#1 Crusade #2 Raiders #3 Temple And as far as I'm concerned, that's the complete Indiana Jones collection. They should have kept to the final film title. LOL. Indiana Jones and HIS Last Crusade!
Thanks for the shout-out man! Great list! Glad to hear you liked the Studiocanal 4K of Fifth Element. I agree with a lot of your choices... all great demo-worthy titles on 4K. Flash Gordon, for example, looks so damn good! Love the costumes and colors in that. Good video man.
Thank you and of course have to give credit where credit is due. That version of Fifth Element is incredible, I love the color pops they did a similar color grade on Total Recall 4k and I prefer the Blu-ray on that one was afraid that would be the same.
My goodness what an amazing list. Braveheart and True Romance are in my top 10 all time favorites. Wall-E is my favorite Pixar. Leon would be in my top 20. Subbed!
Suspiria (1977) is a MUST on 4k. The whole appeal of this film is the incredible technicolour and relentless awesome soundtrack, and 4k brings it to life. Furthermore, Coraline looks stunning on 4k - so many utterly vibrant colours, and details down to the hairs on the models in 4k
Susperia is good I left it off the list because I see so many people mention it and I watch all of those other ones way more. Just got Susperia on a blind buy last year and have only watched it twice. I was looking forward to the Coraline 4k having all my kids watch that movie to death but when the 4k came out my youngest decided she was over Coraline
Couldn't agree more! That’s great since movies are subjective there’s always a chance no one will like your favorites but I’ve had a lot of positive feedback. Thank you for taking the time to comment, Karate kid has been a part of my collection for over 20 years but I think these 4ks are perfect.
Thank you so much for your love for Back to the Future: Part III. I know many people consider Part II to be the best one of the franchise, while they consider Part III to be an absolutely terrible movie. Some people even only watch the first two movies, and just skip the third one, because they hate it so much. I've never understood this hate for Part III, as I think it's a fantastic movie.
I don't get it either! There are plenty of movies that I like and can see why others don't usually rubber monster suit b movies. But ones that always get put on lists of worst movies ever, when maybe they aren't your favorite just baffle me.
I made a video on that recently. But in a nutshell they get damaged too easily and lately a lot of them have been boring and way more expensive. Here is that video if you are interested. th-cam.com/video/euUuiVvSGYQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J5N3f91BQs4VrtBp
I’ve been importing movies from Australia through Imprint and Umbrella they have stickers on the outside plastic that gets thrown away, the ones I’ve been getting from the UK are hit or miss some let you flip the art work over with no label on the other side, and the Indicator films all have it but much smaller. There have been some really cool big box sets that I haven’t pulled the trigger on bc those labels. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Those Umbrella guys do that a lot. I do NOT like reading about age censorship when I buy any film, plus it ruins the front cover. Keep that stuff in the fine print on the back, where nobody cares about it.
It’s such a good movie, love the 4k it’s the only version I watch now. My only take away is the picture is so good at the end of the movie after Connor is being raised up you can see the wires and you can’t see the wires on the vhs. It doesn’t ruin it for me
Great list! Most of those are some of my all time favorites. I love that you included Howard the Duck in the list. Also I want to thank you for all the time you put into making the video look great people don't realize how much work it takes to round up all those video clips and to make all the numbers and titles.
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video, I was working on it for three days a lot of late nights. 2 movies I bring up often are Howard the Duck and The Fifth Element and the former doesn’t get enough love. Thank you for the kind words
To be honest upgrades if you already own the Blu-ray your mileage will vary. Back when Blu-ray was new some movies had bad transfers and didn’t look great on larger TVs, but over time the technology got better and newer filmed movies started looking incredible. A good 4k transfer on those crappy Blu-ray’s will be 100% worth it but on a good Blu-ray will be very close to the 4k a slightly better improvement with picture quality, sometimes the 4k will have a better surround track but not always. There are plenty of TH-camrs and consumers that will have lists of the worst and best 4ks, but there are 101 reasons why that’s not accurate we don’t all have the same tv we all don’t have it calibrated the same we all don’t sit at the same distance and a new OLED will produce a far superior picture to an LCD that came out when the technology was new. So take those recommendations with a grain of salt many of the 4ks that people said stay away from I see zero problems. A lot of 4k movies include the Blu-ray so if you buy one or 2 the next time you buy a movie you have them when you are ready to give it a try. If you already have a 4k tv and a 4k player it’s an easy jump just don’t go all in on upgrading everything. Out of 2700 movies I only own about 400 4ks. I upgraded most of my favorites immediately but the rest I upgrade as sales come about
@@80sMadeConsumerahh okay I’ll probably start by picking up my favourites on 4K then and see what the difference is! And thanks I honestly didn’t know they also included the blu-ray aswell 🤠just discovered your channel and it’s a hidden gem for people that like films 👌🏻👌🏻

