighter) hats off to HAL Great things taka time India is with you HAL keep up the good work
It's a proud moment for all of us. Two things. We need to rapidly replace the Mig 21s and this fighter needs to see war. The lessons we could learn from the aircraft actually carrying out missions would be invaluable for future developments.
Presenting such a master piece, the makers of the video should have cared on the PPE of the workers shown, no hand gloves, safety glasses and what not. My be its the unsafe work culture we follow, but let's not show it to the world outside, wanna sell it too right. Proud of India's pride the TEJAS.. Jai Hind.
After the success of ISRO and the Indian space program, India started the Tejas Fighter Jet project in 1984. In just 30 years of development from scratch, Tejas has proven to be a great fighter and with the ongoing developments to fix the gaps and capabilities, India will have its own most advanced 6G jet.
This is major problem. Entire fleet can be useless if usa decides to stop supplying engine or engine components. We will have only airframe 😊. We should first buy adequate engine before manufacturing the entire aircraft. This is going to end likee hf24 marut. We should have hired someone from Russia or given subcontract to manufacture engine from Russia ( Russian engine)
The deep voice of the commentator suggests that the Gods smile on the TEJAS. Remember that the Indian Air Force is a Museum of WW2 to modern aircraft, and this "gamechanger", the "cheapest" fighter will simply add to the logistics and maintenance nightmare that is the Indian Air Force. Incidentally, why are we reluctant to send the TEJAS to the many Air War Games that we participate in overseas?
In my opinion, they could have made it look cooler but other than that it seems great. I wish india would keep making good and affordable military solutions like this and possibly even sell it to smaller countries that can't afford expensive American , european or Russian counterparts.

India's Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) has selected the F414 GE fighter jet engine, manufactured in the US, to power the Mk II version of the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) for the Indian Air Force.
Tejas makes sense if the IAF had 200+ aircraft deployed to Airbases latest by the 2010s. Now approaching 2025, Tejas doesn't have the technology, performance or combat readiness to deal with multi-dimensional threats it expects to face from regional rivals. Local production of Rafale makes more sense.

Cost estimates are incorrect. Correct estimates are a lot lower as a significant amount of money comes back compared to imports. For example, all salaried employees paying taxes or spending money buying other items in India. Each component supplier pays taxes or dividends to investors. Recirculating money reduces the actual cost much lower.

If you can't run,, do walk...
If you can't walk, crawl.
Don't stop...otherwise you will fail...
It's effort of our current goverment that we are now selling defence product...
Forget about 7th generation, 6th generation or 5th generation...
If you feel that you will buy the fighters in case of war ..
Just imagine what if USA, RUSSIA or FRANCE stop supplying the critical parts of fighter in crucial time?
So making our own infrastructure is must....🙏🙏🙏
@@navneet7075 thats indeed must but untill then i want the best fighters for my country
Made in india !! that is mark !!
As our air force chief said... I would prefer quantity over anything ..it means tejas in numbers
Proud of nation and teeth to the IAF.Hats off to HAL proud to have built the future generation A/C.....Flt Lt KS Dhami. Retd
Rubbish
Jai hind sir ❤
Just one indigenous fighter jet🔥, changes the Whole scene for any Nation's Airforce
And Bharat have Achieved that🔥
But now it's upto The IAF,HAL,and engineers to master new technologies making making tejas as base ...,
And Mass and quick production is needed for tejas mk1A ,so dat IAF 's need can be fulfilled
And Forgein buyers can show trust

Third time lucky: today I finally got a
back-to-back comparison between JF-17
& Tejas. This is not a comment on
operational capability. Both were decent
displays but I think the Tejas narrowly takes
the win, with a more cohesive, flowing
sequence. The smokewinders helped, too.

Be proud of our Tejas, be proud of IAF. Be proud to be INDIAN. Jai Hind❤
We should be proud of it, but also keep aiming higher and achieve newer highs
Thanks!
seems like we have got talented people in the field of fluid mechanics and aviation.
Quantity has a quality of its own. India should induct this aircraft in huge numbers
The current order is 123 for mk1/mk1a included with a follow on order for 100 more mk1a expected which will make a very good number
The expected mk2 total order size is 200 aircraft with 120 aircraft order in batch 1 near confirmed
Indians pride
Wonderful voice Deepak sir
Tejas, Vikrants are merely not just planes or warships.
They symbolize a modern India looking forward to making a mark worldwide with its prowess and resilience at its own core.
Superb job HAL 👍🙏😄🇮🇳
For India Tejas (home Grown fighter) is bigger and more important than F22( foreign Fighter)
hats off to HAL
Great things taka time India is with you HAL keep up the good work
an excellent film on our marvellous bird.
glad to be watching this on Jan 04, the day she made her first flight!

