I stayed at the Taj in Delhi, the Rambaugh Palace in Jaipur and the Palace in the Lake in 1991.Each was a beautiful experience and very exotic compared to most international hotels. India is fascinating!

And the comment is also about a different Taj location, Delhi, while this video is about Mumbai Taj. One could not find a premier suite at any 5-star luxury hotel in India (let alone Taj) for US200 even in 2016. In fact, even today, the prices at Taj Palace, Delhi start at around USD 200, but luxury suites are around 1000 dollars. If you want to go even further, Presidential suite are around 4000 dollars and Tara suites are around 12000 dollars.

I stayed here last month too. Absolutely amazing. Although I do it find it a little surprising. I was booked for a suite too and was directly escorted to my room where the check in was done. The high tea and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. Also if ever planning to stay here, do take the complimentary heritage walk of the hotel. It has so much history attached to it that one shouldn't miss.

its amazing how much was accommodated in that small place !! I was wondering how did they even manage to get that huge refrigerator, wardrobe sofas into that space !! and it sure had everything you need !! a good kitchen , washroom, comfortable bed, sofas and it was still quite breathable !! enough ventilation. someone really did a good interior job with that place.

Sir Ratan Tata is Taj of India One short insident in Taj Varnasi,India. My family member are wheat intolerant and there was no option for them at breakfast for roti as soon as the butler in the hotel saw he came around and asked how can he help us, then he offered us a mouth watering sattu roti which was out of breakfast menu and specially made for my family(no extra charges applied). It was a symbol of how Taj group and Tata group satisfies their customers. Love Taj , Love Tata

They scientifically ferment the dough for certain duration of time. i was in Ramada, Powai. I did not like the staff nor the service there, but the south Indian breakfast buffet was HEAVENLY. The chefs were very serious about their business of cooking. You could see it in there eyes.

The Breakfast Eatery was a Real Gem of a Place with the Best Indian Hospitality. Welcoming, Humble, Polite, they gave u Food worth 100 for rs20 unlike some who routinely overcharge. Plus the Tea, man that completes it so well. The Taj for all its luxury fades in contrast to the Breakfast experience IMO

In other countries we get free/extra when it is for all not only for us. But in India it is different. bcoz our mindset is like favourism or unfavourism. We give favourism to some people. But in other countries there is no special case you will get such free if others are also getting.

The breakfast in the start of the video is the typical maharashtrian breakfast : sheera ( sweet semolina) poha( flattened rice), sabudana vada (fried sago), puri (fried flat bread) bhaaji ( potato dry curry). Its our comfort food for sure!

The maharashtrian uncle in the beginning is sooo sweet. He has this family business for years now and he's always radiating "good morning" vibes. I have eaten there a few times and the food us delicious, hearty and fresh just like my mom makes it. Mumbai is all about eating 10-20rs food while having a 2min random convo with a stranger and then running to catch your train❤

Max is such a simple guy. Always eating at locals while the world comments of bacteria. Homemade food is the best. Everybody in India do the shower, do puja and prayers. And then open their shops. I stayed at the Taj in Delhi, the Rambaugh Palace in Jaipur and the Palace in the Lake in 1991.Each was a beautiful experience and very exotic compared to most international hotels. India is fascinating!

Stayed there in 2016 visit. It was $200 per day then. The food and ambience is unmatched. So much spacious in heart of Delhi

And the comment is also about a different Taj location, Delhi, while this video is about Mumbai Taj. One could not find a premier suite at any 5-star luxury hotel in India (let alone Taj) for US200 even in 2016. In fact, even today, the prices at Taj Palace, Delhi start at around USD 200, but luxury suites are around 1000 dollars. If you want to go even further, Presidential suite are around 4000 dollars and Tara suites are around 12000 dollars.

That local Maharashtrian uncle was so sweet. What you had was a typical Mumbai and Maharashtrian breakfast especially in a Maharashtrian household. We make most of these dishes at home. Also that was so cheap. Great he gave you good quantity for 20 rupees.

The breakfast serving guy is giving good hospitality, making sure " Atidhi Devo Bhava!" . Such a humble guy.
I stayed here last month too. Absolutely amazing. Although I do it find it a little surprising. I was booked for a suite too and was directly escorted to my room where the check in was done. The high tea and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. Also if ever planning to stay here, do take the complimentary heritage walk of the hotel. It has so much history attached to it that one shouldn't miss.

its amazing how much was accommodated in that small place !! I was wondering how did they even manage to get that huge refrigerator, wardrobe sofas into that space !! and it sure had everything you need !! a good kitchen , washroom, comfortable bed, sofas and it was still quite breathable !! enough ventilation. someone really did a good interior job with that place.
I got more delighted when you started describing the street breakfast, which we mostly have in Mumbai. It was mouthwatering! The vada was indeed made up of Tapioca and you caught it right! You got an upgraded suite in Taj, congrats! We remember it most for the incident of 26/11 attack and of soldiers and civilians martyred. Thanks for sharing the inside view, it's indeed splendid!!

My family member are wheat intolerant and there was no option for them at breakfast for roti as soon as the butler in the hotel saw he came around and asked how can he help us, then he offered us a mouth watering sattu roti which was out of breakfast menu and specially made for my family(no extra charges applied). It was a symbol of how Taj group and Tata group satisfies their customers. Love Taj , Love Tata

48:17 Yes I had mentioned in another episode. also. Never miss a South Indian food in High End Hotels. These Chefs are highly trained. They scientifically ferment the dough for certain duration of time. i was in Ramada, Powai. I did not like the staff nor the service there, but the south Indian breakfast buffet was HEAVENLY. The chefs were very serious about their business of cooking. You could see it in there eyes.
I enjoyed watching this vlog because of its simplicity and detail. I have never been to India but it seems to be a captivating place to visit for its rich culture and exquisite cuisine. Thanks for taking us with you on this trip. Much appreciation from the Philippines. 🙂

The Breakfast Eatery was a Real Gem of a Place with the Best Indian Hospitality. Welcoming, Humble, Polite, they gave u Food worth 100 for rs20 unlike some who routinely overcharge. Plus the Tea, man that completes it so well. The Taj for all its luxury fades in contrast to the Breakfast experience IMO