Love that you pulled Howard the Duck! It gets so much hate but when it came out I raced to the theaters to see it and always enjoyed the film growing up!
I was 4 when it came out or I would have loved to see it on the big screen. It’s that one we should’ve owned I rented so many times growing up. Thanks for chiming in!
@@80sMadeConsumer lol same! I rented it and goonies and few others so many times they could have been bought 20 times over , even back then lol...I think I was 7 or 8 when it came out...movies used to stay st the theater way longer back then too!
Maybe the title of the video should be "Some of my favorite movies for every collector". In the entire video you mostly focus on why you like the movie and that it just looks good. Most 4Ks do :) In a way I agree with you.. "must own" should be for each of us the movies that we love and could rewatch over andbover
I hear what you are saying, and I'm working on a video that is only reference quality discs audio and video. Did you have a one in mind that I should mention? I did just pick up The Revenant for that list. I knew not every movie would be everyones favorites but its a list that I wanted back when I started buying DVDs. There are few great movies in my collection that don't look as good and my thinking was this a good starting point.
Just got True Romance! One of the most entertaining films ever!! Haven’t seen Back to the Future III in years but I probably watched it 40 times as a kid
True Romance is in my top 5 Tarantino films he wrote. So good !! Man we watch the whole trilogy 2 or 3 times a year back to the future is one of the things the whole family agrees on just a good time.
Nice list and video. When people ask me what they should buy on 4K or any other media i always say: Buy the movies you like and know you're gonna see and not what other people think is cool. Use it as an inspiration but don't waste your money on a movie just because it suppose to be great if you know you never gonna watch it again.
Well said! I go by that mantra as well so many different opinions and tastes non of us have the exact same lists. I do tend to lean in to my favorites but am open to other recommendations some are hit or miss.
Interesting story, Luc Besson filmed Leon and Fifth Element back to back - same crew and many of the same actors. The Diva Pavla Laguna is the same actress that plays the call girl in the first scene. Also, the "fat" actor in the opening scene was a FDNY fire fighter who died when the Twin Towers collapsed.
It is and such a good film! Have you seen the new Nosferatu trailer? Not sure how I feel about it yet, looks good but you never know. Thanks for commenting and welcome to the community.
Awesome, thank you! What were some of the surprises? Some movies aren’t for everyone that’s why I made sure to have a plenty to choose from, not often but lately there have been a few movies that I didn’t like 20 years ago and absolutely love them now.
I think Jennifer Connelly was everyone's crush. Stunning lady to this day. I have 4 of your choices on 4k and 3 on regular blu and there are 3 that I've never seen at all but some cracking films there.
You might be right on that one. Well if you ever want to upgrade the 3, most films have a small uptick in quality if it’s worth it to you. I’m curious what were the ones you haven’t heard before?
Rock on! I do love Jaws even have the shower curtain just something about 2 I love it. The Fifth Element is so good it’s one of the few movies I try to collect everything for just picked up a DVD today. Fuzz is great always has some great recommendations.
@@80sMadeConsumer There's a gorgeous Zavvi Collector's Edition of The Fifth Element that I'd love to get. I'm just waiting for the price on eBay to go down. As I'm trying to get better on being patient instead of instantly buying movies from there.
@@Franksmediaandreviews that’s the key to collecting patience it’s lifestyle not a race. But yes that set is cool too, I quit collecting steelbooks but I may make an exception for Fifth element.
@@kascnef I’d say it’s a matter of preference I like them both a few of the Studio Canal titles are a bit more saturated with color the reds really pop. But the quality of the image about the same both have amazing picture. Some people prefer the brighter colors and if you have an older 4k display or a where the blacks might look grayish the studio canal will look better imo. But with an OLED I had to change my settings.
@@bigbearhugebear9018 In general that’s not normal here are a few reasons that may happen. A 4K movie might be letterboxed for a few reasons: Aspect Ratio: The film may have a different aspect ratio (e.g., 2.35:1 or 1.85:1) than your TV, leading to black bars on the top and bottom. Source Material: The original film might have been shot with widescreen formats, resulting in letterboxing to preserve the intended cinematic look. Display Settings: Check your TV's display settings; sometimes, settings can affect how content is displayed, though this is less common with letterboxing. If you're looking to eliminate the letterboxing, you can adjust your TV settings, but keep in mind that this may crop parts of the image.
@@80sMadeConsumer Thanks for the reply. I have Netflix and their new content is 4k Dolby Atmos on most of the movies again all are letter boxed only using 2/3 of my screen ... The Vikings was made years ago uses my full screen and its great to watch. Valhalla a TV series 4k dolby and great picture but has letter box using only 2/3 of my screen..this is a TV series
That's funny you only watched Last Crusade! I did the exact thing with Raiders of the Lost Ark! I watched it over and over on VHS and had no idea there were sequels! I remember my mind being blown when I finally saw the other 2.
This a great personal favorite film(very bold to pick Back Future 3 and Jaws 2), but maybe not the best 4K list as far as which movies maximize the 4k capabilities. Regardless , good video !
Thank you, no one ever says anything when I mention BTF 3 but I get a lot of flack when I say Jaws 2 I get it. I was Trying to do both some of my favorites that I think have great picture and great sound. Not all of them are considered reference quality but for me the preferred version. I am working on a reference quality list top tier best of the best. What is one title that you think I should Include on that list? I don't own The Revenant but hear its amazing definitely one I need to buy. Thank you for watching and commenting
The revenant looks amazing on 4K, there’s just something about snow that really looks great in UHD, big fan of The Thing too. If I had to pick one reference title , it would be Apocalypse Now.
Fantastic list thanks for sharing! There were some in here that I didn’t even realize we’re on. 4K yet! Now that I’ve recently upgraded my set up to QOLED, I’m definitely looking forward to being able to collect more again! I love Howard The Duck too! Such a fun movie I will never understand the hate for it! It would be like the same thing as hating the 60s Batman. it’s just the style of story that they were trying to tell the adaptation.
So glad you found something new to be on the look out for, I hear good things from the QOLED. Howard the Duck is just an all time classic, I don’t understand the people that say it’s the worst.
@@80sMadeConsumer It’s most definitely a whole new world. I’ve never been so visually happy! & then pairing it with a Dolby Atmos sound bar it’s just perfect! Yes, I 100% agree!

