Very helpful video! I recently bought a 25 yr old Hobie 16, and attempted to sail it the first time rigged the way the previous owner had it rigged. The sheeting system was NOT working properly, but I could not figure out what was wrong until I watched this video! Thanks!

Make sure you don't leave extra line at the end of your figure 8, while tacking, your main sheet can get hung up. I like your remedy for lines getting washed off the tramp.
