Goodmorning, The little projects like pouches, wallets, cell phone cases, little pursues/clutches are kinda easy for me. It's the big projects like shirts, pants dresses & etc. Are hard & difficult for me. Now I know how to make a drawstring bag..!! I really, really love these...!! Thanks so much..🙂🙂
Finally someone has shown the finished product in the beginning of the video! All of my cords are neat as I control them in 3 ways. I use the velcro ties and wrap it around both sides of the coiled cords. Another way is to use the elastic ponytail holders. As they come in different colors, the cords can be sorted by color. My micro cables are black and my C cables are red. The last way is just to place them in zip lock bags.
Hi Alisa!! I just love each and every video of yours. Please can you make a tutorial on godet skirt and also the difference between godet and gored skirt. Thank you so much.
I made a leftover denim to make my husband a tool organizer for work. He is a aviation mechanic. The paintbrush case would be good for crochet hooks or knitting needles.
I am an artist and when I paint landscape I like to take my brushes with me. I never thought of making a pouch for them. thank you. I will make a pouch for my brushes and mixer.
Alisa, I just love you and your channel. You are a truly unique individual and have such wonderful ideas. Thank you for your generosity and inspiration.
I agree. I’m always fumbling for my sunglasses because I never put them in the same pocket, and they get scratched, too. The glasses holders are always too small, so I don’t use them.
I can think of a lot of uses for the organizer, also I want to make those net scrubbers when you take a shower. I have one that is coming all undone so I was thinking of trying to make a new one and also for gifts. A bit of net wouldn't cost almost anything. Just another idea. maybe make it like the scrunchies.
Just love your videos . Thank you they've given me so many ideas to make over my clothes. I see your scrunchie video and I must share with you to look up the burrito method for this it's a game changer❤
❤❤❤😂😂 Pleasant Good Morning dear Alysa. I've been viewing your videos for years now, and they're wonderful. I could've and should've been making more of these small stuff as they take less time to make than clothes, and are a really faat turn-over for quick cash! ❤❤❤ I am a very creative individual, but sometimes, we allow too many of life's woes get us down and keep us down. And I'm here to encourage somebody not to do that! Don't let life situations to hold you back, keep you stuck, and keep you broke, ok. Almighty God is a highly creative being!! Just look at the world around us!!! 😂 We are almost to the end of August, and the school vacation, here in Trinidad and Tobago, in the West Indies, that is. And I am now busy making a lot of these small projects to sell. The hustle is real ppl!! 😂 Many parents are shopping around for school supplies, and little gifts for their kids, for the reopening of the new school term in September, 2024. Thank you so much for the ideas that you bring forth. Some I already know how to do. And some are new additions. They're all awesome! ❤❤❤ We do serve an Awesome God with our creativity!!! ❤❤❤ Keep on creating ppl. Blessings to all. Love and respect. 100% ❤❤❤
I just started watching you and your channel. You are such a creative and inspiring young lady. Thank you so much!! I am trying some of your ideas for Gifts.
Cord organizer not a need, but super cute to organize cords.... like kitchen coffee pot. Nice video. Loved how you instructed each step with reason. Eazy peezy❣️ Thank you.
I put a guard on both ends of my brush roll. My very thin brushes kept falling trough even though I stitched narrower elastics. No problem since. I also made one for my watercolor pencils, one for my grandson’s colored pencils for car travel.
Thank you for sharing all these ideas. I'm fairly new to sewing. So I think I'd be able to do a couple of these projects. How much do you sell the roll up brushes pouch and the big scrunchies? My daughters are participating in a craft event next month, so they'll love to help make these projects to sell at their event.
LOOVVEE YOUR VIDEOS! I'm a new subscriber and a huge fanatic of sewing. I would definitely make a traveler thingy to hold my sewing supplies😍 to carry your machine around is just a little too heavy though😅
I usually join channels you suggest. I know you would choose only the ones that are professional, positive and respectful. Why runn around when your suggestions I KNOW will already be good!
Can you please tell me what Singer model number your machine is? Also, any issues with it? I'm trying to figure out what model I will be buying soon....and I'm kind of loyal to Singer. Thanks!
As always, these ideas are really easy and cute. I especially love that you are starting to give measurements in cm as well. I love your tutorials but sometimes it is a pain to recalculate it to European measurements, haha.
Christin, hello there! I hear you, I work in both cm and inches, but first when I moved to USA it was a pain. In the infobox, underneath this video, I left a little conversion of inches to cm's- just write it down on a sticky note and put it somewhere in your sewing space. Saves time and it always there when you need it :)
Such good ideas! I love the circle pouch, great for makeup, and maybe for the Halloween walk about 😉? Love the glasses pouch too, I like that you made a pattern to it. I want to do a kimono jacket ( scared to cut the fabric!! 🫣) but I’m in doubt that I can make a pattern for it. So I think I’ll try this small project pattern first to practice, so thank you 😊
Sleepy cat, hello there! I have a kimono style cardigan tutorial - VERY easy drafting steps for a pattern, take a look, I am sure you can do it! :) but yes, try some smaller projects as well - that will build your confidence.
Shawnie, thank you! I got it on Amazon, usually comes in a pack of 10 or 12, and I think comes out to about $1.50 per sheet, BUT, this one had a bit of chemical smell to it, so read the reviews before you buy it :) I did read the reviews and decided to chance it and... mine did have a smell, but it is almost all gone now. Also, I think you can buy it at Hobby Lobby too... oh, and you can of course use the cork fabric or vinyl as well :)
Hi. Do you have a tutorial for a cardigan like the one you re wearing ? I am trying to gather some clothes to wear on the job at the office ( simple dresses, nice slim legged pants ( but roomy in upper thighs n above to sit comfortably all day). thx :) BTW, I like the pull string pouch in this tutorial .
What are your other ideas for the circle pouch and the roll up case? Let me know what you would use it for :)
roll up case crochet hooks
circle pouch pencil case/ pouch for school as open flat making easier for the children to find items