the 4K's I do own on your list are Alien Leon the professional (which I had to import because we didn't get a local 4K release here in Australia) The fifth element (another import) Indiana Jones the last crusade Back to the future III Labyrinth Braveheart
Great ones there, which Fifth Element Import the UK or the US version? I have both and keeping both but the UK version pops with color. I am forever importing from Australia recently becoming a fan of Imprint Films and Umbrella Entertainment, waiting on Masters of the Universe & Super Mario Bros from Umbrella.
Most 4k movies are completely region free so importing movies from other countries has never been easier. There is aver small hand full of 4k movies that are region locked. The Abyss 4k is region free.
@@jb7753 most of the sites I use are for US only, but when I import from other countries the easiest way is through Amazon in that country. @@80sMadeConsumer Cheers mate, I'l give Amazon a shot. I'm looking to get The Abyss, Leon, and Scicario... I'm going for the twin pack of Scicario. Baby Driver is one of the best films in 4k because the Atmos soundtrack is the best. The songs are great! Hocus pocus by Focus is timed so perfectly to the action, it makes your hairs tingle. But of course that is if you have Dolby Atmos... which is quite important actually for 4k movies as that is 50% of the 4k deal. It's the same actually with Batman mentioned in the video, it has Dolby Atmos.
I do have an an Atmos set up up and I went with the ceiling mounted instead of the up firing. I agree Baby Driver is amazing I have it on an upcoming video it’s just not as rewatched as the ones on this list. Unfortunately talking to people in different forums most are just using a sound bar. I’ve always lived by the “your system is only as good as the weakest link” mentality and for years I’d care a little bit more about sound than the picture. That is until I went 4k OLED now I’d say it’s 50/50.
That’s awesome where we live you have to check online and if they are playing an old movie you have to buy your tickets a month in advance no refunds, nothing has been worth it that wasn’t always sold out.
Good list : Sleepy Hollow one of the best transfers. 1)Dragonslayer 2) The Fugitive 3) Doctor Sleep 4) Overlord 5) Dredd just to name a few as the audio is top notch as well as the video 4K …. Thanks
The Fugitive is incredible I really should’ve had it on this list. Thanks for reminding me Dredd is a great movie just don’t have it yet and now I’ll be sure to get the 4k. I had Doctor sleep on Blu-ray recently traded it in tried to get into it twice and just couldn’t maybe if the 4k goes on sale I’ll give it another shot. Dragon Slayer is amazing only found out about it a few years ago on dvd loved it so the 4k was a day one pickup does not disappoint! Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to comment.
NO it can't we have done streaming in the past but where we live the internet is horrible and constant buffering. My youngest kid got into anime so we streamed a few things to try it before we buy it kind of thing. It was a night and day difference with the blu-ray
That’s a movie I would like to watch on the big screen. My local theater does play older movies but they are hit or miss and the only place to find out is their website have to buy the tickets in advance. So unless you’re checking regularly you could miss the ones you want to see.
Great great choices and have most of those. However also i would add as absolute essentials amongst many others: Saving Private Ryan The Matrix The Thing Jaws Blade Runner & BR 2049 Chinatown Apocalypse Now Dune Parts 1 & 2 Raiders of the Lost Ark
@@80sMadeConsumer that's awesome! I also jumped on the 4K because it came with a blu-ray of Heavy Metal 2000. A lot of people have a misconception that older, hand-drawn animated films don't benefit from the high-def treatment but, as I'm sure you know, they definitely do.
@@sinthetic4878 thats crazy because most older movies and shows have the most to gain from 4k if done right. Its the same argument I hear all the time why do we need (fill in the blank) on 4k? Not every movie is for everyone, but there is a movie for everyone and they all should be preserved.

