Great video! To make sure you have the absolute perfect starting point for your weight you should not only measure the static sag, but also the rider's sag. Don't know what that should be on an adventure bike like this, but on a normal street bike it's 1/3rd of the total travel distance of the suspension. Total travel distance is 120mm in front on my ride, so 40mm rider's sag is needed. If both type of sags are in spec, you'll know you have the right spring for your weight on your suspension. If the rider's sag is in spec, but the static sag to high (weak), then the spring is too soft. You can't even get to the proper rider's sag when the spring is too hard.
Once sags are in spec then rebound is something pretty hard to measure. If it's too open at the rear (not dampening) the seat should shoot up and then down. If it's too much closed it should go up very slow. The best way is slow but controlled. In the front it should go all the way up controlled and then settle down slowly at the static sag (not more than one bounce up).
I've learned a lot from watching Dave Moss Tuning videos. He's an absolute guru suspension wise.

Thanks for your comment, I may want to check the sack with the rider as well, but its pretty hard on your own🤣.
The static sack is compensated already for the rider (although rider weight differs of course). On the front the sack was 35 mm (static) and on the rear only 15 out of my head...
Suspension travel is 190mm if I'm correct, so 30% is 47 mm with the rider.

The bike is pretty though, there are plenty of examples of people doing over 300k on them. They are also pretty simple to work on and there are good shop manuals available.
Enjoy the bike and ride safe!

Thank you for the videos. Which bellows did you purchase for the front forks? Are you happy with them?

I've asked my mechanic to install them, so I'm not sure which ones he installed. They're pretty standard rubber bellows, nothing fancy. They're lasting for 6 years at this point and i'd no complains...

When editing your next video please reduce the music volume. It was often louder than your speech & difficult to hear what you were saying.

@johnAlot thanks for the feedback, I'll turn down the music a bit for the next video!
