Hi from the UK, love how you put everything together very informative you are very talented it’s wonderful to create something isn’t it? I’ve just started to try mosaic knitting and am shocked at how easy it is, I have been sewing for years which I love, and started knitting a couple of years ago again and trying Tunisian crochet , thank you for this I really enjoyed it👍⭐️X
Hi Nadine 😊 I loved your hinterland dress and all the knitting, as always. Here in Ireland, we are having a few warm and sunny days at the moment, but I am preparing for winter and swatching for a ranunculus sweater in De Rerum Natura Ulysse that I won in a giveaway a few years ago ❤ I am also knitting a pair of fun stripy socks and cutting fabric for a quilt (my first one)!
Our cat has enjoyed nibbling on the bamboo needle tips in the past so I have sanded them as you have. Your suggestion of using wax paper to make them smooth and slide easily again is great! Will have to try that now. Thanks from Montana US!
Oct 27. Hi Nadine I've made my first Hinterland dress and Im so surprised at how well it fits and how good it looks. Mainly thanks to you who gave me the incentive push to cut and sew. I made it all today and Im bushed. I used green linen from Tessuti here in Sydney. Sleeveless dress and I didnt line the bodice...its too hot in Summer for 2 layers. Ive videoed the sewing and hope to upload it tomorrow. Thank you for talking about your making

I'm using the Bendigo Woollen Mills Beechwood needles a lot. Have you tried them? I don't like their aluminium needles, nor any these days. I haven't found an aluminium needle I liked unless they were vintage (yet the vintage ones can have issues with the cord despite having good needles compared to modern makes). However, I find the Beechwood needles are great and also inexpensive compared to a lot of other needles. Other than these wooden needles I have a Chaigoo set, which I don't often use (unless it's a Chaigoo Twist sock set) as my go to are Addi for when I want a slippery metal needle. Seems like you are a knitter that puts pressure on the join. In which case I'd say avoid the metal cords as they give way faster from constant bending pressure.
