Hi, Thank you for sharing your visit to India. I live in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean and I am proud to say that I am of East Indian descent. On the islands, we have a mix of different races, ethnicities, and cultures. East Indians were brought to the Caribbean starting in the years 1838- 1917 to work on the sugar cane plantations. The reasons why our forefathers willingly and joyfully escaped their motherland were because of similar hardships highlighted in your video. Upon reflection, I could have been a person living in India under such inhumane conditions. Thankfully, it is very different for me, but, although India is beautiful, I hope change happens for India sooner rather than later. Thank you for highlighting the good, the bad, and the ugly about India.

Poverty is everywhere in every country . A bit more in India since it's population is also high . Poverty in India gets highlighted more due to different clothing of poor and rich or middle class people. Poor people wear very simple and even in traditional the prints and designs are faded . Whereas those who are not poor wear nice clothes . This difference is more visible.
But in foreign countries , each countries have similar dressing whether rich or poor

Indeed an exceptional place your very Artistic hotel, Joel! But when you look out of the window during day time it is a sort of chaos , and you need to return back quickly...At least, myself...And although I know and studied Indian poetry
and Religion, when I was young at University, together with English Literature, I am truly not attracted to the contrasts of this country...even if I go just invited, even to such a luxury hotel..I would really prefer a luxury Mediterranean hotel either in Italy, France, or Greece...

@@recipe30 OK, I see. You love to discover a civilization that is completely different of what you are used of! Even the Indian chaos and poverty...I have friends who narrated me of very poor children running after them in India everywhere, asking for money... In my case , I love to discover , too, new civilizations and cultures when I travel. But I cannot stand to watch poverty all around me , while I have a good time in civilized places close by...On 2019 , in October, I went to S. Africa, from N Europe where I live, to realize my dream of holding a baby lion in my arms, watching the Fauna of this beautiful country . Alone. But, truly, I felt so hepless a certain moment, when I was surrounded by young black children between 7- 8, asking for ....chocolate or some money. I was staying in a mainstream hotel in Johannesburg....And I was sad, for the next 2 days...And I still feel uncomfortable...

Just imagine if everyone of these people would grab a broom and a bucket of water and started cleaning their streets / environment..
What a clean city of which they could be proud of it would be...but nooooo
..much easier to just hang out , prop up walls and fences and stare into space ..most likely high...
