I like your dress. I am taking the hinterland creative class and learning to do 12 hacks of the dress. I am enjoying it and going slow. You should consider it.
You can make your own pocket pattern, just lay your hand on some paper & draw around. If you don’t have enough fashion fabric, create it in two parts using fashion fabric for the upper part. Just unpick the side seam , you can pin the new pocket on the outside & trial position. Looks good.
Ooo I hadn't considered using another fashion fabric for only part of the pocket. After wearing the dress a bit more, I have unpicked the pocket seam to make it bigger. Thank goodness for big seam allowance. Thanks for commenting!
This PDF pattern cost me $47 australian dollars and then to print it at Office works. Just a basic dress pattern. How much did Hinterland pdf cost you there in the US?
I don't remember how much it was but I know I waited for it to be on sale. Then I got it printed for ~$10 as an A0 file so I didn't have to tap pieces together. I figured I'd be using it multiple times so it was worth the cost to me.

I've been thinking about it! It sounds like a perfect thing to do this winter.
I’ve purchased that course and after I move house I want to get onto that too!

You darts are to high. They need to point to your apex. That should help the bunching under your arm.
Ooo thank you for the suggestion! I'll lower them the next time I make this dress.
