I personally make fried chicken the old Southern way, marinade overnight in buttermilk, salt, pepper & smoked paprika - next day, set bowl on counter for 30 minutes then deep fry in peanut oil, comes out crispy & perfect every time. ❤️ Hugs from Texas .... All those chickens recipes look great. 😋😋😋. But if you do the smell test on the KFC, there’s a big difference. And yes, there is a difference in the “look” of the chicken. You can tell your is a lot more crispier and more than likely, more moister. 👍👍👍

I am allergic to paprika. I usually replace it with tumeric but in the recipes here some already contain tumeric. Can you advice me where to replace it with in that case. I love your recipes.
