I want to upgrade this unit with a 2TB barracuda / Seagate drive and DVD +/-RW, 8X. Are u able to demonstrate install / upgrade of these components?
WHEN YOU INSTALL A LOW PROFILE GRAPHICS CARD IN this Dell 3020S, how many monitors can be attached to the graphics card? Does adding the graphics card DISABLE the on-board built-in HDMI & DisplayPort PORTS? OR can you put a monitor on the built-in HDMI, then two more monitors on the new graphics card? THANKS!
I have added a JSON pcie sata card to the express pcie port on my 3020S, attached 2 Teamgroup QX 4TB ssd. Power to sata card & both ssd's. Neither new ssd attached is showing up on computer anywhere. Is there something I need to do to activate the pcie express port or some setting you know of needed for the installed sata card to be recognized by computer? Running Windows 11. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Racking my brain for a few days now, how to get computer to recognize the new ssd cards. Thank you.

Why doesn’t it work? Weird.
Both Crucial Pro RAM CP2K32G4DFRA32A and CT2K32G4DFD832A 32GB do not work on Dell Inspiron 3020S. It doesn't recognize the RAM.
It's possible the model numbers are the same but you need the non-pro version. The model without the heat shield works. Trust me 👍

@LukeONeill-iw1cd if you got the 3020s it's imposible, the 4060 is 2 slots, and de pci express is at the bottom slot. I buy it ant it don't fit 🥲

I think you can better the vedio quality by having a small intro and a better title like ---- uprading a dell inspiron with a graphics card and i think you can blow up