I noticed that Gary Oldman features in a lot of your selections. I would include Alien in my selection along with Blade Runner, two of my all time faves.
That wasn’t on purpose, Gary Oldman is a phenomenal actor and probably in my top 5 villains. However the list was based solely on movies I watch over and over again the also look amazing in 4k. I agree with you Alien is all around a perfect 4k and Blade Runner is high up on the list visually amazing, but I don’t watch it as often as the others.
@@80sMadeConsumer It was purely an observation based on your selections, I did not think it was on purpose. I completely agree with you, Gary Oldman is a phenomenal actor, he really plays the "unhinged" character well. When watching Leon for example, I feel like other characters are walking on eggshells in his presence. I only found your channel today and will have a browse through some of your other videos. 👍
@@mandylorien314 For sure he not only steals the scene every time but elevates it! There doesn’t seem to be an almost Star struck feeling from other actors while he’s performing walking on eggshells is a great way to describe that. Thank you hope you enjoy, I upload new videos weekly.
Mortal Engines. No not a good movie but looks great in 4k. The Mask of Zorro (1998) looks amazing in 4k. Christine 4k really surprised me. Aliens (1986) to me looks stunning. Star Wars Phantom menace really surprised me. Oh and of course The Lord of the Rings trilogy. All 3 look great.

