I've watched a lot of videos on this griddle. And never seen anyone plug it in to a ups. Never crossed my mind. Great idea. Not necessary on a new tank. Or even one that has been used a time or two. But if it's long in the tooth. Or if when you griddle, you griddle all day, it would be a big help.
Brother, the view!! That’s not luck, that’s hard work. This is the 3rd video review I’ve watched. People seem to be really impressed with the Flatrock. I was going to default to the Blackstone but unfortunately seems they are built cheap and flimsy. Also their 1 year warranty compared to Traegers 5. Seems we can tell who stands behind their product.
You don't even need to plug it in for the initial ignite. You can add a 9V battery to it for ignition and then all plugging it in gives you is the lights to know if your burner is ignited and the propane level measurement. That's it.

Glad it was helpful!

I appreciate that! 100% recommend the Traeger! Thanks for the watch and compliment on the view :)

Yep you’re right and I love the lights :)
I wanna know where you got that battery, brand etc. that you plug the traeger into?
It’s right here on Amazon and it’s great: geni.us/Frd4qzb
my only concern is since it’s not the traditional grill I’m used to, will it still have that same BBQ flavor or will it be more like Hibachi flavor??
More hibachi flavor and flat top flavor
Less Smokey!
completely overpriced, almost $1000, .... I will keep looking. very nice video
Fair enough!
Is there a way that you can use battery power for the ignition
Yes you can use a 9volt battery but only the ignition feature will work .. for the rest of the features please use the cord.
@@sebandmichreview where does the 9v battery go?
Check your manual it’s easier to see that way but it’s close to the power button
Disappointed that you used the lowest quality oil on the face of the earth to season such a quality product.
It’s perfectly seasoned and has been great for over a year thanks..
Price on these are way too high! Don’t see the value to spend 1k on this griddle. Costco Blackstone 36” is $369.
Cool! That’s a great price indeed. Happy you like it!
