I used the 357 battery in an Audi
I use the 357 as a replacement for the LR44 and it seems to work fine.

I bought a couple of these mics at the start of the year and they've stood up to being used in a school for the last six months. Both are still working fine and are on their original batteries.

Boya m1 mic does not work with Mi or Vivo smartphone s.why?

The audio didn't work on the last 2 videos I filmed on my DSLR Canon camera with this mic. I even did a test first. Is there something obvious I might be doing wrong? I had it switched to camera mode.

This video made me buy this mic for my budget guest podcast setup. I got just one to see for myself if it fit my needs before i splurged on a bunch of them, but I'm pretty confident that it's perfect. I really appreciated how straightforward this review actually was! No nonsense, no random unrelated personal anecdotes, no hmmms and ums, no crinkling plastic packages, and tested across multiple devices and OS--simply a perfect review. I didn't even know how bad a review could be until I saw how good this one was XD

Okay, not true. It sounded like hot ass, but my point still stands. Headset mics are garbage.
Just received mine: It does everything you say very well. I especially like the battery/preamp capsule as it's rock solid. The cable length is great for running from the lapel of a guest to my various recording set-ups both remote and in-studio. Thanks for posting this excellent review video, Bandrew!!!

One thing I've noticed about this mic is how different the sound quality is depending on what you plug it into. Sounded terrible when recording from my samsung s6 but when plugged into my canon 80d it sounds amazing. Great for the price!

Also bought this mic last week after having watched recommendation on TH-cam. Compared it to my GoPro Hero 4 Silver built-in mic, this Booyah mic sounds significantly better. I have always hated listening to my own voice on playback but this mic makes my voice so much more tolerable that I don't mind hearing for extended period :D

noodlefoo bro i bought it today.......in smartphone mode it catches noice ...(i use mi A1smartphone)...but on same phone in camera mode it doesnt catches wind noice .......why is it so?.......if i'm using it on my phone then it shouldn't be catching noice in smartphone mode ...also i am using footage camera 3rd party camera app.......plz reply ...i wanna know whats the problem....

From Australia, you can buy these things for around $15 on eBay, which is about $12 US, so I bought two. Because the lavalier has a trrs plug - I also bought two adapters on eBay (trrs female to trs male) for a little over $1 each, and they work great. Bargain

I want to connect this to a Tascam DR 05. I was wondering what the range is on this mic? I make videos where there are as many as 3 people all about 5 feet apart (in a boat). Do you think it would pick up if centered? If not, do you have any recommendations on something similarly priced? Basically I want something cheap and replaceable to not risk getting the tascam wet.
The mic has poor noise cancellation actually. So if you use it to record outdoors it will pick up lot of noises. So skip it if you want to record outdoors.

Inspired by both of your 2 most recent videos, today I tried plugging the Boya (with 1/4" adapter) into the 1/4" Line In input of the DBX286s, and....wow!!! Finally a way to record quality audio from a (cheap) lav mic, with zero noise (provided I adjust the gain properly), and with some useful adjustments as a bonus. Because I sometimes need to use a lav, this is like the Holy Grail of setups. Thanks!!!

Dam I've been looking at lavs all day and I didn't even think to do this, could you link me to an an audio sample if you still have this setup? Only issue is I don't think this giant 20ft cord is going to be long enough to reach my dbx from my vive. Can I chain it to another 20 foot stereo extension cable to this thing without any quality degradation?
Can someone help me, please, I have this mic and I am trying to use it with my Windows 10 PC it is producing a hissing sound throughout the recording. Can anyone tell me how I can stop this?

This is why I have an Android phone (LG G4.) Apple products in general have been declining in quality since the 2012 Macbook Pro, or probably earlier than that. I don't like Apple products because in my opinion, they are overpriced and underpowered. It's also why I won't have a Mac unless I build a Hackintosh.
The only good thing about soldering the RAM to the motherboard would be that if I need to replace a Mac's motherboard whenever I'm working in IT after college, I don't need to put in new RAM modules. Other than that, only being able to upgrade the hard drive or SSD is very stupid. Don't professionals desire being able to upgrade components, especially in cases like video rendering and 3D modeling? It's a flawed design mentality whenever a company like Apple rips most of the I/O from the newest Macbook Pro models. It seems like they are moving backwards in technology so that the consumer will need to pay more for absolute necessities like a 3.5mm port or an SD card slot for some people.
Though the iMac Pro looks interesting, it's not for me personally. I'm sure that my points in this post have a bunch of flaws, but it's only my opinion. What do you guys think about Apple's change in design philosophy/mentality, at least when it comes to their decisions on I/O, internal hardware upgrades, etc.?

Jacob Jarboe OnePlus 5 is one of the only flagships that still have the 3,5mm plug.
Just don't go on tangents. You didn't need to go into this much detail. No one cares that apple is shit now. Everyone knows it. Apple knows it but they still keep doing it. But this just wasn't the right place to post this.