I have True Romance, Aliens, Léon, Fifth Element, Labyrinth, and Wall-E. Some of the favorites of mine are Withnail & I, Battle Royale, Bridge On The River Kwai, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Last Black Man In San Francisco, The Lighthouse, and The Fugitive in no particular order.
The 6 you mentioned are ones I can't live without. The Fugitive looks awesome in 4k, all the others i have on Blu-ray good, but I don't watch them often enough to upgrade just yet. Never saw Laast Black Man in San Francisco.
Jaws 2 was such a let down for me. I'm glad someone does enjoy it though! I would never tell someone something they like is bad just because I didn't like it personally. The fifth element looks interesting and I haven't seen it brought up. I have an OLED coming in this week and I'll check it out.
I agree that’s exactly how I look at it not every movie is for everyone but there is a movie for everyone. I believe that term so bad it’s good is silly because it can’t be bad if it’s entertaining just probably not a film with mass appeal. Can’t tell you how many times I’m told my opinion is wrong 😂 usually sequels don’t get a lot of love anyway which is why I made sure to have enough films on the list that most people can find something they might enjoy. I truly hope you enjoy The Fifth Element it’s not for everyone, Luc Besson said when he showed it in France they complained and said he made it for an American audience and when he showed it in America people got up and left the theater and he understood how French his film was, and glad that it found its audience on home video. Congrats on the OLED, my advice would be to take some time to calibrate the settings, use a movie that you are very familiar with. I had to TH-cam mine there was so many bells and whistles it didn’t look right out of the box and I had to do it again when I switched 4k players.
@@80sMadeConsumer The Greasy Strangler is a perfect candidate for the "So bad it's good" category and you are so right. If it is entertaining, it has done a good job as entertainment. I'll have to check out the Greasy Strangler. Haha it is strange but I enjoy it. I had to calibrate different modes normally I like most movies on vivid and that works for all my blurays and 90% of the modern 4ks shot digitally but i had to use the cinema mode and calibrate for older movies shot on film. Risky Business looks great in 4k but on Dolby Vision vivid a lot of the time going from one shot to the next in the same scene was jarring because of the waay the movie was Lit and recorded switched to Dolby Vision Dark fixed it instantly.
I love you list. I have the Batman 4k as well, but to be honest it isnt a must own. They altered the sound effects to new ones. Its really annoying they didnt put the old 5.1 mix on there, only the new one with atmos. Its such a shame.
Not sure if there was licensing fees and it was a cost cutting feature. How ever the film was recorded should always be on the disc imo. Honestly I didn’t mind on that disc. there are some that sound awful and I always switch to the original mostly stuff recorded in 2 channel. I hate tinkering with the color grade more

I was looking forward to the Coraline 4k having all my kids watch that movie to death but when the 4k came out my youngest decided she was over Coraline
Incredible list. The Karate Kid in 4k looks amazing, it’s one you could really tell it’s a 4k, of the best transfers I’ve seen.
Couldn't agree more! That’s great since movies are subjective there’s always a chance no one will like your favorites but I’ve had a lot of positive feedback. Thank you for taking the time to comment, Karate kid has been a part of my collection for over 20 years but I think these 4ks are perfect.
Gary Oldman is one of my favorite actors. He has so much range in his characters.
You really can’t go wrong with Gary Oldman the man is an incredible actor that truly loves his craft.
I definitely need more 4k movies

Thank you so much for your love for Back to the Future: Part III. I know many people consider Part II to be the best one of the franchise, while they consider Part III to be an absolutely terrible movie. Some people even only watch the first two movies, and just skip the third one, because they hate it so much. I've never understood this hate for Part III, as I think it's a fantastic movie.
I don't get it either! There are plenty of movies that I like and can see why others don't usually rubber monster suit b movies. But ones that always get put on lists of worst movies ever, when maybe they aren't your favorite just baffle me.
Great list! Why did you stop collecting steelbooks?
I made a video on that recently. But in a nutshell they get damaged too easily and lately a lot of them have been boring and way more expensive.
Here is that video if you are interested.