Really great presentation for India’s pride

We need more such videos 😍😍😍 what a beautiful presentation 💖 loved every bit of this.... Thankew Aviation Wall for such a wonderful video....
Way to go HAL. Loved the astonishing presentation of the mighty Tejas. Thanks team Aviation Wall!❤
It's a proud moment for all of us. Two things. We need to rapidly replace the Mig 21s and this fighter needs to see war. The lessons we could learn from the aircraft actually carrying out missions would be invaluable for future developments.
th-cam.com/video/JeJ7X-MDIUo/w-d-xo.html
As much as it's a proud moment as a Bhartiya, hope our government is already working for 6 gen jets!
Thanks Rahul ji for thinking about Gen 6 in 2010....what a visionary leader!
Govt is definitely ready th-cam.com/video/JeJ7X-MDIUo/w-d-xo.html
Presenting such a master piece, the makers of the video should have cared on the PPE of the workers shown, no hand gloves, safety glasses and what not. My be its the unsafe work culture we follow, but let's not show it to the world outside, wanna sell it too right. Proud of India's pride the TEJAS.. Jai Hind.
It's just a beginning
This is what HAL Marut should have been in the 1960s .. Good to see the government going all the way to back this wonderful aircraft
Tejas is powerful Fighter jets,Pride on Tejas fighter jets.
Philippines need these Indian home grown aircrafts asap!
Very happy. Will be more happy if it's engine and avionics too are manufactured in India
Avionics are indeed manufactured in india
I wish that Indian Airforce have to be greatest enjoyment by Tejas very soon🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
i sometimes imagine where India would have been today if this progress was made 20 years ago.
That is China you could use as reference, they made their similar progress with their J10 like 20 years ago.
Excellent, hope USA will not stop delivering it’s engines.
Tejas is proud of Bharat.jai hind
உலகின் குரு நம் பாரதம்..
I am watching for mk2 desperately!
Narrator has a great voice!
In my opinion, they could have made it look cooler but other than that it seems great. I wish india would keep making good and affordable military solutions like this and possibly even sell it to smaller countries that can't afford expensive American , european or Russian counterparts.
Love TEJAS From Pakistan 🇵🇰
🙏❤️👍
😱
Maeeen wtf, thanks tho lol
Tejas is the brand Tejas is the man of esmart people. The people of Tejas is very esmart.👍
i was looking in comment section and bunch of you know who!, our dear neighbors! started to say that tejas is not relevant in today's war scenario
and it does not posses the technology to meet the requirements of today's warfare...
my answer to all of those neighbors >
does not have technology?
I will explain initial version of tejas compared to latest and old blocks of JF17
1. initial tejas mark1 have AESA radar
->which JF17 introduced in its block3
2.initial tejas mark1 have fuel probe for air to air refueling
->which was introduced in JF-17 block 2
3.initial tejas mark1 have quadrupled flyby wire system..
->which JF-17 still using old triplex fly-by wire system
4. initial tejas mark1 have hydraulic system
->which JF17 is still using old numatic system .
5. initial tejas mk1 uses most powerful version of F404 IN20 engine making out engine thrust to weight ratio close to 9.0.
and jet fighter thrust to weight ratio to 1.07
-> where JF17 uses klimov RD93 engine making less thrust and low engine thrust to weight ratio to 7.5 to 8.
and jet fighter thrust to weight ratio of 0.97....
by the way, I was talking about mk1 and we will receive more advance MK1A in February 2024 of 83 orders which was ordered in 2021.
100 soon to be ordered by IAF in 2024 which will bring the total number to be procurement of tejas by IAF to 225 ... so don't worry about Tejas,
Tejas is ready to take on any threat and it continues to evolve...... not to forget the biggest threat to PAKISTAN will not be Rafale it will be Tejas mk2
so focus on your own jet.... there is no announcement of any sort of block 4 JF17 by pakistan where India will buy Rafale and will rollout tejas mk2 soon
Indian education system is the biggest reason why we are not making new technologies.
It's our pilots who made this aircraft's good flight record.
Home grown warrior ❤ HAL Tejas ❤ woow

One of the best film ever made of Tejas...
Thank u so much abhishek for ur mind-boggling work...❤

Meanwhile the Tejas wallpaper screen is awesome 👌
Super! ❤️❤️❤️🚩🚩🚩
Just a glider with engine

Important Indians hone their manufacturing processes especially the public sector units to cutting edge standards.
Pls reply sir can I use your video footage 5 to 6 second for my you tube shorts pls reply...?
Why there’s no Protective gloves ?
Bharat has come a long way under present leadership! We wasted 70years of growth; however, now we are back on track. Very heartening to see such world-class developments, that too in defence aviation by Bharat. Hats-off to Team HAL and all those behind such growth.
Kindly refer when Tejas started its journey, please avoid snatching the credit for a govt who focus only on selling public services sector in the name of public interest!!!

Why Indians cannot produce indigenous engine ?
We salute to our scientists and the government.. jaihind
Jai Hind.