Good Morning! And may be you said this! Press a curve into the bias for added ease in the sewing! Really nice tutorials!
Many years ago, my sister made me a roll up organizer for crochet hooks. I use it continually and have thanked her many times for this useful gift.
Wonderful and thanks for sharing!!
"Not into makeup." GIRL, your lipstick is FIRE!

The paintbrush case would be good for crochet hooks or knitting needles.
Ooooh yes! I love all of your suggestions!!!
Oh that's wonderful! So creative!
I keep my sewing machine needles in little bottles. I would use the roll up pouch to store the little bottles or I would use it for my scissors.
Love the scrunchie tutorial. I been making scrunchies for a while, your method is the eaist to understand and make!
I love your bags and paint holder. Your scrunches are beautiful.
I am an artist and when I paint landscape I like to take my brushes with me. I never thought of making a pouch for them. thank you. I will make a pouch for my brushes and mixer.

I love the little sun glasses pouch at the end! This video is full of great techniques and useful products, as are all your videos!
Thank you so much, Catherine!
I agree. I’m always fumbling for my sunglasses because I never put them in the same pocket, and they get scratched, too. The glasses holders are always too small, so I don’t use them.
Your tutorials are wonderful! I like that you are using scraps and old denim.
Great video again. I look forward to just where your idea journies take us all. Amazing!

I love this! Very well explained for me, a beginer. And you are so cute❤️
Use peģs if you have tremors or arthritis. Makes it so much easier than clips or pins. You can also use big/jumbo plastic coated paperclips.
Thank you so much for the roll up organizer for brushes. I have wanted one for soooo long! Thank you!
I just started watching you and your channel. You are such a creative and inspiring young lady. Thank you so much!! I am trying some of your ideas for Gifts.
For the organizer, you could use wide ribbon at the top for tucking in the brushes. A good way to use up leftover bits and pieces.
Exactly! Fantastic ideas!
Cord organizer not a need, but super cute to organize cords.... like kitchen coffee pot. Nice video. Loved how you instructed each step with reason. Eazy peezy❣️ Thank you.