I too hate the age restrictions on the front , Australian ones are even worse for covering the cover art
You picked all my favorites, but really Jaws 2 over 1! The first is a master piece!
Haha yeah 🤷♂️
Highlander is my all time favourite movie , I have it on dvd but will be upgrading to the 4k now
That's on my list to get in 4k too
It’s such a good movie, love the 4k it’s the only version I watch now.
Some of my favs on this list as well. Nice choices
I tried to make sure there was something for everyone.
Some decent picks here mate 👌🏻👌🏻is the step up from Blu-Ray really worth it ? I don’t own a single 4K just blu-rays

Maybe the title of the video should be "Some of my favorite movies for every collector". In the entire video you mostly focus on why you like the movie and that it just looks good. Most 4Ks do :)
In a way I agree with you.. "must own" should be for each of us the movies that we love and could rewatch over andbover
I hear what you are saying, and I'm working on a video that is only reference quality discs audio and video. Did you have a one in mind that I should mention? I did just pick up The Revenant for that list.

Flash Gordon was the 2nd movie on VHS I ever saw as a kid.
Good video.

Are 4k’s rare or are they making more and more of them?
4ks are fairly new and as a whole less than Blu-ray and DVD, but more and more are released every year.
Cool info! I thought the art department started working on Fifth Element while Leon was filming but didn’t know it was back to back.
Dracula is an awesome transfer! New to your channel, great stuff dude! Cheers!
It is and such a good film! Have you seen the new Nosferatu trailer? Not sure how I feel about it yet, looks good but you never know. Thanks for commenting and welcome to the community.

Some movies aren’t for everyone that’s why I made sure to have a plenty to choose from, not often but lately there have been a few movies that I didn’t like 20 years ago and absolutely love them now.
Back to the future part 3 needs to be talked about more i love that movie
Truly an underrated film! If i watch the 1st I have to watch all of them, but i could want the 3rd anytime!
Wall-e, Babylon and Sleepy Hollow. Think I said I'd never seen them. I've heard of them though.

How come movies in 4k are letter boxed and don't use 1/3 of your dcreen? I like the 16x9 format fills the whole sreen....
@@bigbearhugebear9018 In general that’s not normal here are a few reasons that may happen.
A 4K movie might be letterboxed for a few reasons:
Aspect Ratio: The film may have a different aspect ratio (e.g., 2.35:1 or 1.85:1) than your TV, leading to black bars on the top and bottom.

French art is strange, and I am French LOL.
Thank you for the pat on the back, it was abnormal for me to spend that much on a TV but I could afford it and thought "why not me?" Samsung S90C 65" for the living room. I will be sure to calibrate with The Hobit or something like that until it feels good.
1.Joker
2. Bullet Train
3. Ready player one
4. Alita: Battle Angel
5. John Wick franchise
6. Dredd
Great List all good movies and some almost made them to my list but I don't watch them as often as some of the others.
I hate tinkering with the color grade more
yo that Paramount hoodie is dope! Love the text editing! great font & color! reminds me of Tarantino style credits. I love MOST of these movies... EXCEPT fucking Babylon hahaha I tried twice, will never again hahaha. I think ive seen Jaws 2, or parts of it but I don't remember it. The Poltergeist 4K blew mw away! its top tier!!
Bram Stokers Dracula is 1 of my all time favorites, but this 4k to me was meh, not bad but didn't pop to me like I was wanting. Maybe cause I don't have an OLED, I don't know.
How you gonna mention Last Crusade & not show off your drawer decided to your VHS compulsions 🤣
Thanks I’ve got the mgm one in my cart love hoodies but it’s so damn hot here hard to justify another hoodie 😂
I figured most people would miss Babylon but I think it’s great. Poltergeist is so good definitely a must own. The OLED probably helps, Dracula never had bright colors. Just a nice solid transfer.
Haha I should’ve who doesn’t need a drawer full!
1. Temple
2. Raiders
3. Crusade
Nazi enemies are generic and they use them 2 times, that's why the second is better, also Indiana Jones is a total badass in the Temple.
@@pietroscarpa2384 I can see that if I sew them in order maybe I’d have a different thought, but only having Crusade for the longest time when you say Indiana Jones my mind goes to that one.
20 Must own 4K UHD Blu-rays in alphabetical order:

