using their second generation wireless charging stand, apparently the 6 can get 21w of wireless charging and the 6 pro can get up to 27w. At least I'm pretty sure. It would be interesting to see some charging tests comparing 30w wired, to their fast wireless charging speeds to see if the stand is worth it for the people buying one of the pixel 6 phones
Can you do a 5G and LTE, speed test and reception comparison to another phone? If you have the ability. I've been told that the new 5G modem on the pixel 6 is more comparable to the Qualcomm x55 modem which is a 40% drop compared to the Qualcomm x60 modem in the Snapdragon 888. So I want to know how the reception is and the speed before I buy the phone. I live in Vermont and travel a lot in New Hampshire and Maine so coverage and being able to hold on to a cell towers signal is extremely important to me since I live in the mountains. In my experience Samsung cell phones hold reception much longer than an iPhone and a little bit longer than my current oneplus. So I'm just trying to get a feel for its antennas and it signal strength in comparison to other flagship phones. And I have T-Mobile so it would be awesome to see you do a test like that
A great review. Even though I've been an Android user since the off, it's great to see a section on the settings, which always change on a new release. Liked the extensive camera/video shots as well. They've certainly sold me on changing my 4xl to the 6 Pro when my contract is due (soon as well). Just wish they did the Sorta Seafoam on the pro as that to me is the best colour combo. Have never had a problem with battery life on my Pixels. The 4 got slated but I always get a full day from 5:30am to bedtime at 11:00 pm.

I thought Apple should be worried to, cuz google came out with a lot of great features, but they still fumbled on key features that they should've had down by now. Apple has been consistent for years, googles pixel 6 pro has to be non buggy, and no problems for consumers, for people to trust them again. Apple has a reputation, that if they mess up, people won't jump ship, they'll wait for the software update to fix whatever problem, and know that apple will be back on track, google does not have this luxury, so in that case Apple doesn't have to worry about anything

I got pixel 6 pro just this September and hearing/ watching reviews is NOT the same as holding it in your hand, it's a lot bigger than it appears on a video and a lot smoother.
I purchased a Google Pixel 6 Pro 128GB from Best Buy, just waiting for it to arrive! I'm used to the curved display since I went from Samsung to Motorola to Google. I'll be putting a case on right away before I even use the phone. I do wish it had a rear fingerprint scanner instead of on-screen fingerprint scanner. I went with the Pro for the higher resolution screen and extra camera.
So far I'm impressed with the pixel 6, the front facing camera could be better and nighttime video Isn't great but I think with some firmware updates it will improve.
My phone got hot the first few days but it definitely settled down and only gets warm every once in a while now. Overall I love the Pixel 6 Pro experience!

I wonder why Google went with the decision to keep the appdrawer completely white on Android 12, like the background could turn into the primary color just a slight and the colored icons aren't also in the appdrawer.
Really sad to hear they haven't improved the brightness. My 4a isn't any brighter and if I don't set it to max brightness before leaving the house then I have to blindly fumble for the brightness setting with the screen basically black.
There's no possible way you can have a full review in a week or a few days time... You really should take your time. Especially if your attempting to make an honest review to guide people on whether they should spend their money on the device. A full review should be after using the phone for a full month after all of the software is updated and complete
Everything in this review will not change if I took 6 months. The cameras will still be strong, the battery will still be strong, and the display quality will not change especially considering how good smartphones have gotten in today's mature market.
@@nickackermanchannel touche. Hopefully in a month there will be improvements. Just hate that they went with such big phones and a curved screen and in display fingerprint sensor. And every iteration of the pixel has had low nits in screen brightness. Including my P5. It's embarrassing to take it out my pocket on a sunny day. Wish they would've put a lot of thought into making that screen brighter.. And only going with one big phone instead of Larger and Largest lol. I'm trying to understand if this is a true honest review when you have not addressed the blue tint on the display when viewing off center. It is so clearly shown in your video when you move the phone.
I like what I see with the Pro thus far... If I had the money to shell out on a maxed out storage 6 Pro unit, I might consider it in the future... However, as an Android user, I'll wait for the Tensor SoC's back to back performance/competition with the iPhone's A15... Not that I'd switch to iOS, but more as a reference point on whether or not I'd continue with a newer Samsung...

Some would argue that Android has way more features than Apple, its just the software and hardware combination that's the difference

Are you sure it's aluminum? I read everywhere that the band is glossy stainless steel but the non Pro is matte aluminum.

Every year they have issues with brightness and other quality control issues. Expected more on the video side but it appears the they did no improve.
