@@ENG3INEMVFD If the spawn command isn't working for whatever reason you could try spawning an alpha and using the admin rifle to instantly kill it instead. Beyond that I don't know how to help, sorry.
My biggest pet peeve with the wyverns and even the dragon in the beginning is that they never actually get the wingspan correct. The same with Skyrim dragons and so many more in video games in general. Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon did a phenomal job of creating dragons, their wings look big enough to carry their heavy bodies into the air. The one in this video, not so much. It’s really nitpicking, I know, but I just love dragons so frickin much. Edit: I have to say the model itself still looks amazing!
@@frikkinpenguin Yeah their wings are far too small, Skyrim's too. The vanilla Wyverns actually have believable wingspans imo, helped by the fact that the wing-leather connects more down the flanks.
Ark modding has come so far, I always knew it would be at this level but it’s still amazing to experience. Especially given the context of early modding.
Honestly speaking, this mod is perfect. Kami needs to just stick with this. Keep them fire. Not every dragon mod has to have elemental variance. She needs to just focus her efforts into making the dragons themselves feel more unique. Different breeds is incredible (Think Caraxes from HoTD and concept arts for Sheepstealer in the books) Saddles would be incredible! (keep it optional though) Being able to go above Tier 5 would be pure cinema. Imagine grinding to Tier 10 and riding Balerion the black dread..so satisfying. Anything taken above Tier 5 should be able to hold the breath attack (at a scaling stamina cost the longer you hold it) along with a damage increase. As a GoT fan, this mod is just perfection. Keep it this way, cause so far, its unique, and keeps dragons honest.
I love this. Makes me want a role-play server. Imagine a bunch of people going out to slay a mighty dragon to bring it's egg back for their kingdom. The model is beautiful, would love to see different variants, breeds, and attacks!

Sure, we've had some awesome custom dinos, but no dragons that really blew us away. I had my hopes pinned on Garuga-it's been almost 2 years since I heard the rumor that Garuga was working on a dragon inspired by Monster Hunter. And finally, here it is-a fully awesome dragon! Simply AMAZING. This is cinema at its finest

The way the taming and tiers work on these dragons is extremely similar to the way the dragons from "Ice and fie" (a very famous mod for minecraft) work

It is literally right out of Game of Thrones. The model for these dragons is nearly identical to Daenerys' dragons. Obviously some small details missing because it's a mod for a game not a ultra detailed model for a high budget TV show but it is an excellent model
I think there is a tech mod that you can place two Dino’s in and it’ll produce a hybrid offspring. So they have the technology to mix species and genes, so maybe they can use that for different dragon types? That would be so cool!
Hey just wanted to say you and the rest of the team that's working on Paleo Ark Dinos, y'all are truly heroes 😊 I appreciate you all taking time out of your lives to help keep my favorite game alive. I would have paid for what you guys did with the Rex and Giga. That y'all gave it to us without charge so everyone can enjoy it is truly a HUGE blessing. Everything works perfect besides feeling like I'm dealing with a Rex infestation 😁 yeah there are a lot of rex spawns. Also, are the wild Gigas supposed to be stronger than the tamed ones? Just asking because I came across a wild lvl 100 and it damn near almost killed my lvl 240 giga with a acendent saddle. Hey maybe I just suck and need more improvement. I didn't play with any settings on damage or anything. But that's really my only critique. I appreciate all the details on the giga from the majestic saddle, the Giga gulp cup, heavy breathing whenever it gets pissed, to its glowing body and eyes, it truly feels like a trophy tame. I never bothered taming the giga before because I play solo mainly but now I love it because of what y'all did with it. I'm really looking forward to the Anklyosaurus and it's new saddle. The concept is so cool. I also look forward to seeing what y'all will do with the Mosasaurus, it really needs an overhaul especially with its terrible turning that almost makes attacking useless. Anyway I've blabbed on enough. Thanks again for the labor of love you guys put into this game keep up the awesome work!
I hope they have an option of having a tier breakthrough . So for example , you know how it stops at tier 5 , maybe it can stay like that for the ones that spawn but for one that you raised on option of being able to make it to tier 10 or something would be cool , having your dragon turn out to be the biggest in the server you are able to put in the work for it . Also , just adding different species of dragons where some come naturally larger than others.
PS "Flyer Seatbelts" is an excellent mod, 10/10 do recommend. Simple little mod that requires a double-tap on the dismount key if you're on a flyer, to stop the constant accidental plummets.
Very good job on the dragons. It should be able grab with the front legs and have a tail wip. A variation could be a shoulder Ice Dragon. A saddle would be great too.

I remember seing some early previous and the proportions were a wee bit off for my liking but this finished model looks fantastic, lovely animations, and I love the fact the fire colour matches the scale colour. Very nice to see ASongOfIceAndFire Dragons in ARK. Wish the wings were a we bit bigger and head a bit smaller but fantastic work non the less. Also curious as to what the other breeds will be. Caraxes based perhaps?
That dragon is adorable! I love that face. They are so beautiful! The baby is even more adorable. Wonder if you could give them a normal dragon or wyvern saddle. Or maybe one of them armor items you can give a smaller dino that you can't ride?
i think a cool thing that can be added to a toggle to switch between gliding and flapping the wings...specially for a smoother looking take-off...thought this is just a thought, i love the mod as a whole as it is, even if ive only seen videos as i cant ply ark right now, only having a laptop and not a desk top at the present... :)
Id love it if they add ( apart from potential ice and lightning) different head shapes like a hourse shaped head, a more trex shape and wolf shape as such
I messed around with this mod on console, only complaint is the diving could use more work to function similar to how griffins work and can retain its speed when letting go of the movement. Currently it kinda immediately slows down. Also careful dismounting the alpha or t5 cuz fall damage might claim you
Needs a bit more polish but already looking fantastic. The wings gliding looks a bit stiff too me at least, a slight downward curve during gliding of the wing would look more natural think like a deployed Parachute.
Dragon on Ark Official as an end game tame would be cool. Could be part of a very difficult and long cave you have to complete to get 1 shot at trying to tame 1.
This mod is fantastic but I do wish the design looked more menacing and less happy-go-lucky, as well as much bigger toe claws. Hope to see some variations in designs in the models in the future too.
This mod is gorgeous and it really makes me want a new PC so I can use mods. I currently play on Geforce Now so mods get automatically removed each time I load up the game and need to be redownloaded, but this creature is GORGEOUS
The only confirmed trait of wyverns I've see was that they've all got venom. But they're fictional creatures and if in a world, their dragons only have two legs and walk on their two wings, that's a dragon. If they don't have any wings, they're still dragons, depends on the world it's set in. Basically, if the author/creator call a specific creature a dragon, then it's a dragon.

The GoT (Drogon) dragon/wyvern designs is my favorite of all dragon designs that i've ever seen

Yes, I have bred mine regularly, but if you want to breed two alphas, the egg won't show up

Looks like Kami is currently working on a new rig and new animations right now ^^ She's not happy with the current glide, either
These are by far the best looking (maybe not even just dragons) but some of the best looking creatures in the game by far!

@@KalDoesStuff I always though the distinction was the front legs. If they are part of the wings then it's a wyvern, if they have four legs and wings then a dragon.

Well, time to redownload ASA and give this a try, as a guy with a Dragon as a PFP, I can't resist this.
It would be cool if the modder partnered with a modded map to get their own unique area and it will also provide a lot of value to the map