18) The Shape of Water
19) The Shining
20) Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Good list I don’t have all of them on 4k. I hear good things about Ford v Ferrari, Coming to America is classic
I would like steel books to add Dc
They probably will!
Oddly enough the house from Poltergeist went on sale for the first time in 45 years…
Wow, not one I’d live in but pretty cool nonetheless.
Luc Benson?
Luc Besson is a French Director/ Writer he did The Fifth Element, La Feme Nikita, The Professional, Lucy, Taken, The Transporter just to name a few.
Why call it "a must own for every collector" when almost the entire list is personal? 😂
Why would a must own list include movies I don’t like? Everyone says Forrest Gump is a must own I don’t like it at all nor would I recommend anyone watch it. If you have any of these on DVD or Blu-ray totally worth the upgrade if they are films you love or are interested in it’s a good place to start collecting 4k titles.
@@80sMadeConsumer hahahah
Another hot take
I think the r patriot is better than braveheart
I like them both just that Braveheart gets watched more
Bram STOKER - not Stroker. LOL
Well you got me I’m sure I say it wrong more often than right
Blu-Rays aren't 4K. Even so-called "4K Ultra HD" discs aren't 4K, they're UHD. Blu-Rays have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, 4K is literally four thousand pixels at 4096 x 2160, and UHD (including "4K Ultra HD" discs) is 3820 x 2160.
Thank you.
Shout out to Circuit City 😢
Ikr not only did I work there when I was younger I did prefer it over Best Buy. Bought my very 1st surround sound and big screen plus the countless movies.
@@80sMadeConsumer I agree I loved it much more than best buy. I practically lived at circuit city. That was a sad day. Now look at best buy they barely sell anything lol
@@Beetleejuicee it hit me hard After I got out of bootcamp b lined it to CC and was met wiith going out of business signs.
@@80sMadeConsumer jesus what a heartbreak. Thats a bad way to find out
Seen no 7, not so impressed, have not got the ones before.
That's of not every movie is for everybody, what is one you suggest?
In the future, I probably am going to buy at least three Sony 4K Blu-ray players or another comparable brand and put them away if they get rid of them the disc and the players then I will not be watching movies anymore and once all my players have failed all my discs will probably go in a box And put away some more safe until they realize they made a mistake and at least bring the 4K discs back
It’s not a bad idea since I still watch vhs tapes I have a a small collection of VCRs but I wish I thought ahead and grabbed some nice ones when they were still new. Also a laserdisc player and a Betamax vcr would be great
Jack Nicholson is the better joker
Yeah! I said it….. deal with it
I agree
Still can't believe they gave Oscars to a couple other guys for playing Joker, but the best Joker of all was Nicholson, and he never got nada. What a rip-off.
I’d say I’m biased because I saw Batman in theaters in 1989 it was the coolest experience I had ever had up to that point. And to this day best Batman best Joker great film always wanted a 3rd Tim Burton Bat movie!
You bought the wrong Fifth Element. The version from Fnac in France is much better. It's made by the film company Gaumont. Dolby Vision. And i have all versions of the film.
Oh Man I guess I need that one too! How is the color grading ?
@@80sMadeConsumer perfect
@@Unboxnorway you just sent me down a rabbit hole now I need the Japanese version too the box is so damn cool.
Why stop collecting steelbooks
If you want the quick answer they kept getting damaged either shipped to the house that way or family members not being gentle. I did find recently some high end limited editions that come in box sets I might pull the trigger on because I'm actively trying to get every release of my top 5 films. If interested I made a whole video explaining whyI quit buying steelbooks th-cam.com/video/euUuiVvSGYQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ilOQfcJ87sgQwG-f
Your video is like looking in the mirror. The only title you mentioned I own in 4k except for Flash Gordon. It's just a bit too cheesy, IMO.
No worries not liking 1 out of 20 is pretty good. Thanks for taking the time to comment I really do appreciate it.
