I wanted to let you know that I just made your coin purse. The comments were closed so I could not comment there. Your tutorial was perfect and I made a coin purse for my 2 year old granddaughter.
Love your videos, What I find sells really well is dog leashes with the poop bag holder and tooth fairy pillows I just got on Pinterest to find cute ones and made up my own patterns
I really believe anything you make for dogs or cats do well. In my experience, many people love purchasing items for their dogs and cats because they are like one's child! I am always asked about bowties and vests for dogs but I stay away from pet items. Good market to tap into!

I make the bowl holders in sets of 4 and I make a fabric box to store them in. I give them as gifts.
It's definitely a popular item around the holidays. I don't like making them because they are time consuming but I do sew them in the fall season........

Just discovered you tonight and subscribed... I love all your ideas, and think all of your items are beautiful. I downloaded the dog bone pillow because it looks so cute and comfy. May I ask what you used for the seam allowance, and also how stiff do you stuff it? I'm assuming not too much or it would feel too hard I guess right? Anyway thank you for what you do as one sewer to another you have a wonderful day...
You're welcome! I use 1/4" seam allowance ..... you don't want to use a smaller one because when you stuff it, you could potentially pop your stitches. Sew with 2.5 stitch length and 0.00 for the stitch distance.... Hope it comes out well!

I do have a video on how to sew the water bottle holder. I don't remember my measurements because I make them in bulk during seasons but the video will tell you! Let me know how your bottle holder turns out.

Hello! After I turn mine right side out, I iron each side of the bowl before I topstitch. It makes it look good and helps it go under the foot easily (remember, you're sewing through 4 layers)! Iron, iron, iron. It helps!!!

I made my dog carrier cover and used cording around the "roof" . Look at a pillow and you will see cording around the pillow that's what I did for the.

What are the dimensions on your heating pad and how much rice do you put in it..
The heating packs can be any size you would like; as small as hand packs if making for someone that walks in a city out in the cold, or as large as a heating pad for a knee or back. It varies. The amount of rice you put in it will also vary. For a 5x7 heating pad, I have put 2 1/2 lbs of rice with essential oils mixed. See what works for you after you hold it in your hand and maneuver the bag.
Would you be willing to give us an idea how.much each item sells for?
I understand factoring costs and time, and that each region would have slightly different demands for items......but as a newbie there's items I have no clue how.much things could sell for.

The problem is, we all live in different parts of the world. I would research your area and see what items go for. What I would sell an item for in Florida will cost more in New York or California. I think it also depends on your rate you want to charge for your services but that will be determined by your need to recuperate funds spent.

Hi Nikki, I would love to make the things you make to sell for my craft shows, however, The voice was not loud on your video, so I was not able to really hear you without turning the volume up to 40%. Since you started making soap bars, you should start making scrub mittens to go with them.
I actually did! I use terry cloth fabric to make them - they're my soap savers. : ) Great minds think alike!
Do you video on heating pad and pillow
Have you gotten around to making one? I hope so! I love using mine. It matches my tote and toiletry bag as well. : )
What is the finished size of the neck bone pillow please
Finished size is approximately 16.5"x8".
Where do you sell your things? I want to sell my crafts.
The material to stuff the pillow is expensive. You have to put a lot stuff inside the pillow. One small package of stuffing is about $7 or $10 and to stuff this pillow needs several bags of stuffing, thus the pillow will get expensive. How you handle that. Am I buying the stuffing in wrong place.
I would buy the 10lb box at Joann's when it is on sale. It will stuff 10 pillows (1lb each) and cost $33.00 for the box. Your cost will be $3.00+. That's cheap for what you can resell the item for!

How do you figure what to charge for your products?
It really depends on your area, where you live or are selling. Selling in person is different from online but the rule of thumb is 3x your cost. I teach this in my retreats. Maybe one day I will put together a video on that.......
I wish I knew how much you charge for each item.

I use to sew a foldable bag however they were not good sellers for my area. I stopped making them. I guess that would be a good option for states that require people to bring their own bags or charge for bags.

Where are u in FL? I don't wanna use your ideas if your that close & interfere w your bus. I went 2 a concert this woman had a stand at w ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS & ORIGINAL items which were inspiring me. I guess she saw how interested I was(I wanted 2 buy too & started commenting on how ppl r always stealing her ideas she worked SO HARD 2 CREATE. THAT & me being a N.Y'er I always wanna be original but sometimes u just CANT do it! Smh
