- We head to the Moreton bay expo where we discover some ridiculous costs for some new vans. There is no way we would pay this much for a van, its a vehicle at the end of the day. You can buy these and have all the bells and whistles of a new van or you can buy and oldie and make it your own like we did :)

It would be such a blessing to have a Tim, so precious and willing to help, and so handy/knowledgeable about designing, doing and fixing such a wide range! Of course it would be great to have a Sandy as well with all of her skills and precious attitude. All in all great folks, and not forgetting precious Pablo! You hit the nail on the head about prices- at the end of the day they are still just a vehicle. For such high prices they're not built even closely as well as Sandvan! Boggles the mind how flimsily they are built. It's starting to warm up some here so I know it'll be cooling off for you. Stay safe and GOD bless

Yes unfortunately money and greed plays a big part in those prices and the quality is just barely enough to seem worth it🤦♂️gone are the days of quality that lasts a lifetime 😔
We recently visited a place that sells all things motorhome. I could not believe how expensive some vehicles were. It made me very grateful to find my campervan at the price I did. Those overlanders are very awesome. 😊🚚

@@SandVan I still haven’t done the conversion but the prices seem insane 🤣. TBH the price of a lot of new vans is crazy. Saw some newly converted campervans on a 73 plate over here and they were just short of a £100k 🤪😬. Who’s out there spending this kind of money lol 😂. Safe travels guys…

Our neighbours always joke we spend at least two hours tinkering with the van for every hour we spend away in it! It's definitely at least half the enjoyment for us. warm wishes from Millionaire Paul :)

Im with yall thats way to much money to spend on a vehicle. We could use that hose bag. Our budget on a carvan is 20,000 US I think thats around 30,000 Australian. Our current one we paid 14000. Thanks for sharing have a good day.

It was interesting watching you both walking around the show. I've been interested in the 4WD version of the Explorers for a while. If money was not an issue, I would go with one of those or a Trakka Jabiru. It's fun to dream. 😄
