I’m so sorry Tim that you totalled your drone buddy. That’s the only problem with odd cables. I hit a washing line ones on a return to home showing off to my mate and cost me a cracked arm. Lovely video guys
Great episode guys! Poor Pablo, I hope your ear gets better buddy ❤ “make him jumpy” hahaha I laughed out loud! 😂
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏Pablo is doing well lol 🐕😂
Wow Tall Timbers looks nice, I’m heading that way soon. The rain yeah, gets a bit tiring after awhile but when the weather clears it feels wonderful. Dammm about the Drone. West coast is just lovely, all the way down. Keep travelling well and hope Pablo gets over his ear issue quickly. Cheers Judy
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏it is rather nice there , we’ve headed down the west coast and we were blown away by how beautiful it is 🤩🚐Pablo has recovered well 🐕
Beauty, Horsehead creek you said camping spot not Park Up, talking our lingo now 😂
lol thank you 🚐🤩🙏😂
🙂👍🙂
Thank you 🤩
Hello Sandy and Tim. Nice walk near the water. I was wondering about the orange tip rock. Thank you for sharing have a good day.
Thank you 🤩🙏🚐yes the orange lichen does seem to flourish here in Tasmania 🤩
Poor little Pablo ❤hope he recovers expediently. Last time I was in TAS I loved the Bay of Fires because you can stay 28 days for free and same down in the bottom at Cockle Creek. I love the fact that some of the farms have honesty boxes outside and last time I remember cutting a capsicum and the smell just went right through my van because its real, Salamanca markets Are awesome for food shopping too, as I avoid ColesWorth, especially their fruit and vegetables which are artificial sprayed with chemicals with no nutritional value. Anyway, have fun, enjoy and stay dry🌧🌨🌩☔
Thank you kelvin 🤩🚐🙏yes those places are on our list for a visit soon , will keep a look out for the honesty boxes now we’re heading eastward again😊
Oh my gosh! I am heartsick at the loss of the drone😢 I know good drones aren't cheap and its so important to your livelihood. Have the vet give you drops for Pablo's ears, dry his ears when he bathes, swims, etc., then put the drops in. It keeps bacteria, yeast and such at bay. One of my dogs had the same problem, it's akin to an earache for us. But the areas were beautiful as always. Better days ahead ❤ Safe travels and GOD bless
Thank you Alice 🤩🚐🙏the drone served us well and had over 220kms flight distance on her and she was over 4 years old , we were going to replace her soon as it had a few problems that were steadily getting worse , fortunately we had already purchased her successor 😊Pablo has recovered well and we’re keeping him away from very windy beaches especially the sandy ones 🐕😊
Maybe you can get a glass cover for the drone camera?
Thank you 🤩🙏❤️upon further investigation the drone suffered massive internal injuries damaging it and snapping the gimbal control arm off 😳she’s going into retirement
That needed to be three days at least LOL Might mis a few as we are on the road over the holidays. Hmm Suspicious drone crash LOL
Thank you David 🤩🙏🚐your support is always appreciated 😊 We lost the actual incident footage as it’s stuck in a file that won’t open , probably didn’t fully render as the damage was worse on closer inspection 🤦♂️
To me, Tall Timbers is more like a hotel with motel accommodation..
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏yes it does seem that way
Don't give bread for dogs. I learned a hard way that gives dogs yeast infections... I hope Publo feels quickly better🎉🎉🤗💕🇿🇦
Thank you Christel 🤩🙏🚐that’s good advice 🐕❤️
🎉🎉🤗🤗💕💕🇿🇦🇿🇦
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏
That's why I don't have a drone.
Thanks TR 🤩🚐🙏she had a fair run over the last four years she clocked up over 220km in flight distance , time for a well earned retirement 😊
have just subscribed to your adventure, I took my camper trailer to Tasmania i 2013 for 6 weeks returned to the big island approx 2 years later, loved it so much I keep on putting my return off and it was only family issues that made me return. I intended to stop at the green point campground but when i got there I found that it was far too windy and cramped back then it was just an open area so continued on and ended up at the Arthur river nat park where I stayed for a couple of nights and took a cruise on the Arthur river cruise., which you should do if it is still operating, it was very informative and interesting. I will be going back to some of your previous and look forward to more of Tasmania. thank you for taking me back.
Thank you Roy 🤩😊🚐🙏we really appreciate the support and glad you like our videos 🤩wow that’s an interesting story and I can totally understand why you stayed here it’s such a beautiful place 🤩🚐
another great video, shame about the drone, good excuse for a new updated one though hey Tim? Hope Pablo gets his infection sorted soon. Some lovely countryside there in Tassie, cheers
Thank you June 🤩🚐🙏it’s definitely time for an upgrade 😊Pablo has recovered well 🐕Tasmania is beautiful 🤩
Stunning episode - nice camp at start reasonably priced but a great view over the canyon I think a good decision re knees - Jane and I sometimes do the mind is able but the body is not decision
Thank you stew 🤩🚐🙏yes sometimes you need a word with yourself before attempting things as you get older 😂
Hope Pablo is well soon. Drones always seem expensive one way or another. Good luck
Thank you Deej 😊🤩🤩🚐🙏Pablo is doing well and made a full recovery ❤️🐕yep it was a pricey mistake 🤦♂️
great ep guys - how long are you in Tassie for?
