The way such respect and humbleness is shown - makes me want to cry... Anyone else feel like that? There is so little of it shown elsewhere... nowadays
Heartiest Congratulations on 1M subscribers! I've been waiting to see this for long. The is an incredible video showcasing one of my favourite holiday destination Goa. I've been to Goa thrice and each experience has been memorable and unique. This out of the world footage and editing is mesmerizing! Thank you so much chef.

hello Joel, I like a very nice documentary film very much. The drone shots are great too. The hotel and the surrounding area looks fantastic. the people are also very friendly and nice. I would like more. Stay healthy
Chef, oh how you are enjoying life! Your wife is lucky to go with you around the world... When you come back from vacation, please teach us Indian and Vietnamese cuisine. Thank you.
Chef, this video was food for the eyes! I felt like I was a part of the experience! Wow! So beautiful and amazing. Looking forward to the next video 😃👍🏼
Ahh! Loved seeing my state featured in your video. Our family home is a couple of miles from the St Regis. South Goa is awesome! Did you have a chance to try out the local cuisine. A Vindaloo perhaps... or Cafreal.. or a delectable Caldinho. I hope you did !
These resorts are the main reason everyone loves Goa. I mean the beaches are amazing too! Unlike most parts of India, Goa is on another level and it is quite unique and beautiful! Thank you for your visit, Mr.Chef
Lovely vlog! Very inspirational! I would love to go to Goa! Love that the resort is nestled among nature . A sense of serenity while savoring great cuisines! Yum!
A…..THIS one YES, YES, YES, Joel!!!!!THIS one of your Indian holidays is REALLY something!! I approve of everything and I share your joy, excitement, pleasures, views, and culinary local discoveries !! Wonderful!!!!❤❤❤
Joel, Thank you for another wonderful video I love Indian food and looking forward for you to share some of those recipes. You are an ambassador for all the countries you visit I hope they realize that and show you great appreciation. 🙏🏻 😘🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thank you, Marjorie. One of the many reasons why I enjoy traveling is because it allows me to not only learn about new cultures and meet incredible people, but also to recognize how limited my knowledge is when it comes to world food. Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm glad you liked your stay in Goa! My family deity is housed in a temple in Goa, and whenever we go there for a pilgrimage, we always follow it up with some days of relaxing in a resort, and eating the local Goan dishes, especially pork (my favourite meat). Hope you enjoy your India trip.

As one of your indian subscriber im glad to see you enjoyed the stay. Goa is truly a beautiful place. Im from bengal but one of my frnds loved goa so much that she has visited it Thrice already.
Exquisite scenery! The food look absolutely beautiful yes sadly I’m unfamiliar with most of the seasoning. I’m certain it was delicious. What a great trip. I look forward to the next video. Stay well💋
@@recipe30 there’s a kitchen remodel. Much love 💋 BTW my only child Miles Dimitri Baker performed in Melbourne approximately two weeks ago. I didnt know such a luxurious and great stay is in South Goa , I am going to visit them on my next trip. On my last trip , I thought that I will cover North and South Goa however North Goa kept me busy for the 5 days I had.
What a place.. This is really the city of dreams, as if you left the world full of noise and went to heaven, The river meeting the sea casts its magic on the whole place, we also have a place in Egypt where the Nile River meets the Mediterranean Sea, it is like a divine miracle..!! This sushi California Rolls looks great..it's bright green, and making that maysor masala dosa is like painting...it's like a delicious sun disk, and this butter chicken from scratch made by Chef Gorav was amazing.. Thank you so much Chef Joel, this adventure has come to us with such high sense and precision that for some time I felt I was there..!! I'm holding onto my seatbelt, waiting for the next vlog adventure..!!
Tks for the 2nd video Joel. Just want to ask you something - I read a book today about someone's travels in Hong-Kong. The writer said that the most exquisite dish he had over there is a dish called Begger's Chicken. Its made by rubbing loads of spices into the chicken, wrap it in lotus leaves and then cover it with clay and bake in coal fire for hours. When they order it, its a huge ball of clay that came and the waiter put it on a special dish and broke it with a machete. The writer says its God's food cause it smells and taste like nothing on earth. Have you experienced this ???
Clay cooking has been around for a long time to help preserve the juices and intensify flavours, I have tried many chickens in clay cooking but not the Begger's chicken. Sounds awesome though, love that style of cooking!
Well my first question as I start to watch this video is - how much in USD is a hotel such as that in India per night? Is the food expensive or reasonable?
The 5 star hotels are about the same as anywhere, but you can find reasonable $20 a night places to stay. Food is very cheap on the street, not in 5 star hotels.

Well...this isn't exactly what you would regard as the typical Indian experience. This level of Western polish, gated isolation, and concealment of the problems of India can't really be seen as authentic or common. At the same time, India's long road to greater prosperity requires the expansion of this sort of elite hospitality industry. I'm glad that you chose to show this side. Nice video.
I am from Goa and I didn't hear any mention about Goan food nor the hotel promoting Goan cuisine. This expect this specially from such a big hotel chain