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏we’re here until end of February 😊
Kangaroo... "might make him jumpy" made me LoL 😅
Thank you 😊🚐🙏dad jokes for the win 😂😂
Very pretty parkup; the rain sounds wonderful. I love when it rains, the way it sounds on my van roof is very relaxing. 🫶💎
Thank you Crystal 😊🚐🙏it’s so relaxing, I love those cosy rainy days , hot coffee and getting the editing done 🤩
@@SandVan Yesss.. so perfect 🤗💎🫶
Good Day Tim and Sandy
Good day to you good sir 😊👋
Tasmania looks beautiful besides the rain
Thank you busby 🤩🚐the rain makes for its charm ❤️🤩🚐so we don’t mind it 😊

there are no Aldi supermarkets in Tasmania so i guess none of us count down here
Thank you 🤩🚐I believe Tasmania is the best state of all Aldi or not 😊
its the government restricting the number of big chains to give locals less competition.
Come on guys a chair lift, you're kidding 😂😂I walked up there in 2015, but I was only 55 then But I will walk up next time as well because $21.00 will go to the Salamanca Markets for food and I have short arms and deep pockets lol
lol thankyou kelvin🤩🚐🙏we do love a good chairlift , we’ve walked it before and avoided the chairlift so we though we’d give it a go this time 😊
Cicada is the insect 6.0 into the video
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏good to know 😊
Good to see you're getting out there and broadening your knowledge of Australia. Not knowing where you are going to get your next lot of water, long way between drinks out there
Thank you 🤩🚐🙏yes it’s a steep learning curve 😊
Get mavic great kit. Great episode Pablo the star as usual😂
Thank you Mike 🤩🙏I’ll definitely check them out 😊
Beautiful views! You wonder what the folks thought that were the first to see and live in that magical area. Thank you Tim for braving those stairs, it was well worth it. Safe travels and GOD bless
Thank you Alice 🤩🚐🙏a wonderful and lovely message truly appreciated 😊
Did I hear it was Tim's birthday? If so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎂 Have a great year full of many blessings and adventures! I loved the waterfalls, but hated the wind. Beautiful areas and towns. Those little curled ferns are called fiddle heads. The ones in America are edible. I'm really enjoying the Big Lap. Pablo happily playing with his ladle ❤ Safe travels and GOD bless
Thank you Alice 🤩😊🙏such a lovely comment 🤩so glad you’re enjoying our adventures 😊
It’s great when a weather front hits from nowhere ….worlds revenge on us all lol 😂😂😂😂 Made the chairlift down a bit more scary Memory forged
Thank you stew 🤩😊🙏🚐yes experiences like that do galvanise the memories 😊
I remember one time I was parked in Prahran Shopping Centre, and I asked the parking attendants where I can park without getting a ticket after 6:00pm and they told me I could park in the loading zone overnight if I wish. Any unmarked streets are cool also. I used to park outside my work for two years whilst decking out my van and only once was I asked what I was doing there and I just said I work here. I used multi storey units to park outside of and some streets have boats and caravans parked out front of them, so I just slipped in between them and when the Spirit of Tasmania was running from Port Melbourne Lots of motor homes and caravans would park down by the beach where it was unmarked, take off with them in the morning which reminded me of that Batman movie when the Joker drove out of the bank with the rest of the yellow buses, lol
Thank you kelvin 🤩🚐🙏those are some more great ideas we’ll definitely use 🚐😎
Great to see that you have a to do list as well to tick off, I have a procrastination list to put off till tomorrow, lol My house batteries just died recently after 11 years which is not a bad life, prolonged with my seven-stage battery charger for when I'm plugged in sometimes. I changed mine in the Cairns Central car park and I had leaks on my roof from when I had my solar panels changed and the old holes weren't plugged properly so if you want something done you gotta do it yourself. I ended up getting some aluminium strips filling the holes with sticky flex then pop riveting the aluminium strips on top of the holes with more sticky flex then pop riveted them until the sticky flex squeezed out of the sides, smooth over the whole lot. Then I discovered another leak around my hatch complements of cyclone Jasper. Home renovations is an ongoing task but it's great that we can do it on the road and change our minds. Once I'm on the age pension I can sit at free campsites for as long as I want to let my money go into the bank then spend it on more renovations. Enjoy your freedom, fellow traveller Kelvin PS We are both subscribed, so looking forward to some new adventures.🙂
Thank you kelvin 🤩🚐🙏yes it’s an ongoing thing keeping the van together on the road , it’s always fun to find new problems after being on the dirt roads and corrugations 🤦♂️🚐
Hi as a fellow Van camper ( and You Tuber in WA ) I found this very interesting , I have Subed and look Forward to watching more of your videos , Cheers Pete
Thank you Peter 🤩🚐🙏glad to have you onboard , we’ve reciprocated the following and look forward to learning more about WA as that’s a future destination after Tasmania 😊🚐
Groovy little car and economically sound. You've certainly given me something to think about, as I have lived in Karanda since 2020 and although it's only 34K's to town, driving back up the range in my Iveco daily 2.8 turbo diesel certainly uses more fuel driving back to base. So, it's a toss-up between a small car, push bike or a small expensive generator or an affordable larger generator and a cargo hitch carrier on the back. I used to have a Honda 3KV A in the back which is now $4000 or an Engle generator for $1750 but it doesn't fit in my storage compartment behind my barn doors, so maybe I'll put another fridge in there for a freezer. Anyway, have fun buzzing around in your new toy and hope to see you on the road on my next Big Lap on the age pension In February, from Kelvin fellow TH-camr from "Living Free in My RV"✌🚍
Thank you kelvin 🤩🚐🙏yes it’s a very handy little car to zip around in and super easy to find parks with 🤩I know what you mean about going up and down the range it’s a bit of a chore especially with all the road works and that bridge being rebuilt 😳
LOVE your sticker swap idea!!! How can we send you one? ❤🐶
If you send your address to our email thesandvan@outlook.com we’ll send some out to you 🤩🚐
I loved Leven gorge. Poor Pablo
